The Shenzhen Civic Center building is almost certainly the most Iconic building in Shenzhen, the huge sloped roof over the large arch in a pi symbol shape is truly unlike any other building. Located near the civic center subway stop and close to the huge 600m ping an financial building. The civic center building houses visa offices, government headquarters and a large cultural museum in which you can learn the history of China, see some exhibitions of animals, artifacts, art and more. There are two squares located north and south of the civic center, my pictures show the south square which is a large empty square with an amazing view of the civic center and surrounding city skyscrapers. At night there are various lights around the square and in the floor giving it a surreal ambience. This is a great place to watch the yearly light shows that are shown in the run up to spring festival for several months. Definitely a place worth seeing if you like modern architecture and the wonders of a modern metropolis.

#discoverchina Rare exhibits to see in China. This exhibit was showcasing rare artifacts uncovered from Pakistan. They are linked to the history of the Silk Road. Can you see the similarities? This exhibition was at the Shenzhen art museum during the summer season. It was best viewed in the morning when the crowds were less. The ambiance of the room made for a peaceful experience. Along the walls the artifacts were carefully arranged in order of the date and time they were made. The gallery curator put together a timeline using these items as puzzle pieces for the story of the expansion of Buddhist thought and theory. The exhibitions are located in the gallery at the rear of the Shenzhen Civic Centre. This gallery is open to all local and foreign guests. Open throughout the day, admission is free.

This old town has preserved a large number of traditional buildings, making one feel as if they have traveled back in time. Walking through the ancient town, I was captivated by the cultural ambiance, especially the quaint street snacks, which made me feel the perfect blend of tradition and modernity. Half a day away from the city, the ancient tree and mine pit lunar campsite is a must-visit! 😍 📍[Location and Transportation] The campsite is located near Guangzhou, only 1.5 hours' drive from Guangzhou, 1 hour from Foshan and Dongguan, and 2 hours from Shenzhen. You can drive directly to the campsite entrance, and parking is free. Isn't that convenient? 👏 🌑[First Impression] As soon as you step into the campsite, you will feel like you have traveled to a mysterious corner of the universe. 🤩 The cold wind blows across the barren land that looks like the surface of the moon. Although they are in a wild outdoor environment, staying in them is like staying in a five-star hotel. 👍 The large beds are very comfortable, and there are air conditioners, automatic toilets, showers, speakers, and more. It's very thoughtful. 🍜[Gourmet Experience] You can also enjoy tea and BBQ under the ancient trees. Went to Shenzhen just to see their lighting show at night. Happening on every weekend Friday and Saturday night at 730, 830, and 930pm. At my time of travel which is in October, the weather was just perfect. Temperature around 26c. The show lasted about 15minutes. If you want to get a seat on the staircase area, you need to ask the guard for assistance to scan the relevant qr code and register yourself. If there is any availability, you will be able to get in. Otherwise, it is generally just to enter the open square area. Though it is not elevated, you will see quite a clear view as well. It was so nice that I stayed for two sessions, 730pm and 830pm. Right next to the Civic Center metro station. It is just an amazing experience. I am in awe how they managed to synchronise 40+ buildings to put together such lighting show. #Shenzhen lighting show

Day 1 👉【Citizen Center】The government workplace, representative of Shenzhen, with Shenzhen Book City nearby, providing everything you need for eating, drinking and having fun. 👉【Lotus Hill Park】 is very close to the Civic Center, where you can see the entire Civic Center and the statue of Grandpa Deng Xiaoping. Day 2 👉【Coco Park】in Futian District is a more distinctive shopping mall in Shenzhen, very vibrant. Had the Hong Kong black bean chicken here! recommend! 👉【Shenzhen Bay Park】Come here for a walk after dinner, find a shady place to enjoy the sea breeze, and bring your own picnic mat if possible to lie down and enjoy it. The sea water is not very blue and not pretty, but the coconut trees are very photogenic at sunset. You can’t see the complete sunset at Shenzhen Bay, you have to watch it at Happy Coast. 👉【Happy Coast】is across the street from Shenzhen Bay Park. The atmosphere was great, with lots of kids playing in the water, and it was very crowded and lively at night. Large tourist attractions, comprehensive shopping malls, and all major brands. Day 3 👉For breakfast, you can try Shenzhen rice noodle rolls 👉【Judiaosha】Take E11 from Shenzhen North Station to the last stop➡️Take a taxi to 【Judiaosha】, 💰20 per person. There were showers when we arrived and the scenery was terrible. It became nice only when the sun came out later, but it was still far from what we expected. The sand was very soft and the sea water was quite clear. 👉【Yangmeikeng】💰10 Take a motorcycle for 2km to Yangmeikeng because the bus traffic is too serious. The environment in Yangmeikeng is so bad that I don’t want to come again. I didn’t go to Luzui Villa because it was too sunny. 👉【Shenzhen Planetarium】I came here by taxi. I wanted to see the plank road, but it was under maintenance and it was closed on Monday. 😑 👉【Xichong Tourist Resort】It is right next to the planetarium. I saw the sunset, it was really beautiful! The sea here is the best today! Clean and with a wide view. Personally, I think the sea area is better than the first two values. Day 4 At noon, we had Tongren Four Seasons Coconut Chicken Hotpot (Durian Coconut Chicken is delicious) 👉【Luohu MixC】A shopping mall with the old Shenzhen style recommended by Shenzhen people. There are many luxury stores. I just had a quick look around. The Vientiane shopping mall is indeed luxurious. 👉【Xianhu Botanical Garden】Walked around here for almost 2 hours and also went to Hongfa Temple. I personally like plants, so I love this place! ! There are also trees planted by Grandpa Deng Xiaoping himself. 👉【Qianhai Stone Park】Watch the sunset! ! Absolutely beautiful! Highly recommended! ! There are large lawns, coconut trees, reefs, and you can also see the Ferris wheel on the other side. 👉【Happy Bay】Take a taxi from Qianhai Stone Park for 💰10. It is similar to Happy Coast, but the difference is that you can see the night view of Shenzhen here. I personally think it is more worth visiting than Happy Coast.
