SHABESTAN Address: The Pier at Robertson 80 Mohamed Sultan Road #01-13, Singapore Ave. Price per head: S$60 to S$70 Pegged as "The Finest Persian Restaurant", this multi-awarded restaurant is a #musttry. They have indoor and outdoor dining areas. Inside, there is also enclosed area for private dining. They have an extensive menu selection. I love that I get to choose from their numerous beef and chicken dishes aside from the usual lamb (which I don't eat). If you like hummus, you must try to eat their Muhamara. Made from walnuts, pomegranate, molasses, toasted bread crumbs, olive oil, roasted bell peppers & Persian spices, grounded to a paste, it's texture is almost the same as hummus - but more yummy!!! We also ordered their Kashk-E Bademjan (kinda like Baba Ganoush), Chicken Kubideh, Bakhtiari Beef, Tekeh Masti (beef) and of course, their Mast (Persian Yoghurt) to go with all the meat! They were all delicious! Aside from their excellent food, service was great as well! Compliments to Ronnie who was friendly, jolly and attentive to our needs. He also thoughtfully suggested to serve our individual mains as a group dish so we can share among each other. I will definitely be back to bring family and friends.
