It can be walked by anyone from children to the elderly. 👶🏻👨🏻🦳 There's so much stuff!!! 🥟 Don't even mention the food. Go here, walk 2 steps and you'll find a Xiaolongbao shop, a famous barbecue shop, and many other Michelin-starred restaurants. 🥡 There are souvenirs, toys, and clothes!!!! The 100-year-old market or Chenwangmiao Market (陈王庙) is an ancient market in Pudong, Shanghai. Therefore, the shops have beautiful architecture in the ancient Chinese style, making it a charming market in every corner. It is perfect for photography lovers. But be careful of the crowds. The market has restaurants, clothes, souvenirs, souvenirs, toy stores, and collectibles. I personally bought some snacks as souvenirs, thinking I would buy some to take home. What a fantastic street and area - the buildings and layout make it feel really authentic and a great insight into the historical city. It’s a shame that so many of the shops now sell plastic tourist ‘tat’ but there’s still plenty of interesting stores along the way and fortunately none of the sellers are pushy or encouraging you in anywhere. Although it is somewhat commercialised I didn’t find it too much to remove any of the charm or atmosphere. Admiring the buildings in this entire area is a fascinating experience. It’s also central in the city to be in the perfect location for exploring other great sights, so there really isn’t an excuse for not passing through; it certainly was one of the highlights of my visit! #shanghaitrip

Actually it has been quite a while since I have gone to the Bund, but we made a sudden plan to go in search of the famous 🐈 cat murals 🎨 in Shanghai old street as recommended by one of our friends. But unfortunately, those mural walls 🧱 are covered for restoration. There are street-side shops with a few tables in front of their shops, and shops inside that are similar to food courts with communal seating. You may have to share a table with other people, and shops that are their own restaurants. There are a variety of food, including a la carte dishes, noodles, desserts, rice dishes, and grilled skewers that I would recommend. The grilled squid is delicious and costs 30 yuan, while the lamb comes in 2 sizes. We chose the large one for 35 yuan. There are 2 types of dipping sauces. You can choose or add both. #chinatrip Well lit during the night this place is worth a visit. It is amazingly beautiful with the lights. There are ample of shops for you to buy but more importantly you can spend time walking and enjoy the old town Chinese architecture. There are a lot of eateries available. And this place is easily accessible from metro. Shanghai old street is a must visit if you ever come to Shanghai. The views were absolutely incredible and the photos do not do it justice!!! There were many markets selling cool things and also many food options. I’ll definitely be back! If you do come, the best time to come is at night because the lights on the architecture makes it a million times better!!

They also have souvenir shops there with very reasonable prices.The area was really neat. I love history and the street had all kinds of interesting things to see and food to eat. My one negative thing is that all the lockers are only usable via a qr code and a Chinese app. There are none that just take currency. This became a recurring issue at many places in Shanghai for various services not accepting cash.

I highly recommend it. . . While waiting in line I secretly saw a shop on the opposite side selling 'Fried Xiaolongbao' at Da Hu Chun (大壶春), a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant for 7 consecutive years. 💬 So I had to try it. . . In short, it's very delicious. The filling is very delicious. It is considered one of the oldest shops here. 🔝🔝🔝 We came at 3 pm and walked around and sat in a cafe until evening.
