An interesting park to visit where you least expect it. Its interactive. Reasonable outing in the town with family. Nice ambience and kids enjoy feeding the animals. Feeding the free animals are alot of fun..they already come running at you just bought their food! The animals are so beautiful, looks healthy and well fed. There's also a musical water fountain show and a seafood restaurant is available if you want to have some food. The zoo keepers are very friendly too. Best place for spend good time with family.. One of the best giant curry Mee I have been try is selayang coca seafood restaurant.They are many ingredients in a big bowl like char siew,siew ba,long bean,sprouts,fish ball ,meat ball,steam chicken and “siham”.A big bowl able to feed 3 peoples. WE TRAVELLED TO SELAYANG TO VISIT OIR RELATIVES AND THEY TOOK US TO A WONDERFUL OPEN AIR CAFE NEAR OUR HOTEL. THE CAFE SERVES AUTHENTIC KELANTANESE AND 'KAMPUNG' DISHES. NASI KERABU IS A MALAYSIAN CUISINE RICE DISH WHICH IS FAMOUS IN THE EAST COAST OF MALAYSIA. THE CAFE SERVES 2 TYPES OF NASI KERABU- THE WHITE COLOUR NASI KERABU EATEN WITH GRAVY, SERUNDING KELAPA, BUDU AND SLICED ULAM AND THE BLUE COLOUR NASI KERABU (BLUE DYE CAME FROM THE PETALS OF CLITORIA TERNATEA FLOWERS WHICH WE COMMONLY CALL AS BUNGA TELANG) SERVED WITHOUT THE GRAVY BUT ADDED WITH SPICY CHILI SAUCE, SALTED EGG/FISH/GRILLED CHICKEN/BEEF, BUDU AND KEROPOK.
