Shengjin Tower in Nanchang.
Shengjin Tower, a landmark building in Nanchang, Jiangxi, is a tall and beautifully shaped ancient tower.
The ancient tower was built in the first year of the Tianyou period of the Tang Dynasty and has a history of more than 1,000 years. It is located in the Donghu District of Nanchang City and is a business card of Nanchang City.
Shengjin Tower has nine floors and eight sides, with a total height of 50.89 meters and a bottom diameter of 19.3 meters. The tower body shrinks layer by layer, forming a beautiful and straight style. The tower body is built with bricks and stones, with a gorgeous appearance and exquisite carvings. There is a spiral staircase in the tower leading to the top of the tower. You can overlook the beautiful scenery of the entire Nanchang city area from the top of the tower.
In addition, there are many historical and cultural attractions around Shengjin Tower, such as Shengjin Tower Historical and Cultural Block, Shengjin Tower Night Market, etc. These places are all places that tourists like to visit.
In short, Shengjin Tower is a bright pearl in Nanchang City, and it is worth your visit.

The Shengjinta has gone, which is quite normal, haha
I don't know why it's called Shengjinta, probably because it's a pun! Its real name is Shengjinta, which is said to have been named after a discovery during its construction: a buried iron box containing four loops of a golden rope, three ancient swords (engraved with the characters 'Dispel Wind', 'Suppress Fire', and 'Subdue Jiao' respectively), and three hundred Buddhist relics. Shengjinta is thus named and is the only remaining high-rise ancient building in Nanchang.
The scenic spot is not very big, and the tower is not very famous, but it plays a role in eternally guarding the city of Nanchang. The main activities include photographing the tower and climbing it to have a direct view of the thousand-mile road around Lushan Mountain and a downward view of the homes of tens of thousands of people within the city walls. At night, you can check in at the surrounding historical and cultural district, which mainly features Jiangxi's intangible cultural heritage foods, such as clay pot soup, etc. I went there before Christmas and also checked in at the Christmas tree and Santa Claus, and there was a big moon in the corner alley. The Shengjinta subway station is also very beautifully constructed.
🚇: Take Subway Line 3 or Line 4 to Shengjinta Station.

1. Tengwang Pavilion
Tengwang Pavilion stands by the Gan River and is famous for Wang Bo's 'Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng'. It is one of the 'Three Great Towers of Southern China' and a landmark of Nanchang. Although it has been destroyed and rebuilt several times, the current structure is a modern renovation, and it is hard to feel the ancient splendor described as 'the rosy clouds and solitary ducks fly together; the autumn water shares the same color as the vast sky'. However, it remains one of the must-visit attractions in Nanchang.
2. Shengjin Tower
Shengjin Tower was originally built during the Tianyou period of the Tang Dynasty and stands about 58 meters tall. Legend has it that during the construction, an 'iron box' was dug out from the ground, containing four coils of golden rope, three ancient swords, and three hundred Buddhist relics, hence the name: Shengjin Tower. It was rebuilt during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. Today, Shengjin Tower is beautifully illuminated by changing lights at night.
3. Qiushui Square
Qiushui Square is located on the banks of the Gan River, facing Tengwang Pavilion across the river. There is a musical fountain in the square, which, when night falls, changes into beautiful shapes under the coordination of lights and music, echoing the line from 'Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng': 'the rosy clouds and solitary ducks fly together; the autumn water shares the same color as the vast sky'. It is one of the highly recommended options for a night tour of Nanchang.

To the Golden Pagoda, you will pass through a food street, which is the most famous Shengjinta food street in Nanchang.
This group of moving sculptures is very realistic, reflecting the scene of the demolition of the old city.
Rock Golden Pagoda, located on the east side of Shengjinta Street, Xihu District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. The original ancient city was built outside the Jinxian Gate. It was built in the Tang Tianyou Period (AD 904-907). It is said that the only difference in the construction of the tower before the tower was built. There is a railway letter, there are four gold ropes, three ancient swords, engraved with the words "drive the wind", "town fire", "north". There is also a gold bottle, with three hundred relics, and the rope tower is named after it.
