#springwander Shook! at The Starhill Dining in Kuala Lumpur offers a delightful spring Ramadan buffet this seasons, making it an ideal choice for spring dining this season. Guests can indulge in a variety of traditional Malay dishes, including rendang tulang rusuk, ikan garam bakar, and a tantalising whole roast lamb, all curated by Chef Rizuwan. The buffet also features a selection of fresh local kuih-mouth, salads and desserts, providing a comprehensive dining experience. The restaurant’s elegant ambiance, combined with its diverse menu, ensures a memorable spring iftar gathering with friends and family. 

#travelanywhere Breakfast is always a must for me as I am a breakfast person and it is my first meal of the day. That is why when I was staying at JW Marriott in Kuala Lumpur, I was excited to try out breakfast at Shook! restaurant, right at the basement of the hotel. I was greeted with an authentic Malaysian style nasi lemak, and nothing can get as local as a live roti prata station where a chef hand stretched the dough and pan fry it on the spot till nice and crispy. Other stations includes your bakery section with nice toasted bread and pastries, a cheese cart, local and international delights. It's an eat all you want breakfast and it's definitely satisfying. The only down side of Shook! is that the restaurant feels very dark and dim in the day. All else was excellent at Shook!

Had a fantastic breakfast spread at Shook! located in level LG at JW Mariott KL building. There are many food to choose from, mainly local food like nasi lemak, prata, kway teow, porridge, bread and others. Fresh fruits and salad also served here. Watermelon super fresh & sweet, nasi lemak very fragrant complete with two type of sambal (chili), prata is too tough. Omelette is awesome, generous in fillings. Sausages are normal, but the herb chicken sausage taste so plain (white colour one). Salad self-served.
