2025 Kuala Rompin Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in April)

#hiddengems 📍Address: Padang Batu and Jaang Waterfall, Selendang, Rompin, Pahang, Malaysia. I am quite sure that not all know about this wonderful treasure in Rompin, Pahang. Padang Batu Waterfall and Jaang Waterfall is located at one of reserved forest in Rompin. I joined an open day trip hike to these two waterfalls. Our journey to step our feet there is firstly by using 4x4 car around 25 minutes and then continuing the journey by hiking easy trails for 1 hour to reach their campsites. Have a little rest there around 10 minutes before continuing our journey to the Padang Batu Waterfall. From the campsite, the trails are moderate level as the land a little bit steep. Upon arrival, we're having lunch and enjoy our time there for 2 hours (swimming and taking pictures). After that, we continued our hike up until Jaang Waterfall (spent the rest of the time there before went back to starting point). Along the hike journey, we got to see lots of river and small streams. The waterfall is so cold, clear and beautiful! You can see fishes swimming from above the water. Besides, there's also lots of butterflies and dragonflies there. They even landed on my head and finger. Another interesting part is we can enjoy our time swimming and taking photos peacefully there as it is not crowded like some others waterfalls. Ptama kali menjejakkan kaki d Villea Kuala Rompin. Suasana yg tenang. Damai. Anak2 plg thibur dengan kolam renang yg cetek dan luas. Org dewasa pula sangat bpushati berenang di kolam renang dengan kedalaman 1.7m. Pantai yg sesuai utk aktiviti anak2 mgorek pasir. DAN!! Plg berharga adalah di waktu mlm kami myaksikan ombak yg bcahaya dengan plankton (saya agak) sgt terpegun. Semua teruja. Kami akan kembali ke Villea.. itu adalah pasti. Sangat2 rekemen pd kalian utk merasainya sendiri.

Cantik juga resort dekat Rompin ni.. . Villea Rompin Golf & Resort ni terletak di Kuala Rompin, Pahang. Lokasinya betul2 bersebelahan pantai. Pantai pun bersih dan cantik. Bilik kat sini pun luas dan selesa. Kalau amik bilik seaview, buka pintu terus nampak pantai. . Kolam renang pun luas.. ada kolam dewasa & kolam kanak-kanak. Kolam kanak2 tu ada gelongsor dan juga cendawan air tu.. #favouriteitinerary Rompin Beach Resort is a decent 3 star hotel centrally located in the heart of Rompin. While it was once a glamorous spot, it’s a bit dated now. The resort is clean, but it could definitely use an upgrade. There’s no elevator, so be sure to pack light if you're staying on the upper floors ! Overall, it’s a pleasant, no frills stay in Rompin town.

Hubby is a big fan of road trip. Last year June, we bravely brought our two young explorers and together we went for a short Msia Peninsula from Sg. Our first stop was going towards Mersing. If you do pass by the Kota Tinggi to Mersing route, you may stop by the famous Kota Tinggi Bah Kut Teh. We didn’t do it this time as we wanted to go straight to Mersing as pit stop for lunch. From Mersing, we went up straight to Endau Kuala Rompin. We had a two night stay at Villea Rompin Resort & Golf. The resort is simple with most facilities available. staff and people are nice. The rooms are not fantastic but we came for the beach. and this is one of the few with beach front. And indeed the beach has really impressed me. We saw great sunrise and wonderful sea creatures. Abundant of starfish, crabs that intrigued the little ones. On the 2nd day stay, we happened to see a 180 degree rainbow. It was the best I have seen so far.

A 3 days 2 nights trip to kuala rompin with my family, to spend time by the beach, playing sand, enjoying breathtaking sunrise and went on clamp picking activity. All of us love the clamping picking experience, we hire a boat to take us onto rompin river, and all of us sitting in the river using our hands or feet to find the clamp that hide in the sand is super fun experience, we ended up catching a looot of clamp and bring to restaurants in town for them to cook for us. #malaysia #Kualarompin

The resort was wonderful and the staffs really helpful and friendly. It is recommendable to those whose looking for a peaceful stays. I will come back, definitely.

Getting There - By car.. Not too far from Rompin town. Attractions - The beach is soooo clean and nice! I am really enjoying the beach and the sea view so much. The best to see sunrise! Hotels - Everything is good! Many necessities were provided. The furniture might look old but all are functioning well! I am impressed. Food & Restaurants - Breakfast were soooo good and delicious. Variety of malay cuisine and other cuisine too. Shopping - If you wanna go shopping while stay here, I am not recommend it to you.. This resort is special for people who wanna calm his mind and enjoy the staycation.

Tak pernah sangka pemandangan Pantai Lanjut sangat mendamaikan. Ombak bercahaya diwaktu malam. Tekaan saya mesti plankton. Duduk di atas buai sambil merenung pantai dan desiran ombak. Saat yang benar2 berharga buat seisi keluarga. Lebih istimewa jika bilik hotel keluarga juga mengadap pemandangan laut😉 Rasailah sendiri.. jangan tunggu2 lagi. Pasti berbaloi disini.
