### Exploring Hiroshima’s Gourmet Food: Goemon Experience in Tachimachi Yokocho
Hiroshima, a city located in southwestern Japan, is not only famous for its Peace Memorial Park, but also attracts many tourists with its unique food culture. This time, I came to Tachimachi Yokocho next to Hiroshima Airport and visited a restaurant called Goemon, where I experienced the charm of Hiroshima okonomiyaki in depth.
#### Location Information
Goemon is located in Tachimachi Yokocho near Hiroshima Airport. The specific address is:
5-13 Minamitsujima, Minami-ku, Hiroshima City. It is very conveniently located just 5 minutes away from Hiroshima Airport by free shuttle bus.
#### Opening hours
The business hours of Goemon are:
- Monday to Sunday: 11am to 10pm
I chose a sunny afternoon to come here and found the atmosphere to be perfect for a family dinner or spending some quality time with friends.
#### Budget
Dining at Goemon is very affordable. A serving of Hiroshima yaki costs between 800 and 1,500 yen, while other dishes such as fried noodles and tempura cost between 500 and 1,000 yen. So, if you plan to enjoy a Hiroshima yaki and a snack here, it will cost about 1,300 to 2,500 yen, which is very cost-effective.
#### Recommended: Dalux Special Set
In this restaurant, I especially recommend their Dalux Special Set (ダルックスペシャルセット). This is a set meal that includes Hiroshima yaki and seafood fried noodles. Not only is it delicious, but the portion is also very generous. Hiroshima-style omelette is based on batter, with pork, vegetables, noodles and other ingredients added, and finally topped with special sauce and mayonnaise. It has a rich taste and a fragrant aroma. The seafood fried noodles are made with fresh seafood and specially made fried noodles, and the taste is extremely delicious. This combination will not only satisfy your taste buds, but also allow you to fully experience Hiroshima's food culture.
#### Summarize
My experience at Goemon gave me a whole new perspective on Hiroshima yaki. Not only does it offer delicious Hiroshima-style omelette and other Japanese cuisine, but it also offers a comfortable dining environment and friendly service, making you feel very comfortable. If you come to Hiroshima Airport, you may want to go to Goemon in Tachimachi Yokocho to enjoy a delicious Hiroshima yaki and experience Hiroshima's unique food culture. I believe this food tour will become a highlight of your trip to Hiroshima.
