Situated in the Silom area of Bangkok is a Mexican restaurant called Taqueria. They offer dishes such as nachos and quesadillas as well as happy hours for traditional Mexican drinks like tequila and margaritas! They have contemporary music playing which adds to the atmosphere and there are only a few outdoor seating areas which are cool as they look out onto the street! I really enjoyed the steak sandwich with a Mexican twist. The staff are very friendly too

There goes your diet, but good. I personally would not eat steaks or other things on the menu, I would go to a foreign bar or restaurant where you can get great steaks. There are a few ramen restaurants that open 24 hours a day in Bangkok and 'A Ramen' is one of them. This 'exam style' ramen restaurant is located on the first floor of Silom Edge Department Store right at the corner of Silom Street. It gives you the vibe of Ichiran Ramen in Japan where you have to select the ingredients and level of spiciness of your ramen. After that, you have to push a buzzer for staff to take your order through a small wooden partition. Your menu will be served through that partition too. The prices are quite reasonable for what you get. However, don't expect the flavor to be exactly like the ramen in Japan because it's kind of not. Anyway it's a good experience though. The Coffee Club is a great place to have breakfast or other meals and there are many branches throughout Bangkok. This branch I visited is on Convent Road in Silom area. It's just opposite BNH Hospital. The coffee here is fantastic and I love to order iced cappuccino or iced latte. You can choose the level of sweetness or the type of milk to put in. Food here is great especially the western style menus. It's a bit pricey for both coffee and food, but for what you'll be getting, it's reasonable. #foodie #bangkok #passionpassport

A few days ago a new 24 hours shopping arcade opened in Silom area of Bangkok. With the concept of "the new sandbox community in CBD", Silom Edge is a mix-used complex with offices on the upper floors and a shopping arcade on the lower floors. Since this is just the opening phase, some parts of the arcade has just been opened to the public. I personally missed KFC in Silom. It has been gone for a while and now it's back at Silom Edge. Night goers can now be able to enjoy fried chicken at 2 am. like the old days. Some restaurants have been opened and some are expected to be in service soon. For many people, life is very tough and uncared for. When they passed away, often no one is arranging nor paying for their cremation or funeral expenses. Here comes this wonderful Temple that has. even doing it for free for many years. It’s incredible to think that we when die and there are nobody around to send us off to the other world.. This is a huge good deed for people who really care and wanted to help. The amount of donations is up to the donors. My friends, families and I have been coming here for years now.. #passionpassport The first location or hotel that I stayed in Bangkok is at Dusit Thani Hotel at Silom area. In those early days as teenager, the silom complex didn’t exist then. Since then with the development of BTS and the Silom Complex, I have move around in the silom area whenever I visited Bangkok. At the moment Dusit Thani is under huge redevelopment.. It won’t be ready for another few years to come. Silom Complex is one of favourite mall due to its location and the surrounding area. Located directly on the silom street with lots of food joints and massage outlets. Linked to it by Saladaeng BTS and within walking distance to the famous Lumpini Park. The mall has many good restaurants such as Baan Yiin and dessert shop AFTER you. Definitely recommended..

After visiting so many night markets in Thailand, I thought I had unlocked all forms of happiness—until I discovered this hidden gem, a niche morning market. 🌅✨ There are very few tourists here; it's mainly locals. 👥 The street itself isn’t long, but like a small sparrow with all its vital organs, it has everything you need. 🛍️ One of the highlights of this morning market is the variety of delicious and affordable snacks. 🍢🍜 The prices are about half of what you’d pay at a night market. Maybe it’s because I’m not picky, but I tried a few things, and they all tasted quite good. 😋 Besides snacks, there are also fruits 🍉🍊, daily necessities, and clothes 👗👖. I even bought a pair of jeans that I absolutely love for just 200 baht—such affordable prices! 💸 Compared to other more commercialized night markets, this place offers a more authentic experience of local life. 🏡 The healing atmosphere here is truly heartwarming. Aunglo presents modern Thai fare inspired by street food culture using an ancient Thai charcoal stove, or aunglo. The shrimp pomelo is so good and refreshing totally a great starter to begin with! The mooping is also really tender and grilled to perfection . Really good! The other Yakitori is really tender and juicy too! Must say all the yakitori skewer is grilled to perfection where the meat is tender and juicy never overcooked! It is not your average yakitori as all dishes is infused with some thai flavours to it! So its really delish and exotic for some in a good way definitely! I love all the dishes and would come back to try other dishes! As the seats are quite limited, please advise to make a reservation to secure your seats! First visit to Songkran festival in Bangkok 🤩🤩🤩 There was a lot fun and it was indeed a wonderful experience! Although there was quite over-crowded at some places which you might need to walk slowly and follow the pace Met a lot of nice friends from different countries Had a lot of nice foods too I love this place 😍😍 Definitely will be going back in 2025 See you Bangkok！

This property or land at the end of Thanon Silom *near Saladaeng was empty for more than 10 years. I came back to Bangkok and was surprised that they built Silom Edge. Open 24 hours. Swensens. ChaTraMue. 7 Eleven. KFC... and many other shops. It's fun to go there... especially when everything else around that area has already CLOSED.

Nadimos, Lebanese restaurant, is a fantastic restaurant in the Silom area of Bangkok located on a bustling street with great service. They offer a traditional Lebanese menu with specialities such as humus with different types of breads and dips as well as Thai dishes too. They have a happy hour drinks deal in the evening and also have free wifi. There is a big indoor eating area as well as a courtyard outside too. They also have quite a big wine fridge/selection from around the world. The staff are also very nice and attentive and there is free wifi throughout.

#songkran2024 Vilas is a relatively new place opened by renowned Thai Michelin chef Prin Polsuk. Headed by chef Bank, Vilas cuisine uses a variety of ingredients from all over the world blending with local produce using traditional Thai cooking. Judging by what was presented it was evident a lot of efforts had gone into clever uses of local spices & herbs to foreign ingredients resulting in an exotic & delightful dinner.

#songkran2024 Can’t explain how I was foot deep in water here and ready to 🏊♀️ swim One of the biggest water fights has got to be in Silom! With both water pistols and guns and the traditional white powder, both locals and tourists rush on the streets to battle and wash away sins, bringing happiness and joy. Note: it is IMPOSSIBLE to stay dry on this 5km long huge party stretch. Remember to buy a phone pouch to keep your phone nice and dry (and still film the festive) You can try to stay on the BTS area to watch the festivities like I did but do expect a wet floor and plenty of laughter. 😆

Homie bar and restaurant is situated in Silom, Bangkok and is a nice spacious place to sit back and watch the world go by. There is free wifi in the restaurant and they have many drink happy deals in the evening on draught beer particularly. It’s open from 3pm to midnight and was not that busy when I visited. The price of the food is very cheap and they serve both Thai dishes as well as western food too #bangkoktrip
