6-Day Bali Bliss: Sun, Sea and Flavours 🌅🌊(Part 1)
#beachcheck
Day 1:
We arrived in Bali and headed straight to *Guling Samsam Merekak* for lunch. Renowned for its exceptional Babi Guling, a Balinese specialty, this restaurant did not disappoint. We ordered their signature Samsam Pork and Sate Lilit. Although the location was somewhat remote and challenging to find, the exquisite flavours of the food were well worth the effort. The pork was delightfully crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, making it a standout dish.
Afterward, we relaxed at *Pantai Kuta*, a popular spot known for its stunning sunsets and impressive surf conditions. The beach is conveniently located across from the *Beachwalk Shopping Centre*, where you could catch a movie or shop.
For dinner, we visited *Nasi Pedas Bu Hanif*, a roadside stall serving generous portions and flavourful dishes of authentic Javanese cuisine. However, true to its name, "Pedas" (spicy), the food packs a punch, so be prepared for some heat!
Day 2:
The next morning, we rose early and headed to *Jeffry Warung*, a popular brunch spot with exceptional smoothies and coffee.
We then took a leisurely walk along the beach before our paragliding adventure with *Alamparagliding*. This was our first attempt at the sport, and it proved to be incredibly thrilling. The instructor from Alamparagliding was both patient and meticulous, ensuring our safety and guiding us through the experience. The panoramic view of the beach and ocean from above was nothing short of breathtaking—if given the choice of a superpower, I would certainly choose to fly!
Afterward, we took our second cup of coffee at *Dua Kafe Nusa Dua*. The cafe offers a spacious and relaxing atmosphere with its wooden decor. While the coffee was good, it was somewhat on the expensive side.
In the evening, we enjoyed dinner at *ShiShi Nightclub & Izakaya* Lounge, savouring their exceptional sushi and vibrant atmosphere. The hype surrounding this place is well-deserved. The ingredients are of the highest quality, and for approximately SGD $30, you can enjoy an all-you-can-eat experience.
Day 3:
On our third day, we began early to catch the stunning sunrise and indulge in a delicious breakfast at *Revolver Seminyak*, a charming boutique café with a stylish ambiance and impressive brunch offerings. We ordered a latte and matcha, complemented by a flaky croissant and indulgent tiramisu.
Following breakfast, we explored Seminyak Village, a shopping haven showcasing traditional Balinese handcrafted products, including clothes and souvenirs.
For lunch, we opted for a local experience at *Sate Babi Bu Manis*, savouring their signature freshly grilled satay, tender and full of flavour. For those who prefer a milder option, the satay pairs perfectly with rice, offering a more substantial and less spicy meal.
In the late afternoon, we relaxed at *Potato Head Beach Club*, relishing the beachfront setting, sunset views, and lively atmosphere. The club excels with its great drinks, tasty food, stunning views, and overall positive vibes.
To cap off the day, we dined at *Naughty Nuri*, a famous barbecue spot, and indulged in their mouthwatering smoked ribs with tangy sweet and sour sauce. Each bite of the tender, succulent meat was so satisfying that it left us craving more.
