Shanghai is filled with unique and new galleries. This one located on The Bund, has been a pop up gallery for a few months and is still there to visit until June 30th. The exhibition is an hour long, and is situated in one room and is designed using projectors. The installation has two pieces: “"Ukiyo-e Visions” and “Mutations.” and is linked to Danny Rose.
Tickets for the exhibit costs 158rmb for a ticket during holidays and weekends.
Both exhibits inside this room are completely different, one focuses on Japanese culture while the other gives an insight into the natural life.
Food and drinks cannot be taken into the room and currently a mask must be worn at all times.

Shanghai Exhibition Centre
Right in the heart of Shanghai one will see a huge Neoclassical building! Many people might wonder what it is? How it came to be such a prominent building in the Centre of Shanghai and why it’s still there.
The Shanghai Exhibition Center was built with the help of Russia and symbolised joint values. It held international events and political talks. Nowadays it’s taken on a new life and is used for expo shows and all other types of capitalistic ventures :)
It is mostly open to the public to check out the old architecture and I gotta say, this place is huge. it’s well maintained and looks amazing.
Pro Tip - make sure to check what kind of events are taking place. Sometimes there are many events and you have to buy a ticket ahead of time. Other times you would be able to walk in.
All in all I would definitely recommend this place for its cultural and architectural significance for Shanghai. A couple hours would be more than enough to check it out 😄

"Nothing is more explosive than the collision of creativity." - A quote from Jonathan Anderson
In the 9 captivating exhibition halls of the LOEWE Craft Prize exhibition, one can immerse themselves in a world of imagination,
these worlds are the source of inspiration for LOEWE's special collaboration series over the past 10 years, from sculptor Ken Price's studio in New Mexico, to the fairy-tale scenes hidden on the walls of Japanese Suna Fuita's ceramic workspace, they take people across time and space, spanning the globe. Everywhere you look is filled with spaces woven by John Allen's carpets, evoking memories of British natural colors, while the radiant jade exhibition hall is to celebrate the ancient jade carving craft and to release the imminent jade series, finally resting in the dreamy world of Studio Ghibli. There are also 3 exhibition halls dedicated to presenting the 19th-century British art movement and the works of Willan Morris, CFA. e Morgan, who are adept at creating patterns full of romantic colors and featuring wildlife as the protagonists, celebrating the charm of craftsmanship, and have all had a profound impact on Jonathan's design philosophy. The ten-year journey has not been easy, with romance, hardship, a perspective of looking at the world from the peak, and the courage to carry on the legacy, LOEWE's 'Craft Prize' exhibition well interprets the artisan spirit of the craftspeople.

Loewe's 'Craft is Everything' - The Ingrained Sense of Relaxation
Loewe's 'Craft is Everything' exhibition is located at the Shanghai Exhibition Center. Just a short walk from Jing'an Temple Station, accessible via subway lines 2, 7, and 14, the exhibition is free to attend. However, on-site queuing and reservation are required. I booked a week in advance through a mini-program and was able to enter directly.
Although the exhibition is free, it is much better than many paid exhibitions. Inside, the queue is orderly, and everyone waits civilly to enter the exhibition hall. The exhibition introduces the origin, history, development, and design philosophy of the Loewe brand, allowing everyone to gain a deeper understanding of it. The connection between luxury goods and the pursuit of life and the sedimentation of time is inseparable. Here, ancient and modern thoughts collide, and art is boundless. It is well worth a visit.

The LOEWE fashion exhibition is a sight to behold
The 'Craftsmanship Universe' exhibition's clothing hall presents garments that are refreshingly innovative, leaving one in awe of the designer's rich imagination. Any material, once processed through the designer's mind, results in eye-catching and sometimes astonishing creations. Due to limited space, we'll preview just a few pieces for a quick look. Observe the harmonious color combinations that are pleasing to the eye, and the bold use of tablet computers as decorations, along with feathers and other elements, making the clothes truly exceptional. Taking your time to enjoy the exhibition can easily fill half a day, and those who love design will find endless inspiration. Of course, interested friends should still visit the exhibition hall and scan the WeChat QR code at the entrance for free admission.

ℹ️ Brand Introduction
LOEWE, as one of the world's top luxury companies, was founded in Spain in 1846. It originated from a workshop established by a group of leather craftsmen, until in 1872 a craftsman named the brand after himself.
🌟 Exhibition Highlights
LOEWE opened its first boutique in Shanghai in 2004, and this is its first major exhibition in the city. The exhibition offers a glimpse into the brand's long history from its place of origin; visitors can explore the professional workshops where iconic leather goods are made through videos; and the numerous handcrafted series showcase LOEWE's unique design philosophy and style.
❤️ Featured Exhibits
The brand collaborates with many designers, and the most attractive part of this exhibition for me is the series of products in collaboration with 'Studio Ghibli': a huge leather 'Howl's Moving Castle', the 'No-Face' leather coat from 'Spirited Away', and character handbags and sweaters from 'My Neighbor Totoro'.
❣️ Exhibition Tips
1. Remember to book a specific viewing time for 'LOEWE Craft is a Universe' in advance, with a 15-minute grace period before and after.
2. On rainy days, umbrellas must be stored at the entrance. Be sure to take the number plate and collect it at the exit to avoid confusion.

This exhibition is worth visiting!
Actually, at first, I wasn't very interested in this exhibition, but after visiting, I have only two words to say: Worth it!
Perhaps it's because the digital image artworks in recent years have been too boring, lacking in originality, and failing to reach a certain height of artistry, resulting in too many mediocre works. They seem unremarkable, but the stories they tell are very well-crafted, and with the push of capital, their value is hyped up.
However, most of the works I saw in this exhibition are quite good, with thoughtfulness, creativity, and depth.
There are many realistic photography works that, through post-production, secondary creation, exposure, and the restoration of light and shadow, as well as the overlapping of multiple photos, have been given new life, revealing many philosophical insights.
The most impressive to me was a series of dance works from the Cervantes Museum, where the dancing beauties are seen in perspective, expressing the body language related to dance through muscles, skeletons, blood, organs.
In these art and photography works, you can clearly feel the emotions of the people in the paintings: excitement, happiness, sadness, melancholy, warmth, and the sense of vicissitudes brought by the years, childhood memories, and that familiar figure in a foreign land...

The combination of the tangible and intangible in plant art
This time, visiting the Shanghai Art Fair, what inspired me the most was this area. I collected seeds while viewing the exhibition, although by the time I got there, all the seeds had already been taken. But the concept is very good.
AI-generated digital animations,
combined with the music in the headphones
lead into an illusory art world,
which is then integrated with real plant installations,
adding an interactive element,
collect seeds to take home and plant,
such a concept,
from illusion to reality,
and then to sustainable development,
is indeed a great cross-boundary,
the combination of the tangible and intangible,
forming a closed loop of artistic structure.
What do you think of this plant-based installation art? Is it beautiful??

🐢 It's been a long time since I've seen an exhibition with such good reputation that I, the turtle, after being impressed, am still actively searching for more information to supplement my knowledge, and have decided to visit it a second time. Here are a few tips for reference:
·
🐢 First of all, I want to mention that children under 14 years old are considered as kids, and they get an extra booklet and stickers upon entry. After completing the tasks, they can exchange them for an elephant puzzle.

LOEWE at the Shanghai Exhibition Center
This is at the Shanghai Exhibition Center, where the Spanish brand LOEWE has invested heavily to create the 'CRAFTED WORLD - A Universe of Craftsmanship' global touring exhibition, which sets sail in Shanghai.
🌟 Highlights:
At the site, the exhibition space unfolds around six thematic chapters, with many exhibits making their first appearance in China. At the entrance, a dressing box custom-made for the Spanish royal family around the year 1900, unique in the world, has been specially moved from Madrid to Shanghai; on the other side, a guestbook on display clearly shows signatures left by Hemingway and the Princess of Monaco.
👍 Most recommended:
There are also many exhibits in the exhibition that are specially created for Shanghai, such as in a space called 'Moving Castle', where the brand showcases a special enlarged version of a series of handbags in collaboration with Hayao Miyazaki.

You have to admit, the Spanish have a real knack for art
What exactly is so full of momentum that it needs to be held at the Shanghai Exhibition Center with great fanfare? The Spanish have a unique understanding of color, with clashing reds and greens, a sense of place in blue oil paintings, a mix of Islamic style with Impressionist techniques, and Chinese-style porcelain glaze surfaces; each is effortlessly presented. The world of Hayao Miyazaki, pink pigs, ginseng dolls, pandas in bamboo forests, all come together to create a magnificent fairy tale world.

Shanghai | A fairytale castle with Russian architecture in the city center +1
| A fairytale castle with Russian architecture in the city center +1. I came across a photo of the Beijing Exhibition Center online🤣 and I thought, isn't this exactly like the Shanghai Exhibition Center!
Next to Jing'an Temple in the center of Shanghai, there is an open building with fountains and gardens, resembling a palace. It is now the Shanghai Exhibition Center, which often hosts industry fairs and art exhibitions.
💡About the architecture
♦️In the 1950s, the Sino-Soviet Friendship Building rose from the ground, marking a new height for Shanghai. The entire complex exhibits Russian classical architectural style, with elements of Baroque art integrated into parts of it.
♦️Centered around the main hall, the tower and the red five-pointed star soar above, with other buildings surrounding it, unfolding along the central axis, forming a harmonious and grand whole.
♦️Stepping inside the building, one can find colorful terrazzo floors, richly designed lighting, and colored stained glass, with Russian classical architectural style present everywhere.

Free exhibition in Magic City, Fujifilm Imaging Week
Exhibition Name: Fujifilm✖️Imaging Week
Location: Shanghai Exhibition Center
Time: 10/20-10/22, limited to three days
Free, reservation required
On the last day of the Fujifilm✖️Imaging Week exhibition at the Shanghai Exhibition Center, there were quite a lot of people. The free green bags were all taken early, but it didn't matter. The overall quality of the exhibition was very high. I spent a full hour and a half strolling inside. As soon as you enter, there is an immersive image playback. With the picture, music, and background decoration, you feel as if you are in the scene. With the change of the picture, it seems to go up to the sky and down to the earth, traveling around the world.
The exhibition hall is very large, with a two-story space, and there are many very visually impactful art photography works. In the final session, visitors can also experience the fun of shooting by themselves.
The Shanghai Exhibition Center itself is a very beautiful building, with Roman columns, fountains, and the appearance of the bust. A casual shot is like being in Europe, and I will come again if there is an exhibition in the future.

Shanghai Nanjing West Road punch card Raiders
Do you want to miss all the good scenery of the destination? Look at my strategy is right!
I divided Shanghai into more than a dozen areas, which is convenient for everyone to travel according to the area, all the places I introduce are unique scenery only in Shanghai.
This tour is to be introduced in the "Nanjing West Road"
2 3 Shanghai Exhibition Center: the most eye-catching, thick Soviet-style buildings on the elevated. Usually there are various exhibitions held here. Some exhibitions pay attention to the public number free ticket delivery, and some tickets are very cheap and can be used as tickets to visit. I went to the book fair, and the ticket for the day was 10 yuan (5 yuan at night). The interior of the exhibition center did not disappoint me, all kinds of gorgeous and beautiful reliefs and lighting. I really like the vaulted roof of the main hall and the onion roof of the front hall, but the one that made me shine was a magnificent deputy hall.
4 Portman Ritz-Carlton (1376 Nanjing West Road): On the fourth floor there is a nice looking spiral staircase
5Malay Villa (30 South Shaanxi Road): a very peculiar appearance The old bungalow, originally a private garden villa, is now a restaurant. From the overpass on the southwestern road of Yan'an Middle Road, you can overlook the old building
6 Gonghui Hospital Building No. 3: Hudak's works, beautiful stairs and floor tiles, have a sense of history.
789 Tongfu Building (No. 801-803, Nanjing West Road): It is an excellent historical building. There is a unique pentagon-shaped spiral staircase
Rong House: the old house opened by Prada after repairing it. The house is now open for exhibitions from time to time, but unfortunately I miss it every time I go to Shanghai.
Originally wanted to introduce Zhangyuan of Wujiang Road, it is a historical and old residential area, but this time I went to Shanghai and found that it has been demolished. It is said that it will be transformed into a cultural and scenic area. I dont know if there are fewer residents, and Zhang Yuans transformation after living is not the charm. When you travel, dont be lazy, take a walk and see if you dont know which days attractions are gone.

Mew watch exhibition let art into life, FASHION ZOO fashion circle
Saturday so hot days can not stop everyone to FASHION ZOO feel the passion of fashion and art.
This time it is still held at the Shanghai Exhibition Center. I really like this building, and it is full of European atmosphere inside and outside.
There is a special highlight at this exhibition. The world's top artists lineup, the panda-themed art IP, can be seen everywhere in the fat, colorful, and occupied the entire exhibition center.
Every time there are many well-known brands to participate in the exhibition, life, beauty, art, wear, travel and other rich categories, each booth is carefully arranged, very attentive. And you don't need an invitation letter to watch the fashion show ~
but because it is an exhibition for everyone, there are all kinds of people in it, which will affect the experience. Although a lot of content and works are good, the overall commercial atmosphere of the exhibition is far greater than art, and there is no good balance.
