Review of Siri Regent Hotel Nakhon Phanom
Hello friends, this trip is to enjoy the cool breeze in Nakhon Phanom at the beginning of the month, but the weather is not good, we got strong sun instead.
We chose to stay at Siri Regent Hotel because of its good location, located on the Mekong River.
Near 7-Eleven and tourist attractions
Which seems impressive, but it is not. 555
Grand river front room, breakfast included
The room is spacious, the pillows and bed are usable, there is a bathtub and a beautiful view.
The cleanliness is moderate, not very neat.
Pros
Good location, good view, beautiful swimming pool, many types of self-pedaling and electric bicycles to choose from (but did not use because the battery was not full yet).
No bellboy (not serious about this). There is limited parking in front. You have to enter a narrow alley next to the hotel to park at the back. There is no security guard to direct you, you have to watch your own car.
However, this hotel is the first place we asked to meet the manager to discuss the problems of our stay and to improve and fix them.
1. The breakfast room is small, not refilled fast enough. The hotel is full during the holidays, but there is no good management. We went to the restaurant twice and still could not enter. There was no problem solving. Customers had to go out and walk around and wait, then come back again. People were crowded in front of the room, the tables were always full. We suggested fixing it. In the future, we might give out queue cards, put in queues, put in times, whatever, so that customers don't get annoyed and feel bad.
2. The swimming pool on the 7th floor is beautiful, but small, there are a lot of people, and I think it might have a leak or not because the water flows downstairs all the time. When walking past the lowest floor, there will be water droplets splashing on the head and face.
And the room we stayed on the 5th floor, a corner room, there was water flowing from the top of the pool, the sound of water drops hitting the balcony railing, loud all night. The later it got, the quieter it got, the louder the sound of water drops, making me sleepy and waking up.
3. The shower and bidet have mold and algae, it might not be cleanable anymore.
4. The walls of the room are thin, I could hear the sound of people in the next room talking, there was a thumping sound, and the sound of children playing, and the sound of people in the room above dragging chairs.
Overall, I hope that in the future the hotel will improve because the location is good already and the swimming pool on the upper floor is already beautiful.
P.S. The most impressive thing on this trip was driving around to buy Kalamae Prasert, very delicious.
