My new favourite brunch spot is Shelly House in Bang Rak, it’s a cute and cosy place with a very interesting menu. Its Mediterranean menu offers options like hummus, lamb, and Turkish eggs - the highlight being traditional bread baked fresh in their stone oven. I like how fresh the food is here and the kitchen at the back is open and viable, you can smell the food as it’s being cooked. I’ve been a few times now and the service is always friendly and reliable even for single diners. We’re obsessed with their marinated anchovies and crispy Turkish eggs served with flat bread. Both were finger-licking good. Don’t forget to save some rooms for their dessert. Their sticky date cake is absolutely scrumptious. The interior is bright and airy, making it a great option for a fun weekend catch-up with friends and family.
