The 12 places in Shanghai are as beautiful as paintings in autumn and winter with golden and caramel colors
Every autumn and winter season

Is a seamless connection of gold and caramel

Share from November to December
The 12 autumn and winter scenes in Magic City that you must not miss
📍Nanyuan Park
There are tulips in spring, sunflowers in summer, and ginkgo in autumn. Nanyuan Park will not disappoint you in every season
📍Jumen Road
Both sides of the road are ginkgo trees, falling leaves fluttering, passing pedestrians and vehicles have all become the scenery
📍Huangjin Chengdao
Enjoy the "ancestor" of ginkgo in autumn. Many shops have outdoor seats. You can borrow stools to take a few shots, which is quite atmospheric
📍Gongqing Forest Park
A treasure park like an oil painting in every season, the caramel-colored metasequoia and maple leaves are unbeatable under the light and shadow in autumn and winter
📍Fengxian Bay Forest Park
I like the Chinese tallow trees here the most! In autumn and winter, the colorful Chinese tallow leaves are scattered all over the ground, and there are large patches of caramel-colored Taxodium distichum by the lake
📍Qiuxia Garden
As one of the classical gardens in Magic City, it is also one of the most popular places to shoot maple leaves
📍Huilongtan Park
The Bai Niao Chao Feng platform under the century-old ginkgo tree, the Kui Xing Pavilion surrounded by metasequoia trees, and the colorful maple leaves on the river bank have painted the autumn scroll
📍Ancient Tree Park
More than 1200 years, the "first ancient tree" in Shanghai with the number "0001", the king of ancient ginkgo trees, the maple leaves in the park are also worth seeing
📍Huakai Haishang Ecological Park
My favorite park in Magic City! It's beautiful in all seasons, and you can't miss the top-flow "red mordant" in autumn
📍Sixian Park
The Roman columns at the east entrance and the church-like European-style buildings on the opposite side of the lake, like a painting under the warm sun in autumn
📍Qingxi Suburban Park
A park covered by water for one third of the area, the "water forest" has planted a large area of pond cypress, Taxodium distichum and Zhongshan cypress
📍Jing'an Park
The walkway covered with plane leaves, as well as maple trees and ginkgo trees, and the flower beds around are also planted with Zephyranthes candida and Viola tricolor, which are all beautiful when taken casually

It was my first time visiting Shanghai when my husband and I decided to visit the park far from the city center. It is difficult to find a magestic and quiet place like this in a big city, and it reminded me of home, a small town in Russia surrounded by forest. The park is very special because it gives a sense of peace and unity with nature in the overpopulated concrete jungle.🙃

Shanghai | Gongqing Forest Park is now open for free camping
⛰【Attraction Guide】
📍Detailed address: No. 2000, Jingong Road, Yangpu District, Shanghai
🚗Transportation Guide: There is no subway, the bus stop is Forest Park Station, it is best to drive or take a taxi
🕙Opening hours: 06:00———17:00
💰Ticket price: The ticket is 15 yuan, free of charge recently
🌟Highlights: 1⃣️The greening is absolutely good, the forest at the entrance is simply the most beautiful oxygen! Going into the forest from the small road, there is an immediate feeling of being 'ambushed on all sides'.
2⃣️We went on Saturday, free admission, it is recommended that camping friends arrive before 11 o'clock, you can still find a place, after 12 o'clock, not only there is no place for camping, there is no place for parking. The same goes for friends who take a taxi, the road conditions near the Forest Park will be very congested.
3⃣️If you have photography needs, you can bring your own props, but now there are many beautiful scenes set up with the chrysanthemum theme!
4⃣️The park is quite large, the play time is at least one hour, but I sincerely recommend to visit, breathe the fresh air of nature.
📌Small Tips: The air in the morning is better than in the afternoon

20°C Spring PLOG | A Solo Forest Picnic
Yesterday, the weather was great, so I went to the Gongqing Forest Park alone to enjoy some alone time. The park was filled with February orchids, the purple-leaved plum trees were in full bloom, and the Yoshino cherry trees had yet to bloom.
The sun was warm, the air was fresh, and it was quiet all around. I even saw a little squirrel not far away. I brought Sanmao's "The Story of the Sahara" and read it for a long time.
I recommend bringing a picnic mat and some snacks, drinks, and fruits. It's perfect for spending some peaceful time here with family and friends. Of course, don't forget to clean up before leaving!

Fall in love in this Park in Shanghai 🍁
In the middle of the bustling city, lies Gongqing Forest Park. This park is truly one of the most scenic and calm places I’ve ever been to! When we went in fall, the scenery looked like it was out of a k-drama 😍. This place is usually quiet with some locals doing their daily exercises there. It’s easy to get to, with public transport nearby. Although it is most convenient via taxi, which is quite cheap in China.

Amazing Gongqing Natural Forest Park
Gongqing Park is one of the largest and most beautiful parks in the city of Shanghai. Even though the location is not very convenient as it is a bit far from downtown, it is still totally worthy to visit. Get up early for this park as you might want to spend all the afternoon there. The forest is well maintained, this place is clean and fresh air is everywhere. There are plenty of scenic places to enjoy a picnic, so plan ahead and bring your own food. You can also enjoy a good walk or biking. One advantage is that there is much less people compared to many other parks in the city. They close at 4.30pm.

Gongqing Forest Park Shanghai Nature Bli
Getting There - I cycled about 1.5 hours to get there from my hotel but Metro Line 8 gets to a station close by. Stop at the end of the line 8 - Shiguang road and cycle or walk (20 mins plus+) to the park.. or better yet, stop at the Xiangyin station and take a bus 102 to get closer to the park.. It is worth it..
Attractions - If you like nature... then this is definitely a must - see.. They also have loads of activities like horseback riding, canoeing, amusement park with rides for kids and adults.. football pitch, an area for picnics... Awesome for a day getaway from city hassle...
Food - A lot of stores within the park to get water, ice cream, crisps and some typical Chinese finger snacks..
Address - 上海市-杨浦区-军工路2000号

Welcome to the Fantasy Flower Bloomings
Getting There - recommended by car or Line 8 to SHIguang and call a taxi later
Attractions - It's the best season for Hydrangea blooming in May. At that time the place is like a wonderland. Bring your camera and catch this fantastic moment!
There are also a few amusement facilities in the park. A good place for family or friend gatherings.
Food & Restaurants - there are some small shops in the park, but few restaurant in the park or nearby. Better to prepare some food and have a picnic!

Hydrangea season in forest park
Less than an hour ride on metro from the city center, Gongqing National Forest Park is my favorite park in Shanghai. The park is designed to be covered with different kinds of landscape with forest remains the main feature. More than 200 types of tree, total of more than 300,000 trees are planted here. From end of May to mid June is the Hydrangea season here, different colors of hydrangea can be found blooming around the park. This park is nice to visit in different seasons for different plants and flowers.

If you don't know where to go in late summer and early autumn, come here
It's September, the weather is finally not so scorching, and we took Candy to our favorite Gongqing Forest Park again! The park is now full of greenery, perfect for taking photos like The Wizard of Oz!
.
Walk towards the lake after entering the park, and you can capture stunning scenery, with reflections in the water looking like oil paintings. This time, we mainly took photos near the Liao Feng Pavilion, which is near the south gate. The light is particularly beautiful around five in the afternoon!

Gongqing Forest Park after the rain
A year later, I returned to Gongqing Forest Park on a rainy Saturday. I originally planned to take photos of Gongqing in the rain, but the rain stopped after lunch. So, let's take a look at Gongqing after the rain.
Entering the park from the west gate, I was immediately captivated by the beauty. Dreamlike glass balls were hanging on the lush camphor trees, and green enthusiasts were eagerly absorbing oxygen in the park. Walking and stopping along the way, I was still left speechless by the beauty of Gongqing. I think no one would disagree if I say Gongqing Forest Park is the most beautiful park in Shanghai!

Compared to West Lake, Monet Garden has a more unique charm
📸 Is there really a Monet Garden hidden in Shanghai?!
😍 Who understands! Compared to West Lake, I am more enamored with this Monet Garden that looks like an oil painting! Shanghai is truly stunningly beautiful! 🤩
In this city, there is a free park that looks like Monet Garden! It's incredibly beautiful! The flowers are blooming 🌸, it's breathtaking, and it's simply unparalleled! I'm really dizzy 😵!
📸 Shanghai Monet Park Travel Guide ❗ Don't miss it!
🚇 Transportation:
- Take Metro Line 8 to Xiangyin Road Station, exit from Exit 2, and transfer to Bus 102. After 3 stops, you'll reach the south gate of Gongqing Forest Park 🚏; or take Metro Line 10 to Yingaodong Road Station, exit from Exit 4, and walk about 1 kilometer to the east gate of the park 🚶.
- If driving, you can park at the south gate, where there are plenty of parking spaces 😜!
🎫 Ticket Guide: Shanghai Gongqing Forest Park is now open for free 🆓, but remember to make a reservation in advance 😯!
🕰 Best Time to Visit: The best time to visit the park is from April to November 🤩, when the flowers are in full bloom and the scenery is stunning 😍!
📷 Photography Tips:
- If you want to take magnificent scenery shots on the bridge, a wide-angle lens is the best choice 📷; for portrait shots, close-ups can better showcase personality and emotions 😘!
- The security by the river is very responsible, and the warning line acts as a barrier to protect the flowers 🚧. However, some people can't resist the temptation of the beautiful scenery and cross the line to take photos 🤪. But you can still find relatively ideal spots, just remember to respect the natural environment and not damage the flower beds 😝!
🚶 Recommended Route:
- Enter from the west gate, which is closest to the main attraction of the flower exhibition 😁. First, visit the newly returned "Monet Garden"; you can take the best shots from the small bridge 👀. Then, go to the nearby Camphor Square to check in at the popular Monet Flower Ladder, inspired by Monet's painting "Giverny Garden". The flower ladder is 8 meters long, like a waterfall of flowers, breathtakingly beautiful 😍, and definitely the hottest photo spot 🤳!
- Enter from the south gate, you can first take photos at the "Nemo Garden" 🤳, where the flowers are artificial but still very beautiful 😜. Then, go to Camphor Square, and after checking in, head to the flower sea near the east gate, where there are tulips, Icelandic poppies, California poppies, and more, perfect for photos 🤩. The scenery by the river is also great, you can go early to grab a good spot for setting up a tent and enjoy the natural oxygen bar 😆!
🎉 Other Attractions:
- Cherry Blossoms 🌸: It's currently the blooming season for hydrangeas, poppies, plums, February orchids, crabapples, and many other unknown varieties waiting for you to discover 🤩!
- Oil Painting Forest Exhibition: In the park, there are many exquisite oil paintings on display, allowing you to feel the charm of art 😀!
- Forest Mini Train 🚂: Very unique, it runs around the southern entertainment area, usually with long queues, and it's even more crowded on weekends 😅!
- Park Boats: Electric boats cost 80 yuan/hour, manual rowing boats cost 50 yuan/hour, and a deposit is required for four people 😯!
- Skating Rink and Football Field: Suitable for camping and family outings 🎉!
- Horse Riding Field: There is a 4-meter wide, 300-meter long track where you can learn horse riding 😎!
- Children's Playground: Tickets are 30 yuan, with activities like fishing, naughty castle, trampoline, and small slides, a favorite for kids 🎈!
📌 Notes:
- If you can choose to go on weekdays, try to avoid weekends and holidays, otherwise, it will be too crowded 🤦!

Shanghai Gongqing Forest Park is like a Monet garden that has burst into the city
📍Attraction Address: No. 2000 Jun Gong Road, Yangpu District, Shanghai
🚗Transportation to Attraction: You can choose to drive or take the bus, the subway is quite far, not recommended or take a Didi, driving is also not recommended, parking is super difficult, many cars are parked on the side of the road, not sure if they will get a parking ticket
👍️Must-visit Spot: Monet Garden
🎟️Ticket Information: Free
💗Other tips: It's best to bring your own water and food as I didn't see any kiosks inside, the operating hours are: currently in the summer season it's from 5 am to 6 pm, entry stops after 6 pm.
Shanghai Gongqing Forest Park is just too beautiful, the only downside is that it's crowded, which is not very photo-friendly, you have to find gaps to take pictures. But the whole forest park is quite large, other than the Monet Garden which is super crowded, the rest is actually okay. Walking around and feeling the breath of nature is incredibly beautiful. There's no food inside the forest park, maybe I just didn't see it, so it's quite necessary to bring some water and snacks. We ended up buying some fried skewers at a kiosk outside the entrance, and although it was incredibly crowded, the food was still satisfying, especially since we burned a lot of energy, the whole journey required walking. The admission is free, which is unbeatable, no wonder there are so many people. I even avoided going on the weekend, and it was still incredibly crowded. I suggest that girls who are very particular about taking photos either go early in the morning or a bit later. The operating hours are: currently in the summer season it's from 5 am to 6 pm, entry stops after 6 pm.

Shanghai||This park has truly become divine, a dreamy endless summer
||This park has truly become divine, a dreamy endless summer. This is the treasure park I can't stop thinking about, worth visiting over and over again.
The endless summer hydrangeas bloom in early summer, making it even more romantic.
The Bubble Forest adds a dreamy feel of a green fairy tale to the park.
Several lawns are currently under maintenance, with the main attractions being the bubbles and the endless summer.
Tour route:
West Gate - Flower Art Exhibition Hall - Eight Immortals Garden
Right after entering from the West Gate is the Bubble Forest, where bubbles of various sizes and colors are scattered around the trees, truly dreamy.
Walking towards the Flower Art Exhibition Hall, you'll encounter a sea of endless summer hydrangeas, a large and dense area. The winding fences allow for photos that capture the entire flower sea.
The Eight Immortals Garden diagonally opposite also features hydrangeas, mainly as artistic installations, with hydrangea cellos, giraffes, and rabbits. The garden also sprays mist, creating an ethereal atmosphere.
Tips for visiting:
Location: Gongqing National Forest Park
Festival time: The bubble installation will last until mid-July, and the endless summer blooming period is from June to August.
Opening hours: 05:00—18:00
Camping, no pets allowed

Head to the Gongqing Forest Park for some oxygen therapy
Let me share the first photos I took early in the morning right after the park opened. In the presence of such beauty, any additional words are superfluous. Just enjoy the live scenery.
The treasure that is Gongqing is truly worth recommending to everyone.

It's amazing that someone can take such a shot, capturing this!!
In the bamboo garden of the Gongqing Forest Park, on a small island, stands a proud Yaezakura cherry tree in full bloom, its flowers blazing like fire, in the peak of its blooming season. After four in the afternoon, the sunlight falls just right on this tree, shining through a thin layer of gauze, casting a hazy and dreamlike reflection on the scene.
In front of the camera, this piece of gauze seems to be the finishing touch to the picture, adding a touch of mystery and a hazy beauty. The image under the sunlight is like an oil painting, full of texture. Whether capturing the water surface or the shadow of the flowers, one can see the sparkling starbursts, which is really quite fascinating!

Shanghai's free park ceiling, the Gongqing Forest in May has become legendary
Shanghai Gongqing Forest Park has been in my favorites for who knows how long,
the Monet Garden in spring, and the sea of poppies have already reached the next level,
To experience the 20-minute effect of the park,
I deliberately avoided the crowded May Day holiday and finally came to check in,
Entering in the morning accompanied by the sound of birds was too enjoyable,
The golden light of the sunrise shone through the gaps in the leaves,
The mist on the lake was also illuminated so brightly and beautifully, just like Kanas,
Looking at the scenery at this moment, I feel that life should be romantic in such a place,
You don't have to do anything, just find a bench to sit and enjoy the moment,
It's very beautiful.

·
2️⃣Liaofeng Pavilion (Pictures 1.3.4.5)
In the morning at sunrise, it's nice to take pictures here, the sunlight illuminates the mist on the water surface, and it's really amazing to sit on the bench on the opposite side and take pictures.
.
3️⃣East Gate Flower Sea (Picture 7)
There are also large areas of poppies here, but it's not as good as in spring, the colors are more monotonous with large areas of red flowers, but it's still nice for portraits.
‼️【Travel Tips】
▪️If you want to come early to take pictures, the earliest opening time in the morning is 5 o'clock, don't come too early.
▪️The popular Monet Garden photo spot doesn't have many flowers now, so there's no need to come just for that.
▪️The greenery and the reflection on the water surface look very nice, everything is green and it's very suitable for camping.

Gongqing Forest was the god in ancient Greece who was in charge of the tension of trees, right?
On a whim, my friend and I decided
to check out Gongqing Forest Park at 5 a.m.
This place, said to be the pinnacle of parks,
when the morning sun penetrates the clouds
and shines through the forest full of branches and the lake surface,
the vigorous vitality and tension of trees reach their peak at this moment.

Monet's Garden in Reality | Shanghai Gongqing Forest Park
✨Shanghai Gongqing National Forest Park is free and open until six in the evening.
🚆Take Metro Line 8 to transfer to Bus 102🚌 or drive (parking is difficult) to Monet's Garden, which has been a popular spot for internet celebrities in recent years, located near the Camphor Plaza in the central-western part of the park, not far from the south gate.
Everyone feels differently, but I find it beautiful. Although it is actually just two small bodies of water, because it exists against the backdrop of the vast forest park, its oil painting-like colors, rich layers, and the integration of the scenery with the reflections in the water have conquered me.
Entering the park at 8:30 in the morning, the forest has a bit of mist among the trees, making all the scenery seem filtered.
In the afternoon around four or five o'clock, when the sunlight pours in, it's incredibly beautiful, like God's own palette. Choosing a sunny afternoon is perfect for photography.

Shanghai Monet Garden 💐 Gongqing Forest is insanely beautiful 📷 with a travel guide
I went to Gongqing Forest Park yesterday and it was super beautiful!!
The flowering season should last a while longer, so keep rushing over for the next few weeks!
Every step is a scene, and everywhere is very photogenic.
Seas of flowers, woods, lakes, lawns, pavilions, cherry blossoms, you simply can't finish taking photos
There are also football fields, barbecue camping areas, amusement facilities areas, slides
It caters to both adults and children, very suitable for family outings 👨👩👦👦

❤️ Travel suggestions:
🚗 Driving: The roads are especially crowded on weekends, and Jun Gong Road is very difficult to navigate, with dust everywhere and heavy traffic! It is recommended to travel early.
🚇 Subway or taxi to Shiguang Road intersection, go straight over the overpass, and directly to the west gate of the park.
⌚️ Opening hours: 5:00-19:30

Shanghai Gongqing Forest Park?!!
Gongqing Forest Park can be considered the park right outside the school.
Every time I go, I feel very relaxed and healed.
The 20min effect of the park is personally tested and effective~
In May, there are still fafa, hydrangeas, February orchids, poppies, azaleas, and roses blooming~
Hydrangeas are in the Hydrangea Garden.
February orchids and poppies can be found at the East Gate Flower Sea, but when I went there, the flowers were a bit wilted, so those who want to go should hurry haha.
Azaleas can be seen by going straight on the right side of the South Gate or near the Monet Garden.
Roses were encountered by the roadside, not sure about the exact location.
In the park, you can camp, barbecue, fly kites, play frisbee, enjoy flowers, go boating, and there are also some amusement facilities. Barbecuing is quite convenient, you can order takeout directly to the North Gate, and other tools can be rented directly!
Monet Waterfall is at Camphor Square, and Monet Garden is also nearby haha~
Entering from the East Gate is suitable for flower viewing, the South Gate has a cedar forest area with a larger parking lot, the West Gate is close to the children's play area, and the North Gate is mainly for barbecuing and camping.
I feel like every time I go to Gongqing, I can unlock a new map.
Repeated visits never bore me!
During the May Day holiday, Gongqing still seems to be quite crowded.
Avoiding holidays might give a better experience~
