I chose "Xian Ye". The restaurant is not very big and the decoration is ordinary. Ordered Taiwanese noodles with pork neck, beef and ox bone soup, and upgraded the drink to fruit tea. After getting the food, you can go to the public space to enjoy it, which is more spacious and comfortable. We discovered BriKetenia during the pandemic years and found it to be a delight - high quality French food at prices that won’t set you back a lot. Sets are priced at $180-$400, which include appetizer(add surcharge for oysters), main course and a drink. Of the main courses we tried so far, duck confit and steaks are impressive, and the creamy meshed potatoes taste really delicately cooked. Dessert has to be ordered with a surcharge but they are not to be missed, especially their sorbets- so good that you can taste the efforts put into it. However since business is getting better now, service here is a hit or miss - we found our plates being taken away too soon that we felt like we were rushed through the dinner. Definitely worth an encore next time 😜. ✝️ Special Herb-Roasted Hormone-Free Whole Spring Chicken with Potatoes and Vegetables $158 The whole 900g roasted spring chicken is freshly roasted to achieve crispy skin and tender meat 🔥. Although all the food was served almost at the same time, and the chicken was a bit cold by the time we ate it, it didn't affect its deliciousness 🐔. It wasn't very juicy, but the chicken meat was not dry at all. The dish also came with tricolor fries and vegetables, and the portion was quite generous 😂. For snacks, we ordered a serving of 5 Chill Spicy Buffalo Wings ($58) and Fried Sweet Potato Fries ($68). The former was flavorful with a slight spiciness 🌶️, covered in rich buffalo sauce; the latter included sweet potato, purple potato, and taro fries, freshly fried and still crispy and hot when served 😋.
