During our trip to Sentosa Island in Singapore with the kids, we chose the only family hotel in Singapore with a private beach—Shangri-La's Rasa Sentosa! We stayed for two nights and were continuously surprised, making both me and Xia Jiao sister jump for joy! 🌈🌈🌈 The hotel's white-themed design is full of style, surrounded by tropical greenery, making one feel as if they are in a tropical paradise! You might even encounter lizards and hopping peacocks at any time! Shangrila Rasa Sentosa Superb staycation at Shangrila Rasa Sentosa. Endless fun things to keep the children occupied whether it is rain or shine! The kids cool zone is where the kids club is, separated into 3 zones—art and craft section, a padded area with ballpit, slides, building blocks, bridge as well as an older kids section with a treehouse as well as games and other activities for older kids. Art and craft is enjoyable even for adults! There is something different each day for daily craft, for example, scratch art, sticker art, seashell painting, hat painting etc also has pipe cleaners, construction paper, glue, glitter, marker pens etc for you to enjoy fashioning various items. Craft and storybooks are available too. Breakfast spread is awesome, featuring international cuisine so there is something for everyone. Only wished we had more stomach space. There is also a kids section for kids to get their own food. Twin room comes with a bathtub and the beds can be combined, making for a comfortable sleep for the family. Comes with foam slippers that you can wear to the pool or beach. Swimming pool is huge and temperature of the water is well controlled, so it is not chilly for kids. There are 3 water slides that children can enjoy as well as a water playground that is so inviting even for adults. We loved it so much we quickly booked our next staycation there upon checkout!

The hotel has a children's pool with a water slide, various activities suitable for children are held from time to time, peacocks can be seen everywhere, and there is never a dull moment. The most important thing is childcare. You can throw your baby in there and mom can play freely. Children under 5 years old are in the preschool area, where there are some small slides and ball pools. Children over 5 years old can go to the two-story high slide area, where there will be staff watching the babies. When there are many people, there will be a time limit of two hours! There is also a parent-child handicraft area, where parents can accompany their children to draw and do handicrafts. There will be disinfection and cleaning time every 2 hours, and free access at other times. Shangri-La's afternoon tea is also famous for its high appearance value, and now there is another relaxing place for rest and check-ins. Tennis courts, gyms, spa facilities, outdoor swimming pools, and more can bring richer experiences. Convenient transportation, the hotel is downhill from the free shuttle bus to Sentosa Island, three stops to Universal Studios & S.E.A. Aquarium Van Gogh exhibition. Cable car is also available for island sightseeing. If you are hunting for a family friendly staycation, you should definitely check out the Shangri-la Rasa Sentosa hotel - they have this kids club with arts and craft activities to keep kids busy all day! We went there with the kids to check it out and there were so many fun activities for them to do - the first day was the colour foil art where they used the shiny paper to add colours to the art after peeling off the black sticker parts. The 2nd day, they had this hat making activities where children can make their own cowboy hat using the materials provided in the kit! There were many children and parents who enjoyed the activities there and the staff were friendly and helpful too. Best of all they even have a super kids friendly toilet so cute!

I have been working here in Singapore for more than five years and was only able to finally experience Singapore’s only resort with beachfront just now. I went there by cab but the resort is accessible via the Sentosa Express (Beach Station), Sentosa Beach Shuttle or the Sentosa Intra-Island Bus. Check-in registration was fast but my assigned room was not available right away. To make up for it, I was given 1 free drink to consume while waiting for my room (I chose tequila sunrise!). I also received cookies & an apology note later in the afternoon. I was also given wrlcome fruits and a birthday cake. I was satisfied with my room which has a very nice view of the sea. The bath tub has handles and handheld shower which I appreciated. Toiletries include bath salt. A point for improvement is providing chromecast capacity for the room tv or an accessible hdmi port. This resort is great for all types of guests - from single travellers (like me) to a group of friends or families. There are a lot of areas to explore in the resort - especially in the swimming pool area. There is a gym, spa and children’s play room. Different restaurants and bars to choose from as well. I like that I can access the beach easily. I went out for an early morning walk and wandered quite far (past the bungee jumping area). On my walk back, the staff manning the kayaks asked me if I was a guest. I had to show my keycard. I think the hotel’s beachfront is exclusively for guests. There was also a bar with beanbags at the beachfront which I did not get to try… must’ve been great to catch the sunset from there. Breakfast was buffet - bountiful!!! So many options to choose from. #moreinsg Located at the Shangri-la Rasa Sentosa hotel, the Trapizza restaurant serves Italian food right next to the beachfront which is a wonderful experience for diners to be able to rest and chill with a yummy slice of pizza in one hand while gazing at the sea. The wagyu beef burger was alright but I would recommend the pizza anytime over the burger. The Italian food served at the restaurant is super delicious especially the anti pasta appetiser platter which comes with salami ham, grilled zucchini, sweet cherry tomatoes and parma ham. The pizza is also chock-full of generous seafood ingredients including squid and prawns loaded with lots of gooey cheese.

The #shangrilasentosa pool view room is spacious and looks elegant and a great place to stay in #sentosa in #singapore They are located at the lower 3 levels from ground floor and while the name is Pool view rooms, many of the middle rooms face trees which are quite scenic anyway, the rooms at the sides have better view of the pool. You may also not be able to see the sea from the lower levels. The pool view rooms are better able to house families as the sofa bed can be opened up, there is also a nice balcony to sit outside to chill or even sun your wet clothes. They come with a nice bathtub which is glass enclosed, it is a bit small but good enough. There are two big jacuzzis around and they are still open. For little kids there is a kids pool at the corner for waddling and also a splash zone for fun and games. There are also plenty of lounge chairs around for lounging and tanning. Slots for swimming are two hours per slot and best to book online before you go. #magicalxmastrip We had our Company Year end dinner at Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa at this restaurant called Barnacles by the Sea. The restaurant has a very good view of the sea and it also offers a very good garden view with nice scenery, chairs and benches available as well. The restaurant can accomodate up to 150 pax. The food provided is also very nice and the buffet spread is scumptious, with all kinds of meat and poultries available for selection. This is a really nice place to host annual dinner and should be a good consideration should there be a need to host them.

Booked my holiday at Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa Singapore and spent time at the Pool bar. Was amazed that there are so many activities from Fun team. From morning to night, the pool is filled with so many activities, such as Bingo! The bingo was fun as you can win a drink (alcohol or non-alcohol), or an ice-cream. It is certainly kids friendly. Also, they served watermelon to guests!
