Store Visit: Shishi Nanmen No. 7 Courtyard (Homestay)
Yongning is an ancient town with a history of more than 600 years. The old streets, ancient houses, and foreign buildings here are worth savoring slowly, and you can feel the architecture as solidified music. The town has not yet been developed for tourism, so it may not be as beautiful and stunning as you imagined, but you don't have to compete with a bunch of people for photo spots, you don't have to worry about being ripped off by vendors, and you can quietly read in the courtyard. Those who like it will gladly accept everything about it.
Because it is located at No. 7 Nanmen Street, the name of the homestay is also very simple - Nanmen No. 7. This is a very distinctive Minnan foreign building, with architectural details full of Southeast Asian style, highlighting local customs.
The vivid water-dripping beasts in sunny and rainy days, the beautiful gable reliefs, and the flowers and plants in the small courtyard are full of vitality. Currently, the first floor is open to the public, with limited room types, and reservations are required. The second floor is only open to friends.
The courtyard is simple and clean, offering tea room cultural exchanges, a kitchen for cooking, quiet accommodation, and a quiet life.
It doesn't sell poetry and distant places, just enjoying the slow and quiet travel life here is enough...
It's not far from home, and it's very close to the sea.
Here, time and space completely belong to you, and the outside world has nothing to do with you. Here, you can ignore the outside world, focus on emptying your mind, and meditate. Sip a cup of tea, brew a cup of coffee, read a book, listen to the rain, and spend time freely.
In the morning, leisurely wander on the old street, look for old shops, and encounter the "half well" shared with neighbors.
Shuttle between the beautiful foreign buildings and explore the stories behind them. At dusk, watch the sunset by Meilin Port, and watch the stars move.
