Thai fest
#shanghaitrip
Yes you heard that right; there's an ongoing Thailand festival 🇹🇭🐘🍛 in the town now in the middle huaihai road. As we were doing our daily routine walking, it's totally hard not to notice the colorful display in 'Niko and ...' place which did pulled us in with curiosity 🧐. It had a splendid display of products from Thailand on which specifically the trendy bags 🛍️ sort of made by paper grabbed my attention - these ones used to be the cheapest back in the childhood days for those who are less privileged but recently the reality has gone upside down that I heard even famous brands like Gucci are coming with such bags with their own touch on it ! Fashion is quite unpredictable for real 🤯#tripblazers#urbanexplorer

"Magic Citywalk" in Shanghai was spotted and the green house made me cry with beauty!
Today while taking a walk, I stumbled upon a green house like this.
Highlighting the shadows under the plane trees in the city center.
A walking route where you can grab a cup of coffee to go with friends.
From Aloha (Shaanxi South Road branch) to Umiya Beach House.
Passing by the coffee specialty store "Ops" on Taiyuan Road with its unique ceiling design.
Taiyuan Road/Yongjia Road intersection is where the green house is located. √
A vibrant scene is so beautiful! Remember to obey traffic lights when passing by and taking photos!

English bookstore in Shanghai
Myself and my partner cycled by this bookstore by accident searching for a cafe for lunch. We just had to go inside as the title of the store was in English and all the books they had were written in English which was the first we’d come across in China! The owners, Sissy and her friend, we’re absolutely lovely and spoke a small amount of English. They even owned a fat ginger cat called ‘Shakespeare’ which we found amusing.
The books were pricy and cost us 250¥ for two books (one which I enjoyed was a book of local Chinese swear words and sayings, which is apparently a popular buy). If you’re in the area, we’d definitely recommend a read of some classics! They even serve drinks at a discounted price if you purchase a book.

Holiday toasts !
As we almost have reached the end of the labor day holidays, it is time to get back in to the city life that once we used to. Yea, such was the feeling after coming back from a long holiday, so refreshing, and you forget yourself. The best way we decided to soak the city life was to start with the brunch on the lazy Sunday morning🌤️. As we heard there is another Branch of the very famous French brunch spot, we went to RAC II. It is located near to the IAPM mall, just some 10 minutes walk in South shaanxi road. We ordered the Avocado toast🥑, crepe and a cappuccino☕. All are super good, at a much affordable price. Now I feel like holidays won't be boring in your home city as well 😜#backtocity #brunchspots

Speaking of 中餐 (Chinese cuisine), the most favorite I would recommend is 小笼包 (soup dumplings). As the name goes, the best thing about this dish is the soup that's inside the 包 😁 It is sort of a takeaway food, that you can just buy and carry around to eat whenever you like it. Mainly it got popular to me through the Zhejiang restaurant called 外婆家 (Grandma's kitchen). It is truly a Grandma recipe with immense taste. If you are not good in handling chopsticks, just don't stuck it with and waste the precious soup; instead just don't mind to use your hands.
Another must try dish of 外婆家 is the beggar chicken. It's also cooked in the same way, with the amenities that a beggar could possibly have. A whole chicken is wrapped up in an aluminum foil and buried inside the mud, which then will be heated to end up with an extraordinary chicken you can ever have. 外婆家 has many branches in Shanghai & Hangzhou, my frequent visit is in the IAPM mall which is quite easy to find in the B1 floor. Have a taste of it people ! #tripfoodie #tripfoodieshanghai #chinesecuisine #deliciousfood

It's not abroad! It's in Shanghai!
🌈 I go to Shanghai several times a year, and every time I go, I feel fresh! My friends often think I went abroad when I post on social media! The exquisite buildings, interesting shops, and foreigners on the streets make Shanghai an international, fashionable, and romantic city...
🍁 Shanghai in autumn is even more beautiful and romantic... This time I stayed on South Shaanxi Road in the Wutong District, where many new coffee shops and popular restaurants have opened, making it very convenient for dining and shopping. I took advantage of the good weather to visit Yongjia Road and Wukang Road, as well as two old buildings by Hudec, the lesser-known Xiyantang and the former residence of Ho Tung...
💐 The small parks on the streets of Shanghai are also worth a visit! They are known as pocket parks by the locals! They are exquisite, small, and beautiful! You don't need to make any plans for a city walk in Shanghai! Just walk around the Wutong District, and you may come across a beautiful and interesting shop! There may be a delicious restaurant around the corner! There are surprises everywhere!
📸 Photo location: Mainly on Yongjia Road and Middle Huaihai Road

Photo 2 is a dessert shop on Yongjia Road;
Photos 3 and 4 were taken on Middle Huaihai Road;

I come to this restaurant every time I come to Shanghai. The food is delicious!
A Zhejiang restaurant in Shanghai that I keep coming back to|||A popular Shanghai restaurant opened near my house! The restaurant is fresh and elegant, with a classic style. Most of the seats are private rooms, and the environment is amazing!
⭐Chong'ao Clear Water Crab
One of the restaurant's signature dishes! The simple preparation retains the original flavor and locks in the nutrients! The crab roe is full and rich! The crab meat is firm and tender, and tastes amazing with crab vinegar.
⭐Fish and Lamb
The presentation is exquisite and makes you hungry just looking at it. The fish is tender and fresh, and the lamb is also tender and delicious. It's really delicious!
⭐Fruit Wood Grilled Snowflake Beef
The beef slices are evenly cut, tender, and smooth. The preparation is very flavorful, fresh, and delicious. Highly recommended!

A community canteen with a rooftop garden in downtown Shanghai.
There are more and more "internet-famous" community canteens in Shanghai. While providing more convenience and more affordable prices, they have also become "good places near home" with their "high face value" and multi-functionality. During the National Day, I went to check in this Wulixiang canteen. It has a beautiful rooftop garden. After meals, you can also go to the rooftop garden of Lane 550, overlooking the high-rise buildings surrounded by three sides in the distance, or overlooking the surrounding small alleys, enjoying the "small happiness" of not leaving Shanghai during the National Day.

Tipsy Map of the Magic City | SUP'S cocktail whisky bar
📷 In the bustling Magic City, bars of all sizes are blooming everywhere, each with its own characteristics. An inadvertent encounter may lead you to discover that night sanctuary that resonates with your soul.
🍻 This SUP'S cocktail whisky bar, located at No. 150 South Shaanxi Road, is a treasure I stumbled upon on my way home from work. The moment I pushed the door and entered, I knew I had come to the right place.
🌸 The bar is divided into two floors, the whole space is relaxed and comfortable, not noisy or crowded, making one feel very at ease. Each floor has a unique drink menu to satisfy the taste needs of different guests. If you really don't know what to drink, then you just need to trust the bartender.
🌺 The drink menu on the first floor is all hung on the wall, generally easy to drink and more suitable for light intoxication, with prices ranging from 68-88 yuan per glass, which is very affordable. The 'Rejuvenate' and 'For Cloves' I ordered are both slightly fruity sweet drinks, with 'For Cloves' being a bit more bitter.
❤️ The second floor has a warm British atmosphere, classic yet stylish. The drink menu here is equally rich and varied, allowing you to choose the right drink according to your own preferences.
👍 Besides the drinks, the bartender is also the soul of a bar. There is a bartender with Japanese-style long hair who is not only skilled in technique, producing balanced and stable-tasting drinks, but also brings surprises with each glass. Moreover, he is particularly humorous and talkative, very enthusiastic about chatting with everyone, filling the bar with laughter and joy.
🎊 Recommended drinks:
🌱 For Cloves (Homemade clove gin/tonic water/yellow lemon);
🌱 Rejuvenate (Sake/homemade carrot sea buckthorn liqueur/gardenia/homemade white peach oolong syrup/lime).
🌸 Whether it's the drinks, the atmosphere, or the service, SUP'S cocktail whisky bar does a great job. When you're looking for a place to relax, why not come here and experience it for yourself.
🎊 Continuously updating, if you like it, please ➕ follow and give a thumbs up👍~ Thank you for your support!

Free New Exhibition in Magic City| Take time to slow down and feel the breath
| Take time to slow down and feel the breath. "The greater the gravity, the slower the time..." Perhaps out of a personal feeling that everything around is changing too quickly, the artist wants to slow down the movement of this world, hence the creation of the work, the 'Slow Clock'
🕙 This exhibition also integrates digital art, showcasing new paintings, sculptures, and video works by artist Chen Ruohuan.
🌟 There are two larger groups of stakes in the space. The stakes are connected to different ports, as if blood has been injected into the trees. The screen the size of a mobile phone displays the vital signs of this tree-like organism.
❤ Upon closer inspection of the stakes, some have been planted with hair, inviting viewers to feel and accommodate the weak gravity between objects, and the soft and slow state.
❤ The walls around the tree stakes also display the artist's canvas oil paintings. Some abstract, dynamic and static combinations form still frames of images that are described in a freeze-frame.
🌟 The exhibition is relatively hidden and niche, with few visitors. One person can book the entire space, looking at the exhibited tree stake specimens through the vibrant green window, feeling the current plant breath, and time can really slow down.
🌟 Exhibition: 'Slow Clock'
⏳ Date: 2023.8.4-9.16
🕙 Time: 10:00-18:00 (Tuesday to Saturday)
📍 Location: Gallery Func
(No. 17, No. 19, Xinle Road, Xuhui District)

Jewelry exhibition in the subway
The exhibition at Shaanxi South Road subway station is a jewelry exhibition, what's different is that the designer's concept is also recorded, it looks like a picture book, very thoughtful. The real objects should have been there, but now they have been removed. Magic city is magic city, exhibitions are all set up in the subway.

Retro portrait photography, in the old houses of Shanghai, in the torrent of time, we always grow up, youth is a bright sorrow.
We stayed at a bungalow house at the weekend, Address: No. 3, Lane 39, Yongjia Road. The location is not very good to find, but after entering the door is completely conquered by the interior design style, there is a kind of winding path, and suddenly feels cheerful.
Indoor environment: elegant and warm, full of nostalgic retro charm, every place is exquisitely just right, not taking a few sets of decent photos can not stand up this night ~
chic bedside lamp, with aroma The dried flowers and the sensational radio are all interpretations of the designer's elegant aesthetic.

After I came to ORO last time, I really liked the tiramisu here. Recently, the Christmas atmosphere of the magic capital has become more and more concentrated, and the store has also introduced a Christmas limited edition, especially to try it again. This tiramisu disease can not be cured!
[Christmas Panettone Orange]
The store is inspired by a small story from a long time ago in the Italian town, adding fresh orange, chocolate, Disaronno liqueur soaked finger biscuits to make this Christmas excellent work. The palate still maintains a smooth, rich and delicate tradition.
Fresh orange is the crowning touch, the fresh orange scent is very warm, and you can't help but stop and stop, the deep Christmas taste!
[Prince boxed tiramisu]
This time also eats the British Earl taste, Earl of Ceylon black tea with bergamot, elegant aroma. A tiramisu, a latte, sweet and bitter, balanced. This long-lost leisurely sensation gave this weekend a perfect ending.
The store opened at 10:30, but it usually sold out at one or two in the afternoon, leaving only drinks. So remind everyone again, if you want to eat, you must catch up early! Early! Come early!
In addition, this time I found out! The store was originally in a corner, let me think of the most beautiful corner of Gulangyu, the red brick exterior wall camera is super nice!
