🇯🇵Tuen Mun Kaifong Shopping Centre Japanese food
Since the renovation of Mountain View Shopping Center, it has attracted many new restaurants to move in, and Hanabi Fishing House is one of them. The restaurant has a full sense of space, the interior is bright and sunny, and it is decorated in Japanese wooden style, which feels simple and comfortable. I especially like the Japanese-style posters on the wall.
🔸Japanese pork barbecued pork ramen $88
A popular staple food choice, in addition to ramen, you can also choose udon. The soup base has 6 options, which is rare, such as pork bone, soy sauce, bonito, tomato, etc. I chose the pork bone soup according to my personal preference, which has a rich flavor. The barbecued pork is of moderate thickness, with alternating fat and lean meat. The soft-boiled egg is quite soft, and the overall performance is good.
🔸Cheese fried shrimp roll $68
🔸Salmon belly roll with chives and roasted onion $88
In addition to regular sushi and rolls, the restaurant also serves special rolls. This time, we chose two of them to replace rice and noodles as the main course. The cheese fried shrimp rolls are soft on the outside and crispy on the inside. I like the slightly roasted cheese, which is soft and fragrant, and the fried shrimps still retain their crispy texture even if they are not eaten immediately. In addition to salmon, the salmon belly roll also contains salmon roe, crab sticks, and green onions. I especially want to mention the scallions because I don’t usually eat them. I once wanted to remove them manually 😂 but I think the store must have designed it this way for a reason. As a result, I was surprised after taking a bite. It doesn’t have much taste but it makes the roll taste richer. Overall, both rolls are delicious and I highly recommend trying them.
