The hotel situated right next to Nanjing Road. I had a nice walking all the way to the Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, there have lots of nice eateries around the area. It also walkable to the Shanghai Museum, Yu Gardens and The Bund etc. This upscale and stylish hotel provides spacious and comfortable rooms. The room well-equipped with Marriott’s signature beds, it also featues great city views, especially from higher floors. Apart of that, Shanghai Marriott Marquis Hotel City Centre also provides fantastic dining options, the lounge offers a great breakfast buffet with both Western and Chinese options. Personally loved its Man Ho Chinese Restaurant(Award-winning Cantonese cuisine), the food was extremely delicious and making me good appetite! ⏩ Exceptional Service: Staff are super friendly, professional and attentive(multilingual support available). As a Marriott member for more than 10 years, I have always trusted the quality of the Marriott system. - The central location of People's Square makes it very convenient to go anywhere. Nanjing Road is just outside the door, and you can enjoy the scenery by just strolling around at night. The view from the high-rise rooms is superb, you can directly see the three-piece suite in Pudong from Puxi. I decided to have a relaxed weekend and booked a hotel at Shanghai Marriot Marquis City Center. The staff were very friendly and accommodating from the moment I arrived. When I mentioned that my daughter would be staying with me, they gave her a cute stuffed teddy bear. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was the best! There was a variety of dishes to choose from and the ambiance of the restaurant was delightful. The swimming area was my favorite! I spend a lot of time in the jacuzzi!! I recommend this hotel, especially for families.

AWESOME HOTEL! We booked an executive suit and the room is equipped with a spacious living room with two toilets with bath. The check in process was easy and smooth. The hotel's management also gifted us a bottle of wine and a platter of fruits as an anniversary present. We were so lucky that they have allowed us to have an early check in at 9 oclock instead of 4 oclock and allowed us to eat at the executive lounge right away! We did enjoy the variety of food for breakfast and dinner especially the free flow drinks from 5:30-8:30. HOW TO GET HERE: For convenience just take the didi from the aiport but you can take the Maglev to Louyang Road then you should head to line 2 to Peoples Square stop.
