I visited the Foursagade, the filming location for The Eight Hundred, and walked along the Suzhou River. Although there is not much difference between the scenery on either side of the river, the wall peppered with bullet holes remains rather unsettling. This may be why the Foursagade is still there.

The full name of Sihang Warehouse is "Sihang Trust Department Shanghai Branch Warehouse". Sihang refers to four banks: Continental Bank, Central South Bank, Jincheng Bank, and Salt Industry Bank. The movie "The Eight Hundred" is based on the Battle of Sihang Warehouse, telling the heroic deeds of the "800 Heroes", recreating the war that was watched by the public, and inspiring the national enthusiasm for the War of Resistance Against Japan. After renovation, Sihang Warehouse has become a war memorial. The museum uses battle scene restoration, physical display, and other means to show the world the tragic history and remember the heroes who died for the country. Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday 9:00-16:00, no reservation required, free admission. Convenient transportation nearby, accessible by bus and subway.

Sihang Warehouse | It was also winter that year.
The Sihang Warehouse Memorial is an educational base that carries deep patriotic feelings. It commemorates a heroic and moving historical story that is still widely told today. The exhibits and explanations in the memorial seem to take people back to that war-torn era, allowing them to relive those difficult years. In the winter of that year, the brave defenders of the Sihang Warehouse built a steel wall of flesh and blood to resist the invaders. Their heroic deeds will forever be engraved in history, inspiring future generations to keep moving forward.

History should not be forgotten at the Sihang Warehouse.
🩸This is my first time visiting the Sihang Warehouse, and my second time coming here. After watching the movie "The Eight Hundred" last time, I was so excited that I rushed here, but I didn't notice that it was closed on Monday, so I ran for nothing.
🧑🤝🧑I didn't expect that after three or four years, there would still be so many people visiting here.
The day I went was a Sunday afternoon, and the sky was overcast. The walls full of bullet holes looked even more weathered against the backdrop of dark clouds.
💃One day in August 1937, there was singing and dancing on the other side of the Suzhou River, but here, there were only more than 400 heroes fighting alone.
At the entrance, you can see a big family letter. The exhibition hall has two floors, all of which are models and statues. Of course, if you want to know more details, you must watch the movie 🎬 "The Eight Hundred"

The Battle of Sihang Warehouse was a battle in the Songhu Battle of the Chinese Anti-Japanese War, which took place from October 27 to November 1, 1937.
