#Travelwithme I've loved it for years, and I travel from time to time. It's been a while since I last went, and there have been some changes to the rules, but I still had fun with my friends. It's customary to go to Hottarakashi Onsen first thing in the morning, and then queue up. It was so cold that morning that I really enjoyed the onsen. It was so cold when I queued up to get a numbered ticket for the all-you-can-pack Shingen Mochi. The factory tour was spectacular and mesmerizing. I'd love to see the factory experience as well. As a driving trip, it's easy to get to from Tokyo. It was a relaxing trip~^_^

We will introduce "Kikyo Shingen Mochi Factory Theme Park" in Yamanashi Prefecture, which is famous for its Shingen Mochi. This theme park consists of a factory tour, an outlet, a souvenir shop, and a restaurant. The factory tour is free and is open on weekends, so it is perfect for sightseeing. You can also see the wrapping being done by hand at the factory, and you will be surprised at how fast it is! At the end of the factory tour, there is a souvenir shop where you can purchase products made by Kikyoan, but the one that sells out quickly is the ⭐Kikyo Shingen Mochi Kyoku⭐, which is an edible mochi that uses the packaging of the regular Shingen Mochi as the dough! This can only be purchased first thing in the morning, so we recommend going early. At the outlet, you can fill up your Shingen Mochi with as much as you want for 200 yen! However, you need a numbered ticket to participate in this, and this ticket often runs out at 6am, so if you want to participate, it is best to line up at 5am. It is a spot that both adults and children can enjoy!
