Used points for four nights, very cost-effective. The hotel asked in advance if there were any needs, I requested a sea view room and got an upgrade.
Location: Guantouling, a bit remote on the mountain, but it's quite convenient to take a taxi, Didi responds instantly, and it's less than 30 yuan to Yintan.
Environment: The lobby is particularly beautiful, the public area is not large, it takes a few minutes to walk to Guantouling Beach, but the sand is very coarse and hurts the feet.
Guest Room: Newly opened, no damp smell, but the balcony's hygiene seems to be neglected. There are obvious spider webs on the exterior wall connected to the next room.
Breakfast: Not much variety but acceptable, available until 11 am, noodles and congee are available, no service from Friday to Sunday morning, but on Monday there was a waiter to help pour coffee.
Buffet: Tried once, not much variety, recommend taking a taxi out to eat.
Overall, it feels pretty good, quite suitable for a vacation~ Just on the last day when checking out, there was a big bug on the wall from who knows where, scared me to death.

1. The hotel just opened in April 2023, all facilities are brand new, and the staff is very enthusiastic and attentive.

However, pay attention to personal safety as this beach is outside the hotel's premises and is considered a wild beach with no management staff. But it seems that there has been a dangerous southwest wave in Guangxi recently.
3. I am very satisfied with the hotel's service. They had prepared baby supplies (toothpaste, children's body wash, shampoo, face cream) in advance, so you don't need to ask the hotel for them.
4. Dining in the hotel costs over three hundred, which is reasonable, and the taste is good with fresh ingredients.
Disadvantages:
The hotel's location is quite remote, not in the city center, and it's inconvenient to take a taxi. We waited for almost 40 minutes to get a cab.

It's currently the off-season for tourism in Beihai, and I took this opportunity to experience the newly opened Sheraton Beihai Hotel. Located within the Guantouling scenic area, it's about a 30-minute taxi ride from Beihai Airport. To visit places like the old streets of Beihai, a taxi is also needed. Therefore, the hotel is more suited for those who prefer to relax in the hotel, swim, and enjoy the sea view.
🌴Stay Experience:
Upon arrival, the concierge was proactive in opening the car door and handling luggage. Before check-in, the hotel called to inquire about the guest's preferred room type and any special requests regarding the floor. Check-in was swift, and as this is a resort hotel without an executive lounge, the front desk upgraded frequent traveler members to an open suite.
🏨Hotel Public Areas:
The hotel covers a large area, and the main color scheme of walnut and blue gives a refreshing impression. The view from the lobby bar on the first floor is particularly good, with direct views of the sea. There are two outdoor swimming pools, but they are not heated. The Chinese restaurant on the second floor is worth trying, as it's ranked as the top Cantonese restaurant in Beihai. However, the hotel doesn't have its own private beach; it's a short walk to the nearest beach, where there's a very chill bar, perfect for watching the sunset.
🛏️Room Situation:
The cleanliness of the rooms is commendable, possibly due to the hotel being new. The rooms are not damp. The open suite offers a sofa that can be converted into a small double bed and a 2m wide bed, with a large terrace facing the sea. The room is also equipped with a capsule coffee machine and a bathtub.
🍔Hotel Dining:
The quality of the hotel's breakfast is inconsistent. We stayed for two days; the first day's breakfast was tasty with congee and seafood noodles, but the second day was average, possibly due to the weekend rush. The service may have been lacking due to the crowd. Additionally, there's a top-ranked Cantonese restaurant on the second floor, which is quite expensive but worth trying.
📭Conclusion:
I highly recommend this hotel. Currently, it's the most upscale hotel in Beihai. If you want to stay within a scenic area, it's a good choice. However, if you're planning to visit Silver Beach, it's not recommended to stay here due to the distance, which is over 20 minutes by taxi. But as a newly opened hotel, the facilities are well-maintained, and it's especially worthwhile to stay using points during the off-season.
