River Safari is nestled between the Singapore Zoo and Night Safari, it is both a river-themed zoo and aquarium. It has different zones that replicate the habitats of rivers across the world, from the Mississippi to the Yangtze. It is the first and only wildlife park that is themed around a river. I was thrilled to see the giant pandas, Jia Jia and Kai Kai. Also the adorable red panda, and many other fascinating animals. I like the Mekong River zone with giant catfish. During the ride, a commentary is provided which shares tidbits about Clarke Quay, Boat Quay and Marina Bay. They also have the laser show cruise which brings you closer to the laser lights show outside Marina Bay Sands, which is a mix of laser lights and fountain. It is available only during the time slots when the laser show is playing, and gives visitors another perspective of the laser lights show. While the commentary may be more suited for tourists, it is still a once in a lifetime experience to ride along the river and watch life happening on both sides. #mustdo
