A field of grass in Hakone
#2024wish
There is a direct bus to reach the location. Once you arrive you will see huge field filled with suzuki grass. Be careful because the wind is quite strong in here. I recommend you to bring a scarf. Though I'm not so sure what it will be like in summer since I came on early autumn. You can also spot group of painters drawing the beautiful scenery here. Photography buff will sure like it here.
In 2024, I want to be back here.
Sengokuhara Pampas field at Hakone
#fallishere
Besides viewing the stunningly beautiful autumn foliages of reddish maple and yellowish gingko, there is also something that is worth watching that only blooms in autumn: Pampas Grass. At Sengokuhara Pampas field, that area will be full with golden Pampas grass shaking around with the wind direction. The best time to snap beautiful pictures is when the sky is gloomy without glaring sunlight, as it the Pampas grass will appear more outstanding in the pictures. Do take a bus and alight at Sengokuhara station for a visit if happened to be in Hakone during autumn. Best time to visit is mid of November.
What can I see in addition to the red leaves in Japan in the fall? ~
wall crack recommended Hakone Sengokuyuan's Mang steppe, there are not many to travel, and the grass can be seen for a very long time, from October to late November is no problem! This area was the birthplace of Miscanthus cultivated on the roof of the ancient times. There is still an 18-hectare grassland on the north side of the Sengokuhara Plateau.
The most beautiful time is from early to mid-November. When the weather is good, the sun shines beautifully. No big scene is definitely worth punching!
Not far from Owakudani, it is a relatively good place to arrive.
Address: Sengokuhara, Hakone-machi, Kanagawa, Japan
In the ancient times, the Sengokuhara area of Hakone-machi, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan was the place where the cultivated roof was cultivated. There is still an 18-hectare grassland on the north side of the Sengokuhara Plateau.
Officially entering the autumn until the late autumn, the whole grassland will turn golden yellow, and it will be golden in the sunshine.
Walk in it, there is a feeling of being in the golden ocean.
