In spring, about 1,600 Somei-Yoshino cherry trees bloom along the river, creating a pink tunnel-like landscape that continues forever. Just a leisurely stroll is relaxing, and it's a great spot for taking photos! The contrast with the pine trees is also beautiful, so it's no wonder it was selected as one of the 100 best cherry blossom viewing spots. It's easily accessible from Hankyu Shukugawa Station and JR Sakura Shukugawa Station, so people from Kobe and Osaka can come for a day trip to see the cherry blossoms! I recommend a walk in the warm weather at noon, but the pink sky and cherry blossoms at dusk are also romantic and amazing... One of Hyogo's most famous patisseries, chosen as one of Tabelog's top 100 sweets shops! They sell cookies for souvenirs, and their "Herbelin Cookies" have the best crunchy texture...! At the eat-in, I had their famous lemon pie with coffee. The lemon custard cream pie and the generous amount of fresh cream are rich yet light enough to make you want to have another one! There are many products that can only be purchased here, so I recommend you make the effort to go there! It's one of my favorite cookies, but I got a request from a friend who was celebrating his birthday, so I went to the Shukugawa main store to get the legendary cookie (second photo). I thought, "I can buy it in Nihonbashi now," but it seems that it's only sold about once a month, so it seems like it will still be a great souvenir from Kansai.😂I read a lot of things online, but it's so delicious that I don't care about that! I'll try my best to line up.☺️ I went there on a Golden Week holiday, and although there was a long line, I was able to buy two boxes at 9:45. I'm so happy.☺️ The surrounding area is a quiet residential area, so there are rules for how to line up. I got the impression that everyone was lined up quietly. #FuriTabi We enjoyed cherry blossom viewing at Shukugawa in Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture. It is apparently a popular "cherry blossom viewing spot" for Hyogo residents, and it was truly beautiful to see the cherry blossoms in full bloom dancing along the river, with the petals gently drifting in the breeze. We enjoyed the arrival of spring at a leisurely pace while eating rice dumplings in a nearby park. Every time we walked under the tunnel of cherry blossoms, we felt the change of seasons and our hearts were soothed. Cherry blossom viewing at Shukugawa became a wonderful spring memory woven by cherry blossoms and nature. A place I don't want to tell anyone about, but I want to tell everyone about.
