Greenest Park in the Heartlands
#wheretogo
Sengkang Riverside Park is a lush green park featuring bridges that spans across to Sungei Punggol. It is a fantastic place for a jog, bike or just for a stroll around. It is one of the greenest parks I have been to in the heartlands. I just love coming here for a walk as it brings me so much peace and invigorates me. There are amenities such as clean toilets and shelters to take a rest. You can also find a community garden whereby the public can rent a plot for their own gardening. It was interesting to have a look at. At the bridge, there is a nice rest stop featuring a quirky mangosteen and orange installation. A good place for some photo ops. This is a quiet park with not many crowds so you can come any day of the week. Though I suggest coming during dusk as the sunset is beautiful here. Do check this place out!
If you are hungry, there are food options around such as Tenderbest or coffee shops at Punggol Bayview.
If you’re lucky you get to see otters swimming near the bridges.

Fret not, there is a park near you called the sengkang Riverside Park where it has more than 200 thousand over sqm and has open space play area, loads of trails and cycling paths that connects from the city and the entire island.
The park itself is located at Anchorvale Street, 544834 and is accessible between 2 LRT stations, Kupang and Farmway. If you are a bird spotter and wetland creatures lover, this is also a place as it's home to several few species too!

Sengkang Riverside Park is a tranquil park with family-friendly facilities. I see many will have their morning or evening exercises like Taichi or Yoga. It’s a park connector and hence you can walk, jog or cycle to Punggol, Seletar or Hougang or even Pasir Ris.
Parking is convenient and there’s a cafe there where you can chill out after soaking into what nature has got to give.
Really love this weekend retreat and especially miss it whenever I’m not in Singapore. This is really #mysgmemories

Fisherman Days
The Fisherman Days Sculpture Park is located at the heartland of Seng Kang. It tells the stories of how Seng Kang was developed. From a reclaimed land which was now fully developed into a district of itself. It showcases a giant marine whale and many other sea creatures which are living in the sea.
The attraction is open for free to the public. It is located 10 minutes walk from the seng Kang train station.

Relaxing Moments at Sengkang Riverside Park
In the mornings, I love heading to the neighborhood sengkang riverside park. It's a place for one to exercise or just have a serene walk/jog at the park and have some relaxing moments or pondering moments. This place is less crowded than any other parks and I love that it is peaceful and not boisterous, quiet for me to take things off my mind. Another thing that I appreciate about this park is that it has a lovely pond in the middle of the park and has lots of luscious floral and fauna. The air is particularly fresh in the morning. Plus, there's also an allotment garden in the park. It's an initiative for anyone who's interested to plant things in this rented out garden. You can even feel free to explore this allotment garden and speak to one of the gardeners there. You will love your mornings spent here at Sengkang Riverside Park.

Bonding with Nature in Seng Kang
I stay in Seng Kang and I love this estate so much! Within all the hustle and bustle, amongst all the tall houses and HDBs, you can actually easily find serenity in the parks and enjoy all that nature has to offer.
Recently, I was able to bring my young one to Seng Kang river side park, which was not too far from where I stay. The park was peaceful, and not too crowded. People were seen jogging, cycling, doing light exercises. The air there was light and fresh and everyone seems to be having an enjoyable time at the park.
There is a newly built bridge that links seng kang riverside park to another part of the park. While you are on the bridge, you have a very good view of the river, a nice view of the estate and all the surrounding floral and fauna. If you are lucky, you may even spot sea otters swimming in the water.
Do not fret if you need the toilet, because there is a public toilet nearby. Even if it rains, there are sheltered areas too.

Exploring Sengkang Riverside Park
One of the many parks we have in Singapore, Sengkang Riverside Park is located at the Northern Eastern side of Singapore, just along Sungei Punggol river. This park is also a wetlands park & home to lots of aquatic and mangrove wildlife.
There are a number of running/cycling trails that one could explore, and is also one of the pit stops for the round island route. As such, there are quite a lot of people cycling and running along the park, especially in the morning or evening period.
Sengkang Riverside Park is also home to the Skool4Kidz campus, and a kids playground is near to the school. There's also an Allotment Garden where residents can grow their own plants.

Glorious sunsets in Singapore
Documenting my fondest memories at Sengkang Riverside Park.
There are days where I find peace in the reflections from the river; and there are days where an evening jog in the park feels like therapy. It is always a good idea to stroll along the boardwalk at golden hour to admire the sunset and re-connect with nature. Occasionally I spot squirrels on trees and otters in the river.
The park extends to the punggol and buangkok districts via the park connectors. For this reason, the park is popular with cyclists/ skaters/ runners looking to clock some miles.

Cafe at Sengkang Riverside Park
#moreinsg
Address: 50 Anchorvale St, Singapore 544834 (Sengkang Riverside Park)
Simple local breakfast sets are served at the O'My Kampong Cafe on weekends and PH at just $5.90. I got the Otah Cheese Bun with soft served eggs & Teh O. Some other choices for breakfast include Laksa, Mee Siam, Bee Hoon, & a Singapore Breakfast Set (include Kaya or Peanut Bun, Curry Puff, soft boiled eggs & tea/coffee). They also have some puffs, pastries & even Ondeh cake selling at the cafe.
Nice outdoor environment with all the greenery surrounding. Very nostalgia cafe too as there's some olden days decoration like tingkat, old type card games & many more others. Weekends morning can be quite noisy as there's some groups having their workout just beside the cafe.

Singapore is a city with multiple parks within 5 mins walking distance
We can easily enjoy the green by cycling around the park via park connectors as well as burning up our calories.
One of the plus point is we can see the beauty of mother nature and the animals around.
Otters, definitely one of the rare animal to see during my trip other than Monkeys, fish, birds, giant lizards.

Sengkang riverside park
#singaporetrip Sengkang riverside park was peaceful and spacious. It eludes a very open and endless feel of greens, small water/ponds and serenity in this urban city. There are runners and bike tracks, or walking tracks. There is also a diner's corner in case you go hungry. Toilet is available. Toilet was clean then too. It is a walk away from kupang LRT (take from SengKang MRT) - no far no shelter.

Senkang Floating island
It is a wonderful place for those of us who love nature and walking.
The information given below by National Parks (Singapore) sums up the activities one can enjoy there:
Sengkang Riverside Park
With the Punggol Reservoir, also known as Sungei Punggol, running through it, Sengkang Riverside Park is calm and tranquil. Featuring a constructed wetland and rich biodiversity, it is a favourite of nature lovers.
Visitors can hike on the park’s many trails to view the manually planted marshes and get close to the inhabitants of the marshland. Home to many aquatic plants, the constructed wetland doubles up as a wildlife habitat and attracts a variety of mangrove birds and damselflies. Alternatively, embark on an educational journey to explore the fruit trees planted around the park. Besides common edible fruits such as star fruit, chiku and dragon fruit, you may even discover exotic fruits that cannot be found in local stalls and supermarkets. Visitors can also visit Singapore’s largest man-made wetland, PUB’s Sengkang Floating Island, which is located within the park.

Splendid! Sengkang Riverside Park
This is a nice park to visit. It is located near an LRT station and you can have a picnic in the park, which is green and serene. If you do not wish to pack a picnic, there is a cafetaria in the park grounds where you can have a meal or drink. If you are feeling energetic, you can walk along the park connector beside the river to get to Waterway Park or the Punggol Promenade.
