The complex is not just a single temple, but comprises five temples, four pavilions, and one pagoda, including the Ten Thousand Buddhas Hall, Amitabha Hall, Guanyin Hall, Cundi Hall, Jade Emperor Hall, Ten Thousand Buddhas Pagoda, Guanyin Pavilion, Wei Tuo Pavilion, and the Eighteen Arhats Corridor. Be prepared to climb up 430 steps and a steep path up the hill. Along the way, you'll pass dozens of life-sized golden Buddha statues until you reach the Ten Thousand Buddhas Hall. Although named the Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery, there are actually about 12,800 Buddha statues of various sizes here.
