However, if you come too late, you might have to queue, as it is a well-known tourist attraction. The top floor of the elevator is an observation deck with a great view, offering a panoramic vista of Lisbon. It's quite impressive.

We visited during the late afternoon and there was a queue to get tickets at the box office. Although the queue passes quite quickly, if you hate to queue it is perhaps better to go in the morning when they open!! I personally quite enjoy the elevator ride, as it is the perfect blend of history and modernity. I would recommend taking the lift if you’re in Lisbon if the queue is not ridiculously long!!
