| Phu Quoc Island Shell Hotel. Originally wanted to book a more well-known hotel, but later a friend who had been there recommended this Shell Hotel. It turned out to be beyond expectations. Location: Located in the middle of the island, relatively central, and the night market is just outside the door. In the evening, you can take a walk outside, eat, drink, and have fun. However, it is about a 20-minute drive from most of the attractions. Hotel Facilities: There is an infinity pool (great for photos), and right down from the infinity pool is the beach where you can play with sand. Some people go directly to swim in the sea. There are also spa services and the like. (If you don't go out, kids can be quite satisfied just digging in the sand at the hotel) Food Recommendations: Next to the hotel, there is a stall at night under Tomhouse that sells delicious pancakes and macaroni, and the iced tea is very good too. We had it for three consecutive nights, buying it back to the hotel to sit on the balcony, listening to the sound of the waves while eating. There is also a Japanese restaurant. After eating a lot of Vietnamese food, we really wanted to change the taste, so we went into this restaurant and it turned out to be great.

#2024wish This was my husband and my first trip together without our children. We chose Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam. It was a very beautiful and interesting place. we stayed at the Seashells Hotel, right on the beach. The trip was almost like a honeymoon. Our family is planning to visit this place again next year. I hope my children will enjoy Phu Quoc Island. Another place we want to visit in 2024 is Phuket, Thailand.

Phu Quoc Travel Itinerary - Day 1 🛫️ 12:45 pm: Flight from Kuala Lumpur (AirAsia) 🛬️ 1:35 pm: Arrival in Phu Quoc Upon arrival, collected luggage and proceeded to the airport entrance to meet the hotel-arranged driver. After everyone gathered, boarded the hotel's shuttle bus to head to the accommodation. Accommodation: Seashells Hotel and Spa 🏨 - Check-in: 3 pm - Smooth check-in process, spacious rooms, bathtub in the bathroom, and a satisfactory breakfast. However, the cleanliness of the bed was a slight concern as there were itching issues upon waking up. - ⚠️ The hotel offers free airport shuttle service; guests need to email the hotel 48 hours in advance to arrange. Exploration: Grand World (GW) 🌐 - Departure: 5 pm - Used the free VinBus 🚌 to reach GW. Walked from the hotel to the bus stop and took Bus 17 to GW - Bus ride to GW took approximately 30-40 minutes. - Upon arriving at GW Terminal 2, walked a short distance to reach the attraction. - Explored different areas in GW, capturing photos of the diverse scenery. - Although the Vietnam Cultural Village at GW offered performances (with tickets), the focus for the day was on photography and enjoying the scenery. - Asked the driver for restaurant recommendations in GW. He suggested a seafood restaurant, but since the travelers did not eat seafood, the driver recommended another restaurant with unexpectedly delicious food. Unfortunately, the name of the restaurant was not captured. Throughout the 4 days and 3 nights in Phu Quoc, transportation expenses were covered as VinBus services were used for traveling to various attractions.

This is an excellent location for first timers in Phu Quoc as you are in the centre of everything. Room-go for the ocean view room on a higher floor so that you can get the awesome pool view and ocean sunset. 🌅 Buffet breakfast was really good. The egg station is awesome with plenty of options. Food spread is good as well with both Western and Asian choices.
