The Leader Memorial Park is located on the mountains and ridges about 500 meters west of the former residence of the leader in Shaoshan. There are nearly 100 buildings of various sizes. The park, which integrates multiple functions such as memorial, education, and sightseeing, is presented to the world. The characteristic of the Shaoshan Leader Memorial Park is that the memorial significance is placed in the replica of the real object, allowing people to feel the historical process while visiting the park. The park has two major entrances, namely the South Gate and the East Gate. The South Gate is naturally extended from the passage in front of the former residence of the leader, passing the Guan Gong Bridge, crossing the Shao River, and going around the Shaoshan Mouth. There is an antique archway between the bridge and the mouth to guide tourists to the north, which is very consistent with the leader's journey from the north to the south. The park selects the humanistic and natural landscapes of each important period in the leader's revolutionary career, and is built in a reduced proportion. It is divided into five major scenic areas: Qingtang Village Color, Nanhu Hangying, Suoqiao Golden Autumn, Memorial Hall, and Comprehensive Recreation Area. The scenic area mainly includes 15 miniature attractions, including the former site of the Qingshuitang Hunan District Committee, the former residence of the Wuchang Peasant Movement Institute, the former site of the Zunyi Conference, and the former residence of Maoping, which reflect the glorious revolutionary journey of the leaders from multiple aspects.
