#meetshanghai Established in 1992, Shanghai Film Park was created for the purpose of providing scenery for film productions. It offers a glimpse into 1930s Shanghai, and makes for a fun afternoon out - especially if you want to pose for some photographs! In terms of replica architecture, you can find: Nanjing Road, Shikumen buildings, Zhejiang Steel Bridge and more. There didn’t seem to be a huge amount of other activities or locations open - many of the shop fronts we saw were closed. The Shanghai film park shows how Shanghai looked like in the 1930s. There are not much activities or information about the area, nevertheless it is nice to walk around and get an impression of former times. For me the nost impression part is a reconstruct.ion of a railwaystation with an old steam train. An old telephone shop and different other shops are arranged very well, too.

Shanghai Film Studio, located in Songjiang District, Shanghai, is a filming location for the famous Secret Agent and Kung Fu Hustle. And Running Man was also filmed here. From Nanjing Road, Shanghai's main street, to Shikumen-style houses, everything from train platforms to dock scenes can be filmed here. There are still quite a few filming locations, so there are military control zones. But the site is quite large, so there's no problem. If you time it right, you can even ride the old trams that used to run through downtown Shanghai. From old billboards painted in oil, to various shops, churches, and European-style houses, the retro atmosphere itself is quite interesting. The highlight is the huge prop warehouse that houses old vehicles. You could almost believe that this is an old car exhibition hall, so I think it will have a significant impact on car enthusiasts. However, since there is no place to buy anything inside, I recommend that you bring some simple snacks. When my cousin and I were playing, we were thinking about scenes from "The Disguiser," from the Ming family villa to the White House, from Ming Lou's car to the train station where Ming Tai was sent off. The scenes were so familiar. My mom and aunt saw "Romance in the Rain." I think everyone has their own favorite scenes in the Chedun Film Park. 🌈 Highlights: Chedun Film Park, also known as Shanghai Film Park. It is one of the earliest film parks in China and a popular filming location for Shanghai period dramas. I have never seen Shanghai in the 1930s and 1940s, but this place basically restores the general appearance. Nanjing Road, Shikumen alleys, and concession villas are the highlights here. 🎟️ Tickets: CNY 80 per ticket 🕐️ Opening hours: 08:30–17:30 (last entry at 16:30) 💗 Other tips: Be sure to take elders who love taking photos. Two or three hours may not be enough. If you take children, they may not have such a strong sense of resonance. If you want to take a closer look, I suggest you allow 4 hours. The first time I watched this series was in 2011, ten years later. I remember I particularly liked this TV series back then, and I would turn on the TV every time I came home from school. Try visiting the ancient water city just outside the city. There are many shopping shops and cafes in the city. There is also Burkerking and McDonalds. Tianzifang is a nice place to visit for older style Chinese buildings and modern shops. 1 hour from the city is Disneyland which is open every day. And 50 minutes from the center is the Shanghai Film Park, where various films were and are being shot. The time of my visit was June to July, during these months it rains and is hot almost every day.

However, the entire performance is quite rushed and short-lived. There are stunt shows at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm daily at the Shanghai Grand Theatre in the film park, mainly featuring martial arts. Don't expect too much from the acting or stage beauty. The most authentically restored atmosphere is at the site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China, but my home is right next to it, making me wonder why I would come to Songjiang to see a replica The scenic spot of Huanghe Road, which is full of flowers, is not open, which is disappointing. Overall, the film park has become quite dilapidated, and the park has shrunk a lot. A quick tour might take about an hour, and visiting and taking photos would take about two hours... Maybe there will be a better experience when the filming locations are renovated. Lastly, parking is uniformly priced at 20 yuan, paid before entering. Given the current season, there aren't many tourists, so parking should be sufficient.

Shanghai Film Park City Walk. Today, City Walk has reached Shanghai Film Park, and there are probably many friends who still don't know about this place. It seems that 'Romance in the Rain' was filmed here, and 'Blossoms' was also shot here. There is an admission fee for this place, and parking costs about 20. It's necessary to spend half a day strolling and taking photos. Inside, there are many scenes of old Shanghai, which are quite picturesque. It's advisable to ask in advance whether the filming areas open for visitation are accessible.

The place mimics old Shanghai streets with its trams, building facades and old brick streets. It is a taxi ride from the nearest metro station so it isn't very accessible from public transport.

Shanghai Film Park is a vivid re-creation of history, seemingly transporting us back to the legendary Shanghai Bund. Strolling through, one can see the clanging trams weaving through the streets, vintage cars cruising leisurely, and rickshaws adding a touch of historical depth. The park recreates several famous landmarks of the Bund, such as Huaihai Road, Nanjing Road, and the Shiliupu Dock, making visitors feel as if they are in that era. Classic buildings like the Paramount of Jing'an Temple and the Great World are also replicated here, with every brick and tile telling the story of the glamorous Shanghai Bund. Unfortunately, the bustling scene of Huanghe Road is not currently open, but even so, Shanghai Film Park is still a fantastic destination worth visiting.
