Sibu, formerly translated as "Sibu", is the capital of the third province of Sarawak, Malaysia, and the second largest city in the state.

Sibu Island: Located on the east coast of Johor, Malaysia, it is about 6 kilometers long and 1 kilometer wide. It was designated as a marine park in 1993. This is a dumbbell-shaped island, large at both ends and narrow in the middle. There is a small fishing village at the southern end. Local people call Sibu Island the "Island of Happiness". The island is covered with lush tropical plants and long golden beaches. There are many rock caves along the coast, formed by the impact of seawater brought by long-term monsoons, giving the island a rough beauty. The seabed off the coast of the island is covered with charming coral reefs and rich in marine life.
Lim's Swan Park: Located next to the Sibu gateway in the city center, the whooper swan is the typical symbol of Sibu town, and there are twelve zodiac statues next to it.
Sibu Night Market: Located at Hiep Street, Maklu and Limmangan Lane, the night market is very rich and has a variety of small stalls. The business hours are from 6pm to 10pm. There are more than a hundred stalls selling a variety of daily necessities, snacks, delicacies, and clothing every night, as well as many toys and small commodities that I played with in my childhood. The most popular one here is probably the food stall, the half-moon cake. Luo chicken is a very popular local snack and should not be missed.

Multiculturalism: 99% of the business people in the urban area are Chinese (mainly descendants of Fuzhou people), and the main products are finance, construction, palm oil, timber and shipbuilding. The Chinese community here also began to develop, and they retained their own language, culture and traditional customs.
Strong artistic atmosphere: Sibu has many art galleries and cultural centers showcasing the work of local artists. There are also some traditional handicraft shops here where tourists can buy local souvenirs.
