The Seobok Exhibition Hall and Seobok Park were established to commemorate Seobok, who visited Jeju Island in search of the elixir of life under the orders of Qin Shi Huang, and to introduce the stories of Seobok, Jeongbang Waterfall, and Seogwipo to citizens and tourists.
The Seobok Exhibition Hall was designated as one of the seven major cultural tourism zone development projects by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism on February 27, 1999, and opened on September 26, 2003.
The exhibition hall displays the Northwest Stone Statue donated by Yongkou City, Shandong Province, China, the Seobok Dongdo Statue donated by Qinhuang City, and the Taishan Stone Lantern with the intimate calligraphy of Wen Jiabao, Seobuk Park.
Prime Minister Wen Jiabao's handwritten calligraphy was given to Wen Jiabao in April 2007 by Lee Se-gi, the chairman of the Korea-China Friendship Association, after explaining the purpose of establishing the Northwest Exhibition Hall to Wen Jiabao, who visited Korea to attend the opening ceremony of the 15th anniversary of Korea-China exchanges.
It is said that Wen Jiabao Chongli did not leave his calligraphy anywhere in China after taking office.
In 2005, when he was the party secretary of Zhejiang Province, Chinese President Xi Jinping visited the Xu Fu Exhibition Hall and signed the guestbook.
Liu Wenshan, a member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the Communist Party of China, Cai Wu, former Minister of Culture of China, Li Zhangchun, former member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of China, and Kang Dae-myung, the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Resources of China, visited the place.
ㅡㅡㅡ
It is the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and China.
Human rights and democracy in the Republic of Korea must be promoted.
The world must create a safe society based on peace.
I hope that the relationship between the US and China will be like bamboo horse friends.
Although diplomacy in the Republic of Korea changes depending on the government, it must practice multilateralism.
The country exists for the good lives of those who have lived and will live.
The Korean Peninsula must never become a battlefield again, and I hope for peaceful unification of the South and the North.
We must realize the common goals of the UN-SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) as a global society.
In order for the nation to live long, we must establish universal clean water, food, clothing, shelter, and energy.
