There is a staircase leading up to the round pagoda on a square base. The back of the pagoda is decorated with pictures of the life of the Buddha and pictures of pagodas made from bottles. The multipurpose pavilion base of the club is a pavilion with a long curved roof. The sim in the middle of the water is decorated with green bottles. Inside is a white jade Buddha statue. The back of the white jade Buddha statue is decorated with colorful beverage lids.
Wat Pa Maha Chedi Kaew was built in 1984 when Phra Khru Wiwek Thammacharn or Luang Pu Lod went to set up a tent in Nong Yai Cemetery. There were always relatives and villagers coming to practice Dhamma. Luang Pu had the idea to build a temple in this cemetery. There were a lot of bottles in that area. Luang Pu saw that the bottles were colorful and beautiful. They could be used to decorate the building. So, Luang Pu collected bottles from the villages in the temple area and from nearby villages and brought them to build the first hut. When the temple became well-known, people brought bottles to donate to the temple. Later, the temple built a water sim. It took 1 year to build. After that, more buildings were built.
