One of the best views of Marina Bay Sands is from Swissotel the Stamford’s Level 70, SKAI Restaurant. Among all the high tea I have tried in Singapore, I believe this the most value for your money. The price maybe steep but the quantity and quality of the food is worth the price. With the view and the excellent service by the staff, it was an experience worth more than we paid for. Upon arriving at the restaurant, the view that will greet you is of the Marina Bay Sands. The interior of the restaurant Is tastefully designed to complement the view, sophisticated and luxurious. Even though we got an email that we won’t be seated by the floor to ceiling windows, when we arrived, we were directed to a more private area by the windows compared to the open-seating area. The view from our seat was amazing! The staff were very accommodating and even explained each of the item on the prettily arranged tiered set. Both the sweet and savoury items were very good although I like the sweets better. We chose coffee and tea to be able to try both offerings. Skai, Singapore's representative bar & restaurant, is a place where you can enjoy the Marina Bay Sands from the height of 70 floors, so you must make a reservation in advance. We also made a reservation a month in advance and were able to enjoy the night view of Singapore by sitting on the window seats. We had an awesome evening drink at the SKAI bar, the view is from the 70th floor and it was so breathtaking! We arrived here early at 6pm before the sunset, so we got to enjoy 2 views- daylight view and night view. I prefer the night view more so didn’t capture the daylight as much. We brought our family here who were in SG for the first time, and it was so kind of them to remember and prepared a cake for us, which we didn’t know in advance, what a surprise!! We ordered quite a few drinks but unfortunately didn’t manage to capture as well because we all busy drinking 😝 Our relatives love this place because it’s absolutely stunning! Of course everything come with a price, I must say this place is quite pricey. Do make sure to book an appointment before coming down especially you’re coming with a large group! Cheers 🥂

Birthday lunch in (the) SKAI! A bird’s eye view of Singapore’s Bay Area and city centre, and as far inland as the eye can see! For someone obsessed with maps and miniatures, this was a birthday to remember. The clear blue skies provided the perfect backdrop and lighting for the million photos I took. SKAI has always been famous for its views. Situated on the 70th floor, you can see a breathtaking view of Singapore's cityscape. Window seats are difficult to book (so plan early!), and we were blessed to get one. It was a rejunevating experience to dine against the backdrop of Marina Bay Sands and Esplanade! We had the set menu and some ala carte dishes to go along. The set menu is an extravagant 4-course meal. We started with lobster as the appetiser, followed by foie gras as the intermediate and Wylarah waygu with black truffle as the main course. The meal ended on a very sweet note with plum & apple dessert. The taste of the Wylarah waygu is unmatched and absolutely delicious! I love the tenderness of the meat and the robust flavour that is further enhanced by the black truffle. The pairing of the ingredients is nicely done and very pleasing to the palate. I am a dessert lover and always have space for it even after a filling meal. SKAI's desserts are stellar! We had plum & apple crumble topped with vanilla ice cream, pecan and choya sauce. The hint of sourness from the choya blends really well with the sweet ice cream. The crunchiness of the pecan adds texture to the dessert and elevates the whole experience. We visited this place on a Sunday to try their Sunday 3 course menu. They also served bread for starter which was soft and fluffy! Here's what we ordered:- Appetisers: Smoked Duck - 8/10 the vegetable was lacking a little salt but the duck was soft and tender! The smokiness of the duck was strong, very tasty. Overall nice texture throughout the dish. ; Pea soup - 2/10 not recommended - bland and lacks visual presentation and texture. Main: Salmon - 10/10 well balanced dish in both taste and texture. Fish was cooked to perfection - crispy skin and flakey meat! ; Pork Belly - 10/10 another well balanced dish! Pork belly was crispy yet succulent! Dessert: Match Tiramisu - 8/10 nice texture between all the element on the dish. The vanilla bean ice cream was very tasty! ; 8/10 for the chocolate lover! The sorbet balanced out the richness of the chocolate mousse! Overally its a nice place to visit for a date! I recommend bringing a sweater as it's very cold. SKAI restaurant located at Swissotel The Stamford has great city views that you can enjoy when you dine at this fine restaurant. Marina Bay Sands, Esplanade, Singapore river and the skyscrapers can be seen. The food served is amazing as well and there is also an afternoon set. This is a great place to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. ♥️ I would personally recommend to arrive at the restaurant in the evening to witness the breathtaking day, sunset and night cityscape of Singapore. Watch the sky turn into darkness with lit up buildings as you dine! 🌃 How to get there if you’re taking public transport - Alight at City Hall station and walk through Raffles City to Swissotel. Sunday Afternoon hightea with my girls at SKAI was an amazing experience. We were very lucky to be assigned to a table with such great view which we were able to enjoy our high tea with unblocked view and at the same time take amazing photos! Taking the train is the cheapest and most convenient way. It's a "Polished venue at Swissôtel The Stamford offering contemporary European cuisine & city panoramas" and it definitely lived up to that! We had a pleasant anniversary lunch dining experience at Skai. It was surprisingly crowded on a weekday. It was nice that we were given a quiet corner to enjoy the scenic city skyline. The food served were impeccable and I'll let the food do the talking! We enjoyed the dessert especially the lemon curd with meringue. It melts in your mouth. definitely puts the dining experience to another level. The food has a lot of Japanese influence and Japanese flavours are subtly used in many of the dishes and that adds up to the overall experience. We had a couple of appetizers which were good, but absolutely loved the squid ink pasta with lobster meat and crab meat. The flavour was brilliant, fresh pasta stands out and very generous amounts of both lobster and crab meat. The steak was good and a good choice for a grill place. It was nice gesture that they provided a small complimentary slice of chocolate cake knowing that we were celebrating our special day. SKAI is a refined yet lively contemporary grill restaurant, situated on the 70th floor of Singapore’s acclaimed Swissôtel The Stamford. SKAI high tea This is definitely the most luxurious high tea I ever had and it’s located at the 70th floor! We love EVERYTHING! The ambience, the view, the drinks and the pastries. All the pastries are so pretty here, and it tasted really good! You can choose coffee or tea but to take note, only tea is refillable and coffee is not. I would suggest to go for tea because all the pastries are very sweet, it’s nicer with tea! I called in earlier to inform one of my friend is vegetarian, and I’m so pleasantly surprised that they can accommodate that! They help to prepare a set of vegetarian set separately, we are so touched by that :) The dining time is 2 hours, from 3pm to 5pm and it’s $68++ per pax. You can choose to top up abit more for the free flow champagne. Overall we really enjoyed our time here, must try at least once!!

Tried out the Saturday Brunch at Skai, which comes with freeflow champagne and cocktails. Food was ala-carte buffet style, with a dessert buffet counter. The view at level 70 is gorgeous and ambience is really cozy for a weekend brunch with friends over drinks. Service staff were very attentive and helpful and they gave us a complimentary brownie for our birthday celebration. Would definitely visit again! #champagnebrunch #skai
