Leaving Yuzixi, we took Provincial Road S434 on the way to Kangding, and made a special detour to Stingcuo to take a look. Located less than 200 meters northwest of Kangding Airport, Stingcuo lies quietly on the plateau. Its name means "quiet lake" in Tibetan. The surface of Stingcuo Lake is as calm as a mirror. After winter, there is still a layer of ice that is neither thick nor thin. The ice and snow near the shore have melted, but there is still ice in the center of the lake. The sky is blue and the clouds are white, and the water and the sky are connected. In the distance, you can see planes taking off from Kangding Airport. No wonder this place is known as the "Pearl of the Kham Plateau" and is also one of the niche places to view the Yala Snow Mountain and the Gongga Snow Mountain. There are few tourists here, basically only one or two cars. On the vast land, there are only lakes, ice, snow-capped mountains, sunshine, blue sky and white clouds, and the insignificant self.
