A Timeless Journey Through Korea’s Royal Legacy
#newyearnewtrip #travelanywhere #myitinerary
If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to walk in the footsteps of kings, Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul is the place to be. As the crown jewel of the Joseon Dynasty, this majestic palace is a stunning blend of history, architecture, and culture. My visit here was nothing short of awe-inspiring.
The moment I entered through the towering Heungnyemun Gate, I was transported to a bygone era. The palace’s sprawling grounds are a treasure trove of beautifully preserved buildings, each with its own story.
As I wandered further into the palace grounds, I was struck by the stunning view of Cheong Wa Dae, the iconic Blue House, peeking through the trees. This blend of ancient royal heritage and modern political history made the experience even more memorable.

Gyeongbokgung (Korean: 경복궁; Hanja: 景福宮), was the main royal palace of the Joseon dynasty. Built in 1395, it is located in northern Seoul, South Korea. The largest of the Five Grand Palaces built by the Joseon dynasty, Gyeongbokgung served as the home of Kings of the Joseon dynasty, the Kings' households, as well as the government of Joseon.#magic #koreatravel #palace
