When visiting Berlin, besides exploring the city's attractions, you can also visit Sanssouci Palace in Potsdam. A combo ticket to see all the surrounding attractions costs 22 euros, while just entering Sanssouci Palace costs 14 euros. Personally, I wasn't interested in the other attractions, so I chose the 14-euro option. However, the 14-euro ticket can only be purchased on-site on the same day, not online, so you need to queue up early. If you buy the ticket in the morning, you can enter around noon. The tour takes about 35 minutes. After visiting, I felt it was okay but not a must-see. I booked the same hotel on Trip.com for a few hundred dollars less than other websites, saving money and earning Trip coins for future use.

Charlottenburg Palace, Berlin Out of the 3, I prefer Schwerin Castle 🏰. The castle's exterior looks so magical and lovely, while the interior looks luxurious with an art exhibition displaying works from Dutch & Flemish artists from the 17th and 18th century. #bucketlistreboot New Palace & Oriental tea house It hosts an estate of several palaces, including the original Sanssouci Palace and also the New Palace along with an Oriental tea house, vast English style gardens and fountains. Best way to visit this estate is by planning your visit on the train and make sure you know where you want to go as the estate is large and it will take some time to go from one place to another. Berlin is a city that combines excellent touristic points of interest, great city vibe and very easily accessible. Within a weekend, you can most certainly visit the city and if you want, you can even combine it with Potsdam. It truly is a family and visitor friendly city, feels safe all throughout. #berlin #germany

#bucketlistreboot We dedicated almost a full day to go to the nearby town of Potsdam. A bit of what Versailles is to Paris or Windsor to London. We took the earlier train and arrived by 10am in Potsdam. Sanssouci estate It’s a quick ride and the ticket isn’t that much either. From the Potsdam train station you can either take a bus to the Sanssouci estate or walk. We walked, of course! At the Palace you will be astonished – since Frederick the Great himself decided to be buried there. Essentially, it’s an estate for the former Prussian Kings designed to impress guests. The idea being that Berlin was for official visits; Sanssouci for the unofficial ones. #berlin #germany

#2022展 Take photos outside the magnificent Sanssouci Palace in Potsdam, Germany~ I spent a pleasant morning💗I remember taking an early train that day~ It is a good way to avoid the crowds and take good photos~ Super large palace complex and garden☘️ I like the 6-story grapevine stairs outside the palace the most. It is really eye-catching when viewed from a distance💗In addition~ The gallery is a must-visit place. Once you walk in, you will be stunned by the magnificent decoration and the paintings hanging full of them🥳And in the New Palace at the farthest distance, the walls and fountains made of shells are all impressive palace buildings. One ticket allows you to visit all the palaces/attractions built in different corners of the Sanssouci Gardens. If you want to visit all of them, I think you should set aside at least a full day.
