📍So this week i landed again at Senai International Airport, Johor. I personally favour their convenient facilities here which you can read via my several previous posts. This time upon landing, I intend to perform solat here. So I went to the Muslim/Muslimah prayer room provided at the airport near to KFC and Subway. I AM IMPRESSED WITH THE FACILITY!🤩 ✅Spacious, clean, prayer mat & veil also provided, and the mirror is wide. Their ablution spot (tempat wuduk) also spacious and disabled-friendly as they provide chair to cater oldfolks or disable person to perform ablution. Very convenient and comfortable performing prayer/solat here 🤩 There is also a nearby Masjid (mosque) outside the Senai Airport and quite big. For the past 2months, i had the opportunity frequently fly to Johor Bahru for my work matters. ✈️From my first flight landed at Senai International Airport (JHB), Johor Bahru up till today, my trip always run smooth here. 📌They have executive lounge and open lounge for the passengers prior to boarding their flights. The toilets in the airport are very clean and no bad smell. 📌You can also fill your tummy with a wide range of food outlets offered in Senai Airport. 📌They also have several massage chairs before the Departure gate and in between of the food outlets. 📌For muslim, there are separate prayer room for men & women. Since recently moving to SG, I have been investigating all the ways to travel and save money, continuing my habits from Europe. While checking flights to Thailand for new years I realised that flying from JB Senai airport was significantly cheaper, $200 cheaper to be exact! That's half the cost saved as opposed to flying from Changi. I took the MRT to Woodlands and then the bus to Woodlands checkpoint. The 170 Bus will take you up to the security checkpoint, then once you pass through there is a place to wait to be picked up by the bus on the other side. Once arriving in JB you need to pass another checkpoint and then you can walk from there to JB Sentral station. On the opposite side of the station is a small shopping mall of snacks shops and downstairs is the Bus Terminal. At station 1 in the bus terminal, all the way at the end, you can catch the Causeway Link bus to Senai Airport. There is one bus per hour, on the hour, so be careful when planning the journey to account for this. From here it takes approximately 45 minutes to JB airport. The airport itself has many restaurants and drink shops despite its small size. The security queue is very short and can be passed easily and there are a few other food outlets on the other side, but not as many. Be careful if your gate is G1 as you need to pass a passport check before entering that gate. This time I flew with Thai Air Asia. The flight was very comfortable but the best thing was obviously the price, paying $200 less for my flight was a big saving and I plan to spend it on snacks in BKK 😆 #favouriteairline

Great airport with many food and beverage shops for dine , first time trial to on board from this airport, will continue support while the tickets here was affordable than Singapore Changi Airport, just neighbour distanced. For local flight it’s so easy to exit, declare out freely, it’s so much freedom without scanning the bags or baggage ,…found it so much convenience :) #couplestrip
