[2025 Chom Thong Attraction] Travel Guide for Sirithan Waterfall (Updated Apr)

Sirithar Waterfall is located in Doi Inthanon National Park, 81 kilometers from Chiang Mai city. It was originally called "Pa Ka Waterfall", while "Sirithar Waterfall" was given by the King under the royal patronage of Her Majesty the Queen Mother. It is a waterfall that flows from the Mae Klang River before flowing into the Mae Ping River in Chom Thong District. It is approximately 50 meters high and flows down a large cliff in two beautiful tiers. It also has a large volume of water and a strong current throughout the year. The forest in this area is a mixed deciduous forest with pine and dry evergreen forests. It has high biodiversity and is an important source of food and herbs. Getting There - This is one of the best places to go. It takes about 1 hour and 39 minutes to get there by scooter from Chiang Mai. This waterfall is located inside the Nationalpark Attractions - This waterfall is very beautiful and there is a nice big platform from where you can have a great view on the waterfall. there is a beautiful tree in the midland of the platform which you can see on the pictures Hotels - there are many hotels, gomestays and guesthouses in the area Food & Restaurants - There are great restaurants in the neighborhood Shopping - there are a few shops in the area #tripblazers #bucketlistreboot

it is sad that this waterfall can only be seen from far away, yet, it’s still stunning and beautiful. this waterfall is on the way to grand pagoda if you are in Doi Inthanon national park! you can leave your car or scooter in the parking lot, and walk for 100 meter, you are able to reach the view point . apparently some part of this place are closed, you’re not really able to see the entire waterfalls, still the walk in the forest is really pleasant, and it’s really easy to access to the platform where you can see the waterfall. the water is strong, and you need to be a bit careful if you would love to walk around, it’s very slippery #tripblazers #bucketlistreboot #mytripvlog

#songkran2024 I was clearing my annual leave at that time and thus wanted to make use of my leave to travel overseas. In the end, I decided to go Chiang Mai of Thailand to enjoy the holidays. One of the places I visited was Sirithan Waterfall. The scene there was spectacular and beautiful. I even managed to saw a rainbow at the waterfall. I really enjoyed my time there.
