[2025 Qinhuangdao ] Travel Guide for Seatopia (Updated May)

We had a long weekend in Nandaihe and spent some time in SEATOPIA during the days. You can find everything here from Hotels, bars, restaurants, coffee shops and the beach. There is a sailing club where you can take classes and you can rent bikes to move around. The area is open to visitors even if you don’t live on the premises different from the nearby Aranya where you need a ticket to enter. Bright & Bay coffee We had a lunch brake here with coffee, beer and cakes. The coffee shop is super nice and has both indoor and outdoor seating. We found seating outside and it was a hot day however luckily there was some wind for us. Sunrise This was a bar at the beach. We only came during daytime but should be very cool in the evenings. We had some nice mock tails there is very nice surroundings. It almost felt like we were somewhere outside of China. Super well made. Rooftop bar at Marriott hotel We came here for afternoon tea. The bar has super nice cocktails, a live band and rooftop pool access. We wanted to take swim in the pool but it was very crowded at the time we were there. It's different from Aranya. The Azure Coast Scenic Area is free of charge. From November to March each year, it's the season for Siberian seagulls to migrate. Azure Coast welcomes a large number of seagulls that gather by the sea, flying in flocks in the air or resting on the sea surface. The scene is spectacular. Taking photos at any random spot turns out great, completely eliminating the worry of crowded and messy shots. Less hustle and bustle, more tranquility and depth. While admiring the seagulls, you can find leisure places nearby such as Cat's Sky Concept Bookstore, Wave Bar, and Camplamp. After watching the seagulls, you can go for a cup of coffee.

Tens of thousands of Siberian seagulls travel thousands of miles to Qinhuangdao for the winter, and there are especially many seagulls on the Azure Coast! You can stand on the trestle or by the beach and throw sausages into the air, and the seagulls will come to eat them. Interacting with seagulls makes for great photos! Walk west along the coastline and you'll see a white building that looks like a piano. This is the Lang Bar. The entrance is on the left side of the building. Go up the stairs and you'll find a terrace with an unobstructed view of the sea. Coffee is served during the day and alcohol at night. You can also enjoy the ginger soda from Rose Story here. Relax and take some photos! If you're traveling with kids, the Central Park behind the Lang Bar is a must-visit. Weekend in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, two days of walking with kids without taking leave We set out on Saturday morning to the sea and sky, digging for crabs, catching small fish and picking up shells. Qinhuangdao is so comfortable in the off-season. The orange sea at sunset on the Cote d'Azur is so romantic. Walking on the beach with a cool sea breeze and feeding the seagulls makes me feel like time has slowed down. It's so chill~
