Conquering Winter Heights at Seoul Sky
Frozen Elevation: Embarking on an adventure to Seoul Sky in the heart of winter wasn’t a bad idea. The tower is fully enclosed hence travellers are able to avoid the icy wind.
Picture-Perfect Moments: Armed with my camera, I captured breathtaking photographs that portrayed Seoul's sprawling beauty from a bird's-eye view. Managed to capture a lot of self-portrait as well although tripod wasn’t allowed.
Lotte World Tower: Seoul Sky at Lotte World Tower is more than just an observation deck—it's a journey through the city's history and culture. The interactive exhibits and informative displays deepened my appreciation for the metropolis.
Top-of-the-World Feeling: Standing at the highest point in South Korea is a moment that makes you feel on top of the world, both literally and metaphorically. It's a chance to reflect on the vastness of the world and the beauty of human innovation.
Winter Wardrobe Essentials: Winter travel demands proper attire, and layering up is key. Don't forget gloves, a warm hat, and sturdy boots to ensure you're comfortable while taking in the stunning sights. Nonetheless this attraction has its temperature regulated.
Timing is Everything: Arriving in the late afternoon allowed me to witness the transition from daylight to the city's sparkling night lights. Timing your visit strategically can enhance the visual impact of your experience.
Beyond Boundaries: Exploring new heights is a reminder that there's a world beyond our comfort zones. Conquering the tallest tower in Korea symbolizes the heights we can achieve with determination and curiosity.
Infinite Wanderlust: Standing amidst the clouds while gazing down at the city below, I realized that travel is a never-ending journey. Each destination has its unique charm, and Seoul Sky reminded me that there's always more to explore.

Seoul’s skyline
The view from Seoul Sky was breathtaking! I recommend checking weather forecast in advance as some days in Seoul have super high level of smog/ or simply terrible weather during the rainy season. I booked this in advance for anniversary with my bf and was lucky to witness this amazing view! #seoul

Lotte World Seoul SkyTower holds the distinction of being the tallest tower in Seoul and fifth worldwide.
The Sky Observatory which is located on top the Lotte Worlkd Sky Tower is the only place where you can have a clear 360 degree view of the city's capital. On a clear day, you can also see as far as Incheon while atop the tower.
Aside from being a fantastic viewing deck, there are also plenty of activities to do in Lotte World. You can have a gastronomic feast with a variety of restaurants or you may also opt to grab a thing or two from the many boutique restaurants available.

A must try Sky Bridge Tour. So worth it to overcome your fears of heights. When reaching at the top , you will never notice that you are already enjoying the view below from the top though knees still shakig for those have their phobias of heights, but you are harnessed and fastened safely for your safety.

Seoul Lotte Sky Tower
A must-visit in Seoul!! A really interesting experience to go up to Korea's tallest building, Seoul Sky and enjoy the beautiful night view, located on floors 117-123 of Lotte World Tower, the world's 5th tallest building!
I was able to enjoy the art exhibition zone in basement levels 1-2, and learn more about Korea while waiting for the elevator to go up. I also got to experience one of the fastest elevators in the world, with a speed of 600 meters per minute. Super interesting experience as I even went for the Sky Bridge Tour.#fallingforfall #urbanexplorer #bucketlistreboot

Lotte World Aquarium donned up for Fall
🐠 In our previous Autumn trip to Seoul, we visited Lotte World Aquarium at the Lotte Mall.
Though it was small, it was nicer than I expected. There are many sea animals featured in different small exhibits and it was even following the theme of the season.
Interesting to know that Lotte World Aquarium is home to the largest ocean ecology tank, featuring 55,000 creatures.
Even if you don’t know Korean, I would recommend to watch the sea lion performance as it is really fun.
Tip-book ticket online for cheaper price and you can skip queueing up at the ticket booth and don’t forget to see the Beluga Whale 🐳

Seoul Sky Tower
Seoul Sky is the tallest building in Korea. Outside of the tower is the huge Lotte Mall. Going up the tower itself is very cheap, and when looking out the windows, you can see how small the city looks from way above. It also provides useful pictures on parts of the glass to see the distances of other landmarks of the world. And at the very top is a restaurant you can dine in at, while enjoying the view. #themepark #summervacation

Lotte World Tower - Seoul Sky - South Korea
Lotte World Tower is a 123-floor, 555-
metre supertall skyscraper that is yet the tallest building in Seoul, South Korea.
One of the most interesting tourist attractions in the city. Thought if you have a fear of height definitely not for you 😁
Magnificent views across Seoul city, as I am a BIG coffee and “height” lover so I truly enjoyed a cup of coffee on 122nd floor. The elevator ride was quite fun and FAST. 😲
despite the observation deck there is a huge shopping mall where you can find a lot of cafes, restaurants and brands.

Seoul Sky in winter
#traveldiaries
A quick ride in the elevator takes you up to the viewing floor, where you can enjoy 360 views of the city and you can walk across the glass floor.
For an added cost you can also do the Sky Bridge walk, which is 555 meters high. Closed in winter 🥺 We were so excited for that activity 🥺
A reasonable entry fee for a great attraction. You can enjoy a drink with a brilliant view!

Best spot to see stunning skyline of Seoul
Seoul Sky observatory in Lotte World Tower is a fun experience and surely one of the best spots to view Seoul skyline.
Surely try to get by sunset but keep in mind that it took me an 1h20m from the entrance on the ground floor to the glass floor selfie spot on the 118th floor.
The lineup to but tickets was quite long, so booking those online may be a good idea.
Place is super easy to reach by subway.
Elevator that takes you to the 117 floor is sort of fun, goes nice and smoothly.
the observatory itself is small-ish and crowded (over an hour standing in a line to get to the glass floor area that turned to be quite tiny) but the views are spectacular and with sunset light it was a great experience overall.
Tip: there are just 2 glass floor areas. One is overlooking the river and famous areas of the city, and so there's a long line to step on that glass and take a picture. If you walk further (the place is small, so it's really just a few steps) - there's another glass floor areas that is overlooking residential districts and is less visually exciting but there is no libe whatsoever.

Caricature art at the Seoul Sky
Visited the Lotte World Tower Seoul Sky on a Saturday at 8 pm. It took us around 1.5 hours to go through the entire experience. Surprisingly, it wasn't very crowded, and the waiting time was quite short, which made the visit even more enjoyable.
The views from the observation deck are absolutely breathtaking. The panoramic view of Seoul's skyline, illuminated by the city lights, is a sight to behold. The glass-floored Sky Deck was both thrilling and slightly nerve-wracking, offering a unique perspective of the city below. I imagine it would be even more stunning to watch the sunset from here, casting a beautiful glow over the cityscape.
One of the highlights of the visit was the caricature artists. I got a drawing from them, which made for a special and personalized souvenir. The artists were incredibly talented and added a fun, memorable element to the experience.
Overall, I definitely recommend visiting Seoul Sky, especially in the evening to enjoy the city lights. Whether you're a local or a tourist, it's a fantastic way to see Seoul from a new vantage point!

A view to die for ! 1,560 ft up.
Oh my, SEOUL !
🏯Attractions : It's best to book in advance.
Attractions visited:
1. Gyeongbokgung Palace 4/5
2. Myeongdong Cathedral 5/5
3. Myeongdong Street 5/5
4. Seoul sky 5/5 (better than Namsan Tower.)
4. Namsam Tower 4/5
6. Starfield Library 5/5
7. Gangnam style statue 5/5 ( play the music and
dance if you're brave enough)
8. Love lock bridge 4/5
🛌 Hotel : I stayed in Myeongdong Sky Park Hotel 3. rhe location as extremely convenient, there are seven elevens and other convenience stores less than a minute away , the subway is below the hotel, Myeongdong street is 6mins walk from the hotel. The room was cleaned and comfy, but small as with most hotel rooms in seoul. The staff were polite and provided good customer service ..
🚈 Transportation : is very convenient especially because of the location of the hotel I booked. I had easy access to bus , subway , taxi and airport shuttle/limousine . The airport limousine is 5mins walk down the street from Hotel Skypark 3.
From the airport , I took the express train and paid 11, 000won . To return to the airport I took the airport limousine for 17,000 won because I was too tired to take the subway to the catch the express train. p.s the airport limousine takes a longer time to get to the airport and costs more but it requires less effort and the drop off point is at the check in gate.
🍛Food - I had beef bologi, Ramen, Korean fried chicken. I didn't try a lot of food. I traveled solo and the portions were just too much for one person. one food , you must try is Korean pancake.
🛍 Shopping : You can get everything you need at Myeongdong Street or you can travel to Shinghe mall or lottle world Tower mall.

South Korea's tallest building 🇰🇷
This is SEOUL SKY. It is located on floors 117-123 of Lotte World Tower, the nation's tallest and the world's fifth tallest building. It offers a panoramic view of the Han river and the entire city. There are plenty of coffee shops and seats where you can relax and watch the sunset - if you're going in the evening. I enjoyed walking on the glass floor where you can view below. That was thrilling!
We planned to go here to cross the Sky Bridge, unfortunately, it is not open in winter. We prolly should come back to try it.

🇰🇷 Lotte Sky Tower
The tallest skyscraper in Seoul, it has an observatory and you can buy your tickets via online too. It will be best if you can go just before sunset and stay until sunset. This Sky Tower overlooks seokchon lake and also connected to Lotte World and has a hotel too. During special events, there will be fireworks on the exterior of the Sky Tower. The Signiel Seoul is the hotel which is connected and also one of the priciest hotel in Seoul. If you want a good photo spot, you can go towards Seokchon lake and you can take a wide angle shot.
