Not Iceland! It’s South Korea!
Upset about rainy weather, but amazed after seeing this!
If you visit Jeju island in South Korea, don’t miss its East. The Sunrise peak was formed 7000 years ago by a volcanic eruption!🌋🙈
And now you can walk around black lava rocks and view this astonishing beauty!
Foggy weather made it even more mistique and distinct from other tourists pics.
And how about that Starbucks? The best view from the cafe ever! Also try the black sesame latte and special Jeju matcha.

A Nice Place to Visit Near Seongsan Ilchulbong - Jeju Ojo Port
Jeju Ojo Port is a great place to visit near Seongsan Ilchulbong.
It's the filming location of the drama 'Welcome to Samdalli Lucky Convenience Store' 😊
Not only that, but it's also nice to take a walk along the Olle 2 Trail.
📷Photo spots at Ojo Port
✔️In front of the Lucky Convenience Store (currently an empty house)
✔️The breakwater with a view of Seongsan Ilchulbong
✔️Olle 2 Trail walking path

Parking available at Ojo-ri Office and Ojo-ri Community Welfare Center
Reflections on my two trips to Jeju Island, and why I want to go again!
🤔How long should I stay?
Looking at photos online, Jeju Island seems to be just some small houses by the sea that can be walked in a day. But in reality, it's quite large, about the size of three Seouls and one Xiamen. If you want to see all the beautiful places, a four-day trip is appropriate.
🗺How should I plan my itinerary?
My itinerary was mainly about eating, drinking, and having fun, without visiting tourist spots or shopping, but it was still quite tight.
Day1: East Line🎈 - Udo - Seongsan Ilchulbong - Sopjikoji;
Day2: West Line🎈 - Jeju Yeoyeom Village Resort - East Line Woljeongri;
Day3: Seogwipo🎈 - Tangerine Garden - Camellia - Hyeopjae Beach - Ollae Market;
Day4: Jeju Island Old Area🎈 - New Area by the sea.
📸The places that are particularly photogenic in order are:
Udo, Yeoyeom, Woljeongri, Seogwipo Hyeopjae. These are all seaside areas, with roads leading to the sea and windows with ocean views😍.
🚶How to avoid unnecessary detours?
Arrange to visit places that are close to each other, and try not to miss any. Reading more travel guides can help avoid taking the long way🤗.
For example, in Yeoyeom, BOMNAL, teamblow, and other stores are not far from each other, and you can arrange to visit them by chartered car on the same day🚗.
Woljeongri's mou moon cafe, bagel miseum, and the small dog cafe are also close by, so you can visit them together🐶.
🙅Aren't all seaside roads and small houses the same?
Actually, the color of the sea is different😜! The sea at Woljeongri and Yeoyeom is jelly-colored, while Seogwipo's is deep blue.
Udo is not very convenient for watching the sunset, you can choose to watch it at Yeoyeom or Seogwipo's Hyeopjae🌇.
👀That's all for my sharing! Have I attracted you😁? Come to Jeju Island and experience it for yourself!
📷Photo order:
1. Ruddy's Seogwipo Hyeopjae;
2. Yeoyeom;
3. Udo;
4. Seongsan Ilchulbong;
5. Yeoyeom;
6. Seongsan Ilchulbong;
7. Udo;
8. Seogwipo Hyeopjae;
9. Udo;
10. Lazypump next to Yeoyeom;
11. Udo;
12. View of Hallasan's snowy peak from Jeju Island's old town;
13. Slowboat next to Yeoyeom;
14. Small dog cafe next to Woljeongri;
15. Yeoyeom;
16. Teamblow in Yeoyeom;
17. Tangerine Garden and Camellia in Seogwipo;
18. Seogwipo Ollae Market's Beltfish King and Tangerine Rice Cake.

As I mentioned before my top 3 destinations within Korea 📝, here is by far my number one 🪙 !
📍 Jeju Island (year round, plane tickets are quite cheap from Gimpo airport ✈️)
I had dreamt to go to Jeju for many years but even though I traveled a few times to Korea, I had never been before. so when the opportunity to go with a friend came, we jumped into it !
💡 have your international driving licence and rent a car ! or then travel by taxi if you prefer but the convenience of having a car is amazing there.
Jeju might look like a big island but it is, without being. you can easily travel from one side to the other within a few hours, which make it super easy to travel around and discover new places. 🏝
On the pictures are one of my favourite place, which is Seongsan Ilchulbong. It's a hard 30/40 stairs hike, but it's worth the view ! ⛰️
🔥 tip for vegetarian, I've actually found a lot of vegetarian and vegan options to eat around the island. I thought it was important to point it out !
I'm hoping in 2024, I'll be able to go back to this beautiful place 💕
I plan on posting more about Jeju soon !

Three days and two nights in Jeju Island
Jeju Island in the off-season is a paradise for self-healing
This time I stayed in Yayue Village
A place where you can see the sea and the lighthouse when you open the window
The day I arrived, my hat flew off as soon as I got out of the taxi without any precautions
Put down my luggage and take a walk nearby
The wind is so strong that I walk two meters and retreat three meters
Decided to eat barbecue in the nearest restaurant
After eating, I went back to the hotel and took a rest
Took the bus to Ilchul Peak to watch the sunset
Hahaha, yes, watching the sunset at Ilchul Peak
The wind was a bit smaller at this time
The weather is not so cold, very comfortable
Came when it was about to close, few people, equivalent to a private booking
In the evening, I went to a popular restaurant that is the same as the one in the love series
The dishes are indeed very fresh and the prices are quite affordable
The lobster ramen can be said to be the ramen of my life
So fresh that it's amazing!
The next day I slept until I woke up naturally, it was a cloudy day
There is sun, but not much
Find a coffee shop nearby and have a beautiful breakfast
Why say it's beautiful, it's literal
Beautiful scenery, beautiful food
Then I took the bus to the pier
Boarded the ship to Udo
Wow, the scenery is really good
Without an international driver's license, I could only rent an electric bicycle
It's not bad, it's not tiring at all
But we sat down at the first beach
Never got up again until the return trip
The dong of the jelly sea is the dong of heart
The seawater is really like jelly, duangduang
Sitting on the beach eating a fish cake
The soup base is actually made of kelp, another little surprise
In the evening, I went to the same barbecue omakase as the love series
The meat quality is definitely not as good as the one I ate the day before
The main thing is to experience the different tastes of different parts of the pig's body
The service is excellent, just open your mouth all the way
On the third day, I still slept until I woke up naturally
Went directly to Xiaocai Beach to eat at the same restaurant as Gong Liu and Lee Dong Wook
The seafood pancake is fragrant and crispy, very, very delicious
Other dishes did not leave a stunning feeling
Although it rained heavily this day
But the transparency of Xiaocai Beach is not inferior to Udo
I also met a magpie during the walk
This place is so comfortable, I want to stay for a few days next time
Jeju Travels
#jeju
This is the view of Seongsan, also known as the Sunrise Peak. It is a UNESCO, World Natural Heritage Site. It is more accessible by car as buses are infrequent and the timings are unreliable. Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone rose 180 meters above sea level due to a magma flow under the sea over 5,000 years ago. The crater is about 600 meters in diameter and 90 meters deep. It takes around 50 minutes for a round trip up and down the mountain. However, it requires a fee to hike. The view from the free zone is also amazing! Worth it.
Jeju Island is a must-visit.
Jeju Island should be a very representative place for Korean tourism. Although Jeju Island is not very big, there are many interesting places. Here is a collection of attractions that I think are recommended and not recommended:
recommend:
Seongsan Ilchulbong: An excellent place overlooking the city and sea, and also a good place to enjoy the sunrise over the sea. If you come to play in spring, you can also see rapeseed flowers all over the mountains and plains, which is very good.
Niu Island: An outlying island with coral sand beaches, the sea water is rich in color and the water quality is very clear. It is recommended to drive around the island, or you can take the tourist cycle bus on the island.
The tiger never leaves: The filming location of "Love Wind, Love Song" and the large reed field along the way are very suitable for taking beautiful photos with strong autumn atmosphere.
Halla Mountain: Spring and autumn are the most suitable seasons for sightseeing. There are azaleas in spring and red leaves in autumn. If you go in winter, the mountains are mostly ice and snow roads, but they also have a special flavor.
The ground can be supported: one side is a cliff and the other is the ocean, and the path leading to the lighthouse is very beautiful.
Columnar joint belt: It is a spectacle formed by the high-temperature lava from volcanic eruptions meeting the icy sea water. The seaside scenery is beautiful, and fishermen and divers can be seen fishing from time to time.
Cherry Blossom Avenue: When the cherry blossoms bloom in early April every year, a cultural festival will be held here. The pink and white cherry blossoms are falling with the wind, which is super beautiful.
Not recommended
Hello Kitty Theme Park: Maybe girls or children will like it more, but there is no other place to play except for taking pictures, and I don’t have so many hearts, I think this place is not worth spending half a day Play.
Teddy Bear Museum: In the past, there was only one teddy bear museum in Jeju Island, and you could come and check in, but there are many museums of this type in the future, so it is not very interesting.
Believe it or not Museum: If I remember correctly, there seems to be a similar one in Thailand. We were bored after shopping for half an hour, so we could only take pictures inside.
Tiandizhou Waterfall: If you have seen many shocking waterfalls, you will feel quite disappointed when you see such a waterfall.
Longtouyan: It is already a must-see place for traveling in the country. In fact, the scenic spot is very small, and there are people everywhere who took pictures of this visit.
Nanta Show & Graffiti Show:
Whether this form of performance is worth watching, I think it is a matter of opinion, but I personally feel that I am not very able to get a laugh.
Seongsan Ilchulbong Sunrise Peak
Seongsan Ilchulbong#Seongsan Ilchulbong is one of the attraction that you must visit in Jeju Island, South Korea. It is known as "Sunrise Peak" and is a UNESCO world heritage site.
This place is known for its magnificent sunrise view. Seonsan Ilchulbong rose from under the sea in a volcanic eruption over 100,000 years ago.
If you are in Jeju and wants to catch the Sunrise, do check the sunrise timing and plan your itinerary in advance and your set off time.
To hike to the peak, it will take roughly about 20 to 30mins. Although you are setting off in the early morning, there is no need to worry about the hiking route. The hike up is mainly steps and there is well-managed walking path.
We travelled during the winter season and it was manageable. However do bring along your jacket as the hike up could be rather chilly.
However, we are rather unlucky due to the cloudy day but it was still a good workout. After you are done with peak, the way down there was also many scenic view for photo taking.
Overall, it is a must-visit place at Jeju!
Instagramable cafe with a view
Dubbed as the cafe with staircase to heaven, this cafe is definitely one that is the most instagramable.
Even it is no longer summer in Jeju, the intense sun of the island still remains rather unforgiving, so I would advise you to either seek refuge in either the second floor of the cafe or one of the sunshade umbrella and enjoy the therapeutic sounds and sights of the waves hit the shores
#afternoontea
Seongsan Ilchulbang
Seongsan Ilchulbong is probably the next most famous hiking area after Hallasan. The climb up is not long about 30-45 minutes but the steps are steep.
This place use to be a volcano about 5000 years ago and have been featured by a lot of films and dramas.
At the peak you will see the amazing side of geography because this place use to be a separate island! But over time the build up of sand and soil has made it become one with mainland.
It is said that many people wakes up early in the morning to catch the sunrise here.

Sunrise Peak at Jeju!
Seongsan Ilchulbong also known at Sunrise Peak - the East end of Jeju Island, Korea, perfect for catching stunning orange sunrise! #jeju
Seongsan Ilchulbong Sunrise Peak in Jeju
Tuff volcano located in eastern Jeju Island about 180+ metres in height, a famous spot to catch sunrise, weather permitting of course, which unfortunately was shrouded in fog when I was there in mid June. Many flights of stairs, twisting and turning to reach the peak which affords panoramic, bird's eye view of Seongsan town below, the shimmering blue seas of Jeju and Udo island, another famous attraction in the distance.
There is also the famous Haenyo, Jeju women free form divers performance, mostly elderly women now who dive into the bountiful seas of Jeju to harvest treasures like the prized Abalone, sea urchin and other seafood, speaking of which the famed Abalone porridge is a must try while here, perhaps with a protein like freshly caught mackerel for a complete meal.
Located on the eastern end of Jeju Island, about an hour and a half drive from Jeju city, sits Seongsan Ilchulbong; otherwise known as Sunrise or Sunset Peak. Now considered to be one of the new 7 wonders of nature, Sunset Peak, as we will refer to it, was also declared a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site with it’s incredible 600m diameter crater at its highest point.
When you walk into the vicinity of Sunset Peak, you’ll find a number of tourist-catered cafes and shops catering to the groups of tourists that now flock to the area, whilst panoramic views await you just a further few steps away. What’s more, if you’re visiting Sunset Peak around 1:30 or 3pm, you can catch a glimpse of the Haenyo Divers – local Jeju women diving into the waters to catch fresh abalone, octopus or crabs. There’s a trail opposite the main hike that will lead you down to the island’s bay, where you can perch yourselves and watch the divers disappear into the green waters, or hop on a boat and take a quick ride around the area.

Michaela (@uncoveringcities) However the day I went there was not a sunny day I am satisfied with what I get in-front of my eyes 👀. I feel relaxed and I completely forget all my hectic schedule for a while as I completely get drenched inside it.
Actually Breathe Taking
The sunrise peak of Seongsan in Jeju Island is very nice. Climbing slowly along the stone stairs to the top of the mountain, you can see the beautiful scenery, which is worth taking a long time to visit. 💘
Lots of snacks, souvenirs, cafes and more at the foot of the mountain. Here you can drive to Udo Island's pier within 10 minutes.
#happynewyear
The famous Seongsan Ilchulbong or must known as The Sunrise Peak. Unfortunately I was kot able to watch the sunrise here because it was too far from my hotel but even theres no sunrise, I must say that it was worth to visit anytime! And dint forget to try their peanut and marshmallow ice cream! It was the best.
Certainly a must-visit destination in Jeju! Soak yourself in the impressive view of this UNESCO heritage site. We came on the first Monday of the month, and unfortunately the paid trail to the peak is closed. Blessing in disguise is that portion of the trail is open free to the public though it only brings us to mid-way - perfect for those who find it too challenging to climb to the top. Don’t miss the women divers show which is on the left trail, at the foot of Seongsan Ilchulbong. Showtimes are 1.30 and 3pm. It’s complimentary. And you can choose to buy and eat fresh abalone at the little restaurant. Overall a truly relaxing and uplifting experience!

✅ Beautiful prices, with an average of 100+ you can stay in a beachside hotel
✅ The seaside climate is so comfortable, with island temperatures around 20 degrees, you can enjoy the freedom of dressing

.
🌈 Recommended 3-day 2-night itinerary for Jeju Island
Day-1️⃣: Airport-➡️ Hyeopjae Beach➡️ Woljeongri
Day-2️⃣: Seongsan Ilchulbong➡️ Udo➡️ Sopjikoji
Day-3️⃣: Jeju City➡️ Aewol-eup
.
📸 Must-visit spots in Jeju Island
1️⃣ Seongsan Ilchulbong
To see the sunrise at Seongsan Ilchulbong, I stayed nearby on purpose
In the early morning, walking towards the peak along the seaside canola flowers, watching the sun rise bit by bit from the sea
The classic seaside boardwalk spot doesn't require an entrance fee, and it's less crowded in the morning, so you can take photos freely
2️⃣ Hyeopjae Beach
I stayed in Hyeopjae for two nights this time, and I want to stay here again next time I come to Jeju Island
The endless jelly sea is really super beautiful!!
The row of hotels by the beach, with an average of 100+ you can have! The cost-performance ratio is maxed out!
3️⃣ Woljeongri Beach
It's a half-hour bus ride from Hyeopjae Beach to Woljeongri, a beach full of windmills
The row of coffee shops by the beach, each one is full of design sense!
Of course, almost everyone will go to 【mou moon cafe】 to check in
4️⃣ Udo
Believe me, if the weather is good, you really need to spend a whole day on Udo!!
The round-trip ferry costs ten thousand Korean won, accompanied by seagulls all the way
Rent an electric-assist bicycle for another ten thousand Korean won, and cycle around the island
Every frame is really a photo of life!
5️⃣ Aewol-eup Resort
The Aewol-eup beach on the west line is a must-visit, not far from the city center and the airport
The jelly sea here is really shocking even on cloudy days!
You can also experience paddling a glass boat on the sea, which is really unbeatably romantic!
6️⃣ Lazy pump
This cafe in Aewol-eup really epitomizes the Korean-style ruin atmosphere
On the way there, you always feel, why is it so desolate?
But once you arrive, you find that the design sense and scenery composition are too perfect!

⭐️ 2024 Jeju Island Travel Guide
🚌 You can take buses all over Jeju Island, but you need to allow enough time, often just waiting can take more than half an hour
💰 The common payment methods are still visa/master, many small shops and non-internet-famous shops don't support UnionPay and zfb, vx much
💳 It's recommended to get a wowpss card, which can be used as a prepaid consumption card and also as a bus card, and can be used wherever cards are accepted
🚗 If you are in a group, taking a taxi or chartering a car in Jeju Island is convenient and cost-effective, especially when going to some remote attractions or rushing the itinerary
Life advice: For your first trip abroad with a child, Jeju Island is really a great choice
If we're talking about visa-free islands, Jeju Island definitely deserves a mention. It's affordable, close to home, and just over an hour's flight away, you can enjoy the jelly-like sea!
Jeju Island is very suitable for family trips. There's no need for exhausting travel, and there are often special deals on flights. Let me recommend a few places that I particularly like, where walking with kids is easy and fun—
·
1️⃣ Udo Island: A great place to exercise with kids. Get off the boat and rent an electric bike right away. My child and I each had a bike, and we spent half a day touring Udo Island, checked in at the lighthouse, had sea salt ice cream, and walked on the beach. Remember to take the shortcut towards Seongsan Ilchulbong when you leave Udo Island; the sunset at Seongsan is just too beautiful.
2️⃣ Seongsan Ilchulbong: It's a place I must visit every time I go to Jeju! Whether it's for the sunrise or the sunset, it's worth seeing. I usually stay near Seongsan Ilchulbong, which also makes it convenient to go to Udo Island and Ssangyong.
3️⃣ Ssangyong: Tadao Ando's architecture is a must-see, and the cafe downstairs is worth a try. The occasional path in Ssangyong is also worth a walk, and friends with kids can also visit the largest aquarium in Asia.
4️⃣ Sanjun Buli: It's simply a holy place for Korean drama heroines! The entire hilltop reed field is too romantic—
5️⃣ Yeongmonth: A popular coastline on the west line, many trendy restaurants and cafes are worth trying. The downside is that it's crowded, but the upside is that it's really photogenic, and every shop is decorated with heart.
·
Jeju's buses run at long intervals, and the attractions are scattered. Friends with an international driving permit can try renting a car for a self-drive tour. If you want to enjoy the classic east and west lines on a free trip, you still need a car and a guide.
Jeju Island Travel Guide in South Korea
Jeju Island Travel Guide
♻️Geographical Location:
Jeju Island is located in the southern part of South Korea, surrounded by the blue sea and sky. The island boasts beautiful scenery and a pleasant climate, making it a place full of natural and cultural charm.
♻️Transportation Guide:
The most convenient way to get to Jeju Island is by plane. There are currently direct flights from Shanghai, Ningbo, Beijing, and Shenyang, and there may be more in the future. The round-trip airfare is estimated to be over 1000 yuan.
♻️Historical Sites:
Hallasan (Hallasan) - This is the highest peak on Jeju Island and the tallest mountain in South Korea; designated as a national park. You can choose to hike or take a cable car to the top to enjoy the magnificent natural scenery.
♻️Hanhwa Land (Hanhwa Land) - This theme park combines natural landscapes with amusement projects, making it very suitable for family fun. Here, you can enjoy water activities, ride roller coasters, and there are also many exciting amusement facilities.
The above two are ordinary attractions, but what I recommend the most is: Seongsan Ilchulbong, which is famous and fun, as well as Moonlit Lee; Yeomiji Botanical Garden, or in other words, many places in Jeju are unique and worth encountering.
♻️Food Recommendations:
Bibimbap (Bibimbap) - This is one of the most popular traditional Korean dishes, made up of vegetables, meat, and rice, mixed with chili paste for consumption. In Jeju Island, you can taste authentic stone pot bibimbap with a rich texture and delicious flavor.
♻️Jeju Black Pork (Jeju Black Pork) - Jeju Island is famous for its specialty black pork. This pork has a marbled texture and is very tender. You can choose to visit a local barbecue restaurant to taste this delicious dish.
There are also rice cakes, Dongmun Market, abalone, and more.
♻️Accommodation Recommendations:
For high-end hotels, I recommend three: the Grand Hyatt in the city center; the Camphor Tree near the city area; and the infinity pool hotel in Seogwipo.
♻️Guesthouse - If you like to be close to nature and experience local life, you can consider staying in a guesthouse on Jeju Island.
As an experienced traveler, besides the food, which is also not tiresome, consumption in South Korea is relatively high, generally 2-3 times that of domestic prices; in fact, the attractions are all classic, and occasionally a small coffee shop by the roadside is very Instagram-worthy;
♻️If you have a budget, try to choose a chartered car;
There are duty-free shops that offer free shuttle services;
Get to know interesting people and things in Jeju; or experience the seaside lighthouse, here is the sea, adjacent to the domestic, worth your visit

There is a cafe in Jeju where you can directly face the sea.
Especially for those planning a trip to the east side of Jeju, it's a must-visit place, so I visit often!
☁️Jeju Landing Coffee
✔️Location: 45-1, 122 SinYang-ro, Seongsan-eup, Seogwipo-si, Jeju
The place takes better pictures when the weather is good, but it's also great for enjoying the sea even on cloudy days.
The second floor is a completely unobstructed space, so it's nice to just sit and heal!! 😊
The end is operated as a photo zone, so there's no need to fight for a spot, which makes it even better💞
Jeju Island's Seongsan Ilchulbong is truly stunning!!
A place with mountains⛰️, sea and grasslands
It's so beautiful when the weather is clear, very healing

Reflections on visiting Jeju Island twice and the reasons for wanting to go again
After two trips to Jeju Island, here are some genuine thoughts:
-
1️⃣ How long is an appropriate stay?
Looking at pictures online, it seems like there are just many little houses by the sea that could be walked around in a day, but it's actually quite large, about the size of three Seouls or one Xiamen. If you want to take a glance at all the beautiful places, a four-day itinerary is necessary.
-
2️⃣ How to arrange a reasonable itinerary?
The itinerary I followed was basically just eating and drinking, without any sightseeing or shopping, but it was already quite tight.
Day1️⃣: East route: Udo Island - Seongsan Ilchulbong - Sopjikoji
Day2️⃣: West route Yeomiji - East route Woljeongri
Day3️⃣: Seogwipo: Tangerine farm - Camellia - Hyeopjae Beach - Ole Market
Day4️⃣: Jeju Old Town - New Town seaside
Since I traveled to many places, staying in Seogwipo took up a lot of time, so it's better to stay in the city center. The east route has more scenic spots, so try to arrange two days for it.
The sequence for the best photo spots is: Udo Island, Yeomiji, Woljeongri, Hyeopjae Beach in Seogwipo. These are all seaside areas with roads leading to the sea and windows that offer a view of the ocean.
-
3️⃣ How to avoid unnecessary detours?
That is to group the places you want to visit that are close to each other, and also try not to miss any. This is the benefit of looking at more travel guides.
For example, in Yeomiji, besides bomnal and teamblow, there are also mumu, slowboat, Lazypump, and Ultra Marine nearby, which can be visited on the same day by chartering a car.
In Woljeongri, the mou moon cafe, bagel miseum, and the small dog cafe are not far from each other and can be planned together.
-
4️⃣ Aren't all the seaside roads and little houses the same?
As for the sea, the color of the water is different. Woljeongri and Yeomiji have that jelly-like sea, while Seogwipo is deep blue.
Udo Island is an outer island and not convenient for staying to watch the sunset. Sunsets can be chosen at Yeomiji and Hyeopjae Beach in Seogwipo.

✅ Hyeopjae Beach in Seogwipo ➡️ Udo Island ➡️ Lazypump near Yeomiji ➡️ Udo Island
✅ Jeju Old Town with a view of Hallasan's snowy peak ➡️ Slowboat near Yeomiji ➡️ Small dog cafe near Woljeongri ➡️ Yeomiji
✅ Teamblow in Yeomiji ➡️ Tangerine farm and Camellia in Seogwipo
➡️ Ole Market in Seogwipo with kingfish and tangerine rice cake
.
I want to go again mainly because I didn't really see the sunny blue sea, and I'm not quite satisfied!

Jeju Island's Seongsan Ilchulbong
Seongsan Ilchulbong features a black sand beach, seaweed, and here one can see the jelly sea, with cliffs and black rocks. Unlike the beaches in Sanya, the sand and stones here are darker and coarser. This place is a mountain peak formed by a volcanic crater, which is why the rocks are quite dark.
