Shangfangshan Forest Park in Suzhou.
There is a place in Suzhou that not only has the misty rain of the south, but also the ruggedness of the north; it has the tenderness of the south, and the boldness of the north. This place is Shangfangshan Forest Park in Suzhou.
In spring, you can enjoy cherry blossoms and azaleas here; in summer, you can escape the heat here; in autumn, you can feel the golden ginkgo leaves here; in winter, you can enjoy the snow scene here. Not only is there natural scenery here, but also human history. The place where King Fucha of Wu in the Spring and Autumn Period dug for the beauty Xishi to train sailors has a history of more than two thousand years. There is also the only large zoo in Suzhou, where you can have close contact with animals.
Do you want to come to such a Shangfangshan? Follow me and I will show you more of Suzhou!

Although there are a hundred million people on Shangfang Mountain, it's really a great place to take photos~
Today's weather is 26 degrees! It's really hot!
And there are so many people today!
But Shangfang Mountain is really! So! Beautiful!
It's worth the special trip from Shanghai by high-speed train!
Huge swaths of cherry blossoms, tulips!
Fields of marigolds and so many, many, many flowers~ It's no wonder it's called the 'Flower Festival!'
There are also many elementary school students out for a spring outing! So cute!
Really, spring has arrived! Families! You must come out and play! It really lifts your spirits!
But if it's too hot, be sure to stay cool!
I walked 13,000 steps today and took several breaks along the way! Be sure to bring some food and drinks to replenish your energy, otherwise, how would you have the strength to take photos!

After the May Day holiday, avoid the crowds and visit the 2024 Suzhou Flower Show at Shangfangshan Forest Park.
The flower show is set at the foot of the mountain, inside the Suzhou Botanical Garden. It feels like various beautiful grasses and flowers make up the flower borders, which are very artistic. There is a detailed text description in front of each work, introducing the design concept. It's quite worth seeing.

Spring in Suzhou has reached the next level
This is the romance of spring!
The Hundred Flowers Festival on Shangfang Mountain is like accidentally entering Monet's garden.
It's as if you've stepped into a world of oil paintings, stunning throughout the entire spring.
Every casual snapshot is beautiful!
Icelandic poppies, February orchids, daisies, surrounded by a sea of flowers.
Tulips
amidst them, it's like dreaming of walking into Monet's paintings! The flowers are currently in full bloom, magnificent.
Or the cherry blossoms, tulips, crabapples, and peach blossoms that are blooming right now.
Going for a picnic, flower viewing, hiking, it's truly enjoyable.

Go to Shangfang Mountain Forest Park to see the flowers on a spring day~~
I had two hours of rest at noon, and after a quick lunch, I hurried to Shangfang Mountain, just in time for the Flower Festival. It seems that every year's Flower Festival has the same things: tulips, windmills, and cherry blossoms, but these are enough! Only then did I realize that the phrase 'falling petals are profusely scattered' is indeed true. The petals of peach blossoms, cherry blossoms, and red plum blossoms falling into the grass create that 'pity-inspiring' scene. I feel sorry for the petals that fall and turn into mud, yet I marvel at the carpet of flowers spread on the ground.
Ticket price: 30 online, facial recognition with a garden card for entry, connected to the zoo, which requires a separate ticket

Can you imagine how beautiful Shangfang Mountain will be next?
To take pictures of tulips and cherry blossoms,
I unexpectedly encountered a large wall of hydrangeas.
It really has such a great atmosphere.
Especially good for taking pictures!
Not all the flowers are blooming yet,
but when all the flowers bloom together,
what a grand sight that will be?

Shangfang Mountain Flower Festival
The 2024 Suzhou Flower Show (Shangfang Mountain Flower Festival) is themed 'Nature Sharing, Garden Symphony' and is exhibited in the Shangfang Mountain National Forest Park in Suzhou. In March, the Shangfang Mountain National Forest Park is blooming with over a hundred varieties of flowers including apricot, cherry, peach, pear, and crabapple blossoms, sequentially opening their petals. Tulips, daffodils, and squills among other bulbous and tuberous flowers offer a diverse array, with vivid colors. Over 50,000 tulips will present themselves in various charming postures; in front of the Hundred Flowers Pavilion, a three-dimensional flower wall made up of hydrangeas resembles a dazzling waterfall..., the entire park seems to be immersed in a sea of flowers, bringing an endless visual feast to visitors.
The Shangfangshan this spring is absolutely stunning! Two more walls of hydrangeas have been added!
I almost thought I had arrived at the Camellia Hill in Jeju Island, waiting for the hydrangeas to bloom in April and May, which might be even more beautiful!

Mesmerizing & Soothing
A very catchy and compelling place with truly amazing spots for taking pictures .
Most importantly this place is away from the hustle bustle to inhale fresh air and to walk around.
The Nature there is truly soothing and the environment is very comfortable.

The ginkgo at Zhiping Temple on Shangfang Mountain has turned golden again
Shangfang Mountain, in Zhiping Temple, there is a ginkgo tree that is more than 300 years old. Autumn leaves, yellow walls, ancient temples, every corner is the best place for taking photos. The prosperous autumn color of Zhiping Temple is a victory in Shangfang Mountain. Every time I climb the mountain to enjoy the autumn, I have to go to Zhiping Temple to see if the ancient ginkgo tree has turned yellow?
Shangfang Mountain is now colorful and the autumn scenery is pleasant. Take advantage of the sunny weather and go for a walk quickly.
