Kagoshima Ibusuki's unique experience - sand bath hot spring
Ibusuki in Kagoshima is the only natural sand bath hot spring in the world, so you must experience it when you travel to Ibusuki!
Sand Music Hall is a famous sand steam hot spring hall with complete facilities and beautiful and comfortable environment! The whole process was that I needed to put on a Japanese Yukata and lie down, and then be buried in a pile of sand heated by underground hot spring water for about 10 minutes. After a while, I felt the pressure of the sand pile, which was very interesting! After the sand bath, you can return to the clubhouse to take a bath and soak in the hot springs and enjoy a leisurely day!

[1️⃣Day Tour in Kagoshima: JR "Ibusuki Tamatebako" Sightseeing Train + First Experience of Ibusuki Sand Bath 🏖️] (Part 2)

Now the cherry blossoms seem to be blooming later every year, but because Ibusuki is located at the southernmost tip of Kyushu, it is warmer and more sunny, so I was lucky to see the cherry blossoms🌸 when I went in March
✦ Sand bath
📍Location: Sand Bath Club (Sara Raku Sand むし 馆砂楽)
🚗Transportation: 🚶🏻➡️20 minutes walk / 🚖5 minutes taxi
It is recommended to walk, on the way you can see the cherry blossoms and the sea ✨ But note that there are fewer taxis there, in fact, it is more difficult to intercept >< If you really do not want to walk on the return trip, you may try to find the club to help call a car ~
Sand bath process:
Change into bathrobes → walk out of the beach queue → listen to staff instructions and let him shovel sand for you → enjoy a sand bath for about 10 minutes
Staff is very professional, shoveling sand will not make your face 🤣 do not worry ~ but if you feel too hot remember to speak, be careful not to burn ah >

[Kagoshima] Take the black and white train "Ibutama" to Ibusuki Onsen, where Eevee is loved!
A cute black and white train departs from Kagoshima Chuo Station. We'll be heading to Ibusuki on the Ibusuki treasure box, nicknamed "Ibutama"!
"Ibutama" is a train modeled after Urashima Taro's treasure box, and the entrance recreates the smoke that comes out when the box is opened.
After about an hour of swaying on the train, we arrive at Ibusuki.
Ibusuki is famous for its sand baths.
The location is right in front of the vast ocean!!
We were steamed by having sand poured on us with a shovel, which was different from the summer when we had sand poured on our bodies on the beach as children.
The hot spring ingredients seeped into the sand, and the humidity was just right, allowing us to sweat comfortably.

The underground heat will come up, and everyone can clearly see the steam here.
After the sand is steamed, return to the men's and women's bathing rooms, throw the gauze-filled bathrobe into the recycling bin, and simply rinse the body to ensure that there is no grit and then you can go to the soup pond to bathe (at least the men are this Process).
