Trip Moments Recommendations
#Similan Islands Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Phuket 4 days and 3 nights special forces tour on a whim
Going to Phuket now is the peak season, the cost is actually quite high, and the hotel is the main expense. Many good hotels are already booked, especially family-friendly ones. However, apart from the hotel, if you don't consider shopping, it's not too bad, it depends on how you play.
Since you choose to travel during the peak season, you need to have a good mindset, at least the scenery you encounter is far ahead. Although it's cheaper during the summer vacation, there are always big waves and heavy rain, and it rains for a few days after playing for a few days....
, Offshore islands, if time is not enough, it is recommended to go to Similan, don't go too many. If you have enough time, it doesn't matter, go wherever you want, but it's not recommended to go to an island a day, it's very tiring X travel a holiday, not military training! (Or a day trip for a day, and then go to another island to stay)
1 Similan: The sea is really beautiful, no filter is needed, it's full of dreams, the disadvantage is that you have to get up early. Similan can't accommodate people, although there are boat stays, but people with poor sleep will be uncomfortable, those who like deep diving and have certificates can consider boat stays.
2 Phi Phi Island: A day trip is also possible, you can also stay on the island, there are many hotel choices, if you choose to stay on the island, you can go to the viewpoint to watch the scenery and take pictures, you can also charter a long tail boat near the pier to Maya Bay, Little Phi Phi Island, Bamboo Island, etc.
3 Emperor Island: It's not as lively as Phi Phi Island, but it's very original and quiet. The sea of Emperor Island is blue jelly, the sea of Phi Phi Island is gradient, and the part of Little Phi Phi Island is green, like jade.
For the Phuket itinerary, I suggest you arrange it like this:
1 Patong Beach: Bar Street, Jiangxi Cold, Show Field, etc. are not far away, one day is enough, you can also experience Thai massage in Patong. Go to Banzaan to buy seafood and fruits, be sure to bargain. Jiangxi Cold shopping and dining can be solved, a lot of things are cabbage price, if the consumption exceeds 2K, remember to fill in the tax refund form
2 Karon Kata: Karon coastline is long, Kata has small hills. If you have plenty of time, you can stay for two or three days, blow the sea breeze, soak in the sea by the beach, drink some wine and play with the sand, watch the sunset, and lie flat in the hotel. Karon Viewpoint is average, it is recommended to go to Laem Sai Cliff Cafe
3 Phuket Town: The old street has a strong Nanyang style, the houses along the street are all colorful, and there are some exquisite small shops, coffee shops, all with unique styles, stroll, eat and take pictures in Phuket Town, it's very chic. If you go on Sunday, just stroll around the weekend night market
There are also many ways to play in other areas, arranging the itinerary by region saves taxi fares, everyone knows that taxis in Phuket are expensive.
I use Grab for taxi, purely because I don't want to waste time, compared to Bolt and Indrive, it's only about 30% more expensive (the whole journey probably won't cost more than 600). You can also take a double bar car/smart bus, which is more economical, equivalent to a bus.
Cong 'Zong' Hao 'Phuket Alliance'
They are all friends who have recently traveled to Phuket. We have a long time in Phuket and will find partners here~ There are hundreds of people here discussing strategies, avoiding pits together, and there are restaurant sharing documents, hotel selection guides, everyone is very enthusiastic and can chat!

Breathtaking views from Elephant Head Rock
A must do activity is an hour boat ride to Similan Islands from Khao Lak, 2 hours north of Phuket. Thailand’s Similan Islands National Park, a group of 11 islands in the Andaman Sea, is one of the most pristine places in the world for diving. The islands boast picturesque landscapes with white-sand beaches, large granite rocks jutting out from the earth, dense jungles teeming with diverse fauna and flora, and crystal-clear azure waters. Similan island no. 8 is where the famous Elephant Head Rock is and one of the best instagram spots in Thailand. We had the best snorkelling there and was fortunate to swim with 2 beautiful turtles.
Similan Island tour
Took the love Amanda day tour with speed boat.
Tour includes hotel picket from phuket to the pier and offers simple breakfast at pier while waiting to board. I'm the first one to arrive in my tour hence waiting time was slightly long. Suggest to live and depart from the top part of phuket to minimize all the travel and waiting time.
water is so clear and snorkeling quality is great as visibility is clear. A lot of corols and different types of fish.
Tour include simple lunch. don't expect too much in the middle of the island. but they offer refill on some of the items. lunch was seafood soup, rice with omelet and fried chicken.

The Similan Islands
✅All around the Phuket Island you can buy a tour to Similan Island. It’s very famous tourist destination. Everything will be organized, you will just enjoy the views. Perfect variant for solo travelers 😉.
✅It’s a national park, access of tourists is limited. From May till October islands are closed for visitors. So, organize your trip accordingly. ✅The area is extremely beautiful!!! I’ve never seen such color of the sea! You can snorkel 🤿 there, walk in the jungle and visit a turtle base.
It’s possible to climb a hill. On the way you will find lots of photo locations.
This place is definitely worth of time and money that you will spend.
📍Recommended time - one day trip.

Similan Islands 💕😊🏖🌊
We arrived at Sailing rock which is the landmark of "Similan sea" at island 8 (Similand island) to relax and swim at beautiful Donald Duck bay (Ao Kuak). The sand of the Similan islands is named as the whitest sand in Thailand.
We had a wonderful time in island 4 (Koh Miang), and islands 5 & 6. We snorkled and appreciated the beauty of the underwater world, viewing fishes and corals with different forms and sizes.

Koh Similan of Thailand
The Similan Islands are found in the Andaman Sea off the west coast of Thailand, namely in Lam Kaen, Thai Mueang District, Phang-nga. Eleven islands make up the Similan archipelago. The Mu Koh Similan National Park, which spans 140 square kilometers, contains all of the islands.
The islands are ideal for those who enjoy diving and exploring lonely and barren locations teeming with wildlife. Koh Similan, the largest island, is perhaps the finest site to begin your journey. All of the Similan Islands are encircled by crystal clear shallow waters teeming with fascinating rock formations and beautiful coral reefs. In Thailand and the surrounding, the marine life around the islands is unrivaled.

Amazing crystal clear water during Covid19. What a beautiful island. We got a nature back but a bit sad that the national park not make money. Snorkeling here is pretty nice. Will be back for sure. Amazing Thailand.
#awesomepic
#awesomepic The Similan Islands is northwest of Phuket, about 5 hours away from the mainland of Thailand, and there are two small islands to the north. This sea area is a world-class diving destination. Because it is far from the land and there are no living facilities on the island, in order to allow more time for diving, most of the diving trips are to eat and live on board and dive directly into the sea. Similan's liveaboard diving is considered entry-level and inexpensive. The most popular 4 days, 4 nights and 15 dives package is about more than 4,000 yuan per person, including full fare, accommodation, diving equipment hire, etc., which can cover all the essence of Similan dive sites. We encountered the last minute special offer directly at the pier dive shop, and enjoyed the package of 5 days and 5 nights at the price of 4 days and 4 nights. You can also participate in the course at the same time as boarding and diving. From entry OW, AOW to advanced courses such as high oxygen, deep diving, DM, etc., you can participate, and the course fee is very cheap on the premise of reporting boarding. However, since most dive sites have a water depth of more than 20 meters, it is strongly recommended that students above AOW come to participate in boarding.

Miss Milano Islands
Smranland is located in the northwest of Phuket. It is a group of large and small islands. It is only developed from December to April, and it is world class. Diving paradise with azure sea and vast sandy beaches. You can arrange a day trip to the sea, you can go diving, swimming, or even just watching the sun in the island.
is a traditional festival in Thailand, every year from April 13th to 15th, for three days. In order to pray for the blessing of the New Year, all the fastings must be bathed in good spirits, and people will pour water on each other to wash away the sins of the body. Phuket Splashing Water is concentrated in Patong Beach and Patong Bar Street.
Phuket's liveliest beaches, and the most complete seaside resort for tourist facilities, shopping, bars, restaurants, coffee shops are mostly concentrated near Patong Beach, the night The more lively.
Phi Phi Island day trip
reported a day trip, packaged round-trip traffic, going out to the sea through Phi Phi Island, Maya Bay, Viking Cave and finally to Egg Island. Phi Phi Island is very individual, with numerous hills standing on the sea and wonders over the sea. Maya Bay, the beach is small and hidden in the jungle between the two mountains. The Viking Cave is also known as the Swallow's Nest Cave. There are many limestone caves under the hills on the island. Different caves are home to sea Swallows and wild monkeys. In order to protect the ecological environment, they only watch on the bed. Egg Island is very small, there is no pressure on the coastal island, the beach is beautiful, and the sea is very shallow, which is very suitable for family and children.
jungle leap
tied up with a seat belt, follow the coach and swing in the jungle, look for the day after the sea to try this exciting experience!
Karen Beach
Karen Beach is smaller than Patong Beach. If Patong Beach is like a big uncle, then Karon Beach is a calm and shy woman, the sun sets, come to the card The beach is quietly watching the sunset.
Taiwan
originated in Thailand, can not be said to be cruel but also rough and fierce, the scene is more visual impact. The Thai Boxing Gym is just opposite the Banzan Seafood Market. After eating the seafood, the competition is going on, but during the game, there will also be hawkers coming to serve beer.
If you go abroad for the first time, then my preferred travel destination is Phuket. The travel facilities are perfect, cheap and fun, and follow the itinerary!
The Similan Islands
Similan Islands, which are only open for 6 months a year, are the 9 islands in the northwestern part of Phuket, Thailand. They are famous diving sites because they are open every day from November to April and to the rainy season. It is forbidden to board the island in order to protect the natural ecology, so as long as you come to Phuket for a holiday, you will be willing to go to the Similan Islands as long as you are open during the opening hours, because it is really beautiful!
The most beautiful and undamaged islands in the Similan Islands, with a wide variety of marine life, the average tourist will be taken to snorkeling, the sea views seen in different areas are different, either deep or shallow or There are coral reefs or cute fish.
Similan Island's island hopping day tour will eventually be on the 8th island called "Ming Island, which is surrounded by white sand beaches. It is really comfortable to step on the beach, rest. I can still ascend to this sea area, seeing a pure blue is very beautiful, but barefoot on the stone exposed by the sun is still a little hot. On this island, you can go snorkeling as long as you want Wear the top cover and pounce on the surface of the sea to see the various small fishes swimming around you, but don't swim too far to pay attention to it.

Similan Islands
I booked a trip to the Similand Islands last week- and let me tell you something - I CAN DEFINITELY recommend it, crystal clear water just like in paradise
Similan Islands in Thailand: Fun on the Sand
🏝️ On the first day, between the third and fourth dives, we'll head to the beach for some fun, taking a speedboat over 🚤. The island boasts a beach with clear waters and fine sand. It also resembles some of Hong Kong's country parks, with shaded areas featuring long tables and benches, restrooms, and a small store selling drinks, popsicles, and even feminine hygiene products for any emergency needs.
Additionally, there's a sailboat rock 🪨. It's just a ten-minute walk along the wooden walkway to reach the top of the rock. The path is not too difficult, but it's a bit tricky without proper footwear. Once at the top, you can enjoy a high-angle view of the entire beach, 🌊 with the captivating gradient of blue and green hues of the sea.

Similan Islands—one of the top ten diving paradises in the world
There is a saying in Phuket🏖️ that goes like this:
"Don't go to the Similan Islands first because after you've been there, all other seascapes will pale in comparison."
It's true, really true! The color of the sea doesn't need any filter, it's stunningly beautiful!
Generally, it is open from November to April of the following year, but the actual opening time is subject to the official announcement.
It's quieter than Phuket, more niche than Koh Samui.
Known as Thailand's 'Maldives🏖️',
it is a must-visit destination for diving🏊🏊 enthusiasts.
The azure waters are crystal clear, with a variety of fish🐟, turtles🐢🐢, corals··· a real-life Finding Nemo.
The natural turtle🐢 conservation base is not open to the public, but you can snorkel🏊 in the surrounding waters.
A bustling little island, walking barefoot on the soft sandy beach🏝️, time is gentle, comfortable and pleasant.
With sand as fine as powdered milk, dense and white, the extraordinary touch, soft sand quality, and clear water will make you want to roll around on the spot.
It's a couple's island suitable for deep diving, with Anita's coral reef, accompanied by various lively little fish🐟🐟~
It will definitely be an unforgettable experience! Just put on a diving mask and look down to find Nemo among the corals.
From the mountaintop, you can see a very wide seascape.
The gradient-colored sea is as clear and translucent as glass, no need for a filter, every casual shot📷📷 is a masterpiece~
It can be said to be a beautiful snorkeling spot.
Colorful schools of bluefin trevally🐠🐠 and tuna swim among them.
The title of one of the world's top ten diving spots is well-deserved!

2024/4/1
The Similan Islands are isolated in the western waters of Thailand, endowing them with a paradise-like azure sea, visibly clear seabed, fine and soft sand beaches, where turtles and dolphins can also be encountered as a stroke of luck.
Among the many islands that I have visited, the Similan Islands are definitely my top choice. Although it is more than a 2-hour drive from Phuket, in terms of scenery, service, and uniqueness, the Similan Islands, as Thailand's National Park, are definitely superior.
The cost for a one-day trip is THB 2,700, which includes the national park entrance fee, round-trip transfers, breakfast, lunch, dessert on the return trip, drinks, and snorkeling equipment. Although the price is about twice that of other island-hopping trips, it is very worthwhile, and the meals are surprisingly delicious, with a variety of flavors of small cakes🍰 for dessert on the return trip.
