To be honest, it was quite crowded and bustling, and the air was filled with the aroma of food. I tried the famous local "three heads and one palm" - duck head, rabbit head, fish head, and duck palm. The whole dish is spicy but not dry, and full of fresh fragrance. Every bite is an ultimate tease to the taste buds. (Personally I prefer duck head) Each one is very memorable. Crystal cake, screw chicken, baked cake, sesame cake, I have to say the taste is quite good~ 3️⃣The third stop: Quzhou Friendship Hotel Quzhou Friendship Hotel (Shuitingmen Guojin Center Branch) After eating and drinking, we walked and strolled for a whole day and chose a long-established 4-star hotel in Quzhou. It was located near the IFC and Shuitingmen. We could walk directly to the hotel. The hotel is well-equipped, and the rooms are equipped with modern home appliances and high-quality bedding. We booked a double breakfast room and wanted to try the hotel's breakfast. We unexpectedly found that it tasted good and there were many varieties. After eating, we took a rest and prepared to return. I absolutely love this hidden gem of a city❤️|||I heard that Quzhou is the only city in Zhejiang that loves spicy food, and as someone who can't live without spice, I've always wanted to go!! And it didn't disappoint, it's both delicious and fun!! The 🚄 from Hangzhou to Quzhou leaves at around nine in the morning and takes an hour and a half. There's only one train station in Quzhou, which is Quzhou Station. Once you arrive, you can head straight to Songyuan Food Market, where there are plenty of snacks and the fruit is cheap. But if there's a long queue, there's no need to go out as many places are tasty. I recommend the duck heads and egg burgers inside, as well as the small wontons. ➡️Then you can walk or scan a bike to the Dananmen City Wall, just over a kilometer away, very close. On the way, there's a Crystal Cake Girl where you can buy a cup of crystal cake, and continue walking to find Master Yang's baked pancakes, which are delicious😋 Inside the Dananmen City Wall is just an ordinary commercial street, not worth browsing. ➡️After visiting Dananmen, head to Mazhandi Food Street, just a few hundred meters away. The food street is full of old shops, and you can't go wrong with any of them. The clock background is a popular spot for social media check-ins on the city wall. ➡️Across the water from Shuiting Gate is the Luming Prairie. It's about a 2-kilometer walk or you can scan a bike or electric scooter to get there. The yellow electric scooters require a fixed parking spot, so make sure to look for a parking spot in advance, otherwise, you can't stop. There were delicious foods and fun places to visit! Firstly, regarding transportation, I arrived at Quzhou Station, which is very close to the city center. Coming out of Quzhou Station, you'll find Wanda Plaza right there, which is super convenient. The attractions in Quzhou are quite concentrated, so you can get to them by walking or by bus, which is very convenient. For accommodation, we stayed at a place near Shuitingmen which was newly opened in 2024. The environment was particularly nice, and it was very clean inside! Highly recommended! Places to visit: 1️⃣ Shuitingmen, a must-visit attraction in Quzhou. We went there both in the evening and during the day. You can go up on the city wall to take photos. Shuitingmen looks especially beautiful at night, and there are some places to eat and stroll around nearby, but there's no need to buy anything. 2️⃣ Luming Mountain Cultural District has a super large lawn where many people come for picnics and outings. It's perfect for a slow-paced lifestyle and great for bringing kids to play and fly kites. There's also a distinctive red house nearby, which is a good spot for taking photos. And there are deer on the road! There's a special place where you can feed the deer, which is great for kids! 3️⃣ Songyuan Vegetable Market is a local market. We went there close to noon, and the whole street was filled with special local foods! The bagged pancakes were delicious, remember to add a fried dough stick! There are also special rice balls, roast duck, egg pancakes, duck heads, and so on. Basically, all the special local foods are here, and there's no need to queue for a long time. 4️⃣ Yaowang Mountain, a must-visit for those who love mountains and waters. Yaowang Mountain is truly a hidden gem with beautiful scenery and not many people. It's a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and breathe fresh air. There's also a glass walkway and a glass slide on the mountain! The glass slide is really fun! I suggest everyone go and try it out! We took a bus there, which goes directly to Yaowang Mountain, and it takes about 2 hours to climb. There are many other attractions, such as the Confucius Temple, which was not open when we visited, but it's expected to open on May 1st! Food section: This time, I asked many locals and didn't queue up at those super popular internet-famous stores. Their mouth-watering chicken is a classic and unique to their restaurant! The garlic shrimp with vermicelli is also delicious! And they serve rice in an electric rice cooker, which is really cute! 4️⃣ Little West Gate Pizza A pizza place opened by a foreigner locally! A 10-inch large pizza is only 33 yuan! I was shocked! We ordered the roasted chicken pizza, the most classic and delicious! 5️⃣ Quzhou Renjia Their dishes are also particularly delicious! Stir-fried pork, dry pot green beans with beef, and more!
