In the clouds and mists of history, there is a shining brilliance. This treasure town is perfect for a weekend trip when there are not many people there! ! You can visit most of the attractions in two days, and there is no ticket cost. The first day's route: Ningbo - Check in to the hotel - City God's Temple - Ancient City Wall - Yuexiu Road - Yue Opera Town - Yue Opera Museum - Huatang Ancient Town The second day's route: Chongren Town - Xiawang Town - Return 🔷Xiawang Town Mainly just to see the basalt rocks! There are 2.5 million-year-old basalts, which are geological relics from the end of the Tertiary Period or the beginning of the Quaternary Period. The Yue Opera Town is located opposite Shijia'ao Village, which is the birthplace of Chinese women's Yue Opera. Numerous stages have produced many famous operas. ► Route Recommendation Intangible Cultural Heritage Hall - Ancient Theater - Stage - Yue Opera Museum - Shijia'ao Village - Children's Playground ► Intangible Cultural Heritage Hall Turn right 50 meters from the entrance, and you will see the exhibition of all the famous local Yue Opera actors from Shengzhou since its inception, including the 90s-born actor Chen Lijun from Xiawang Village in Shengzhou. ► Ancient Theater A little further ahead is the ancient theater, where Yue Opera performances are held regularly, especially on holidays. It is recommended to queue 30 minutes in advance. We entered just in time and only got standing tickets! The performances usually last 40 minutes and consist of classic opera excerpts. The first floor covers the development history of Yue Opera, a grassroots art form originating from rural fields, created by the talented farmers of Shengzhou, and developed into the second-largest opera genre in China. ► Shijia'ao Village If you have time, you can hike to Shijia'ao Village opposite Yue Opera Town. The village is located in the Zhiyanban Mountain Ao, surrounded on three sides by Cangyan Mountain in the southeast, with the Shanxi River winding through the back.
