Recently, the Parade of Gods in Fuzhou has become very popular. We went to Fuzhou for a vacation and joined in the fun. The Parade of Gods in Fuzhou is a traditional folk activity that has been passed down for hundreds of years in Fujian. It is one of the most representative cultural symbols in the southeast coastal area. Every year in the first month of the lunar calendar, Fuzhou and the surrounding villages hold a "welcoming the gods" parade, inviting the gods out of the temple to parade around the village, praying for good weather and peace. This activity not only carries profound religious connotations, but also has been revitalized in modern times, becoming a "cultural trend" sought after by young people. Recently, the Parade of Gods can be seen in Changle Village, so I chose the Sheraton Fuzhou Hotel, which is not far away. This is a resort hotel facing the Minjiang River, not far from Gushan Mountain, and close to the original ecological wetland park. The biggest feature is a 25,000-square-meter outdoor garden, featuring Southeast Asian island garden landscapes, which really gives a vacation feel. We stayed in a river view room, and the white corridor made us feel very comfortable. The room was also spacious. Standing in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows, we could see the rolling mountains and the Minjiang River. It was great to see nature in the city. The Caiyuexuan Chinese Restaurant on the first floor mainly serves Cantonese cuisine. For dinner, we ordered chicken stewed with fish maw and coconut, Min Nan tea king shrimp, fresh lily and black truffle fried cod, and lobster soup with rice. Every dish was exquisite and delicious. We had lunch at the restaurant of the Zhonggeng Julong Hotel. The roasted pork, XO sauce asparagus fried shrimp balls, black pepper beef ribs, and beef fried rice were all delicious. The executive lounge on the 17th floor is also a good place to relax. There is a happy hour from 17:00 to 19:00, offering light meals, soft drinks, and more. Tips 1. | Truly breathtaking. Sheraton Fuzhou Hotel Value for money: The value for money is great! Booked it for a concert in Fuzhou with a friend, the market price is around 600, although it's Sheraton and it's my first time staying in this kind of 'official' style hotel, but from the door greeting to check-in, the experience was pretty good. Apart from being a bit far from the city center, everything else was quite nice. The room I stayed in was a suite, which was very spacious. I feel the shampoo and shower gel bottles are too small, one person might use up a whole bottle. Room service was timely, and if I come to Fuzhou again, I would consider staying here again. Service: The check-in process was very smooth, the room was older than I expected, but the facilities and equipment were not as old as I imagined. The elevator and room card needed to be inserted, which felt very Hollywood. When I left, I mentioned that the ballpoint pen wrote very well, and to my surprise, they gave me one! I think this detail was very impressive, and the pen was indeed good to use, and it even had the Sheraton logo. Dining: The lounge serves breakfast, so they directly gave a welcome gift. Due to time constraints, I had a quick meal at the lounge. I feel that the Marriott lounge is genuinely good, and even though it's Sheraton, they didn't skimp on the quality. The fish was delicious, but it seems that there was no sparkling water available. The breakfast was also great, and the dining environment was very pleasant. Overall, the more I stayed, the more I liked the room. Memorable points: The opulence of the lobby upon check-in, the generous upgrade, the intertwining of eras with the insertion of room cards, the Min River scenery from the lounge, and the breakfast offerings from the lounge.

A happy holiday is always inseparable from a sumptuous gourmet meal. Before Christmas, I came to the Sheraton Geng Hotel and tasted the Christmas buffet under the stars. It was delicious, I just wanted to make a quick start.
